If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.
Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
God must love stupid people. He made SO many.
Some cause happiness wherever they go. Others whenever they go.
Why do Americans choose from just two people to run for president and 50 for Miss America?
I should've known it wasn't going to work out between my ex-wife and me. After all, I'm a Libra and she's a bitch.
You're never too old to learn something stupid.
Jesus loves you, but everyone else thinks you're an asshole.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.
Friends may come and go, but enemies accumulate.
I have all the money I'll ever need - if I die by 4:00 p.m. today.
According to a new survey, women say they feel more comfortable undressing in front of men than they do undressing in front of other women. They say that women are too judgmental, where, of course, men are just grateful.
To err is human, to blame it on somebody else shows management potential
Don't steal. That's the government's job.
See, the problem is that God gives men a brain and a penis, and only enough blood to run one at a time.
I'm a humble person, really. I'm actually much greater than I think I am.
There are three kinds of people: The ones who learn by reading. The ones who learn by observation. And the rest of them who have to touch the fire to learn it's hot.
If you can't convince them, confuse them.
Why is it called Alcoholics ANONYMOUS when the first thing you do is stand up and say, 'My name is Peter and I am an alcoholic'?
Losing a husband can be hard: in my case it was almost impossible.
Insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results.
Silence doesn't mean your sexual performance left her speechless.
I like you. People say I've no taste, but I like you.
If your dog is barking at the back door and your wife is yelling at the front door, who do you let in first? The dog, of course. He'll shut up once you let him in.
I have to exercise early in the morning before my brain figures out what I'm doing.
Birthdays are good for you - the more you have the longer you live.
I thought I was wrong once, but it turns out I was mistaken.
99% of lawyers give the rest a bad name.
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone.
Oh Lord, give me patience, and GIVE IT TO ME NOW!
To do is to be [Descartes]. To be is to do [Voltaire]. Do be do be do [Frank Sinatra].
Everything is funny as long as it is happening to somebody else
If idiots could fly this place would be an airport…
I'm one of those bad things that happen to good people.
Boldly going nowhere.
I've found Jesus! He was behind the couch the whole time.
Your kid may be an honors student, but you're still an idiot….
I wonder what life would have been like if you had had enough oxygen at birth.

People can be divided into three groups: Those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who wonder what happened.
A free society is one where it is safe to be unpopular.
He may look like an idiot, and talk like an idiot, but don't let that fool you. He really is an idiot.

This is exactly the type of press that we do not want because allegations and innuendos will get us nowhere fast. Consider this piece:
“Well-placed sources and officials close to the MACC said Teoh was “manhandled and threatened” by investigators during a 10-hour interrogation as part of a political conspiracy to bring down opposition leaders, led by Anwar Ibrahim, and to implicate them for alleged misuse of funds.
“When he refused to do so, the officers dragged him to a window on the 14-story building and threatened to throw him out,” the said the source who was not authorized to speak to media”
These well placed sources who were not authorized to speak to the media – who are they to know these ‘facts’? Apart from the officers from MACC themselves the only other well placed sources that would be able to tell it like it is would be the fly on the wall – and to my knowledge they do not speak. Will MACC break ranks and have their own rat on them? Not likely but we can hope against hope. As to this political conspiracy to bring down opposition leaders – come lah, we are also trying to do the same thing to them. Our methods differ but when push come to shove methinks that Anwar can come up with some tricks up his sleeves too – remember his ‘fight’ with Mahathir?
“It was reported yesterday that from the line of questioning by the police with Teoh’s family members, it was apparent that they were trying to absolve the MACC from any blame or liability. Both Malaysiakini and Malaysian Insider had reported this.
According to these reports, most of the questions focused on the possibility that Teoh’s death COULD NOT have been caused by MACC’s officers and that Teoh was a troubled and suicidal person”
Of course they are trying to absolve the MACC from any blame or liability!! Would you expect anything less when the Police are investigating themselves? Have you seen any of those ragut or snatch thieves own up to what they have done even when caught red handed by the public? If they feel sorry for themselves it is because they were caught and certainly not for stealing. The Police would be insulting themselves if they try anything less. As for their line of questioning – asking about suicidal tendencies is routine in a sudden death situation like TBH.
We must remember that whatever we come up with – eyewitness accounts, videotapes, recordings etc – there are ways and means for them to close one eye and shut the other. Hell they even go so far as to ask for that to be done officially. In the past they have got away with it time and time again - but like when Anwar was hit while under Police Custody – if the proof is overwhelming – if it looks like murder, if there are overwhelming evidence to say that they have committed murder and if everything points to a murder and if it really was murder – then the powers that be will have to say that it is murder. They are not going to protect the Police if it means that they are going to go down together. Until then – we wait and see.
Methinks MACC will fall on its own sword – for well have they pledge allegiance to God and loyalty to King and country ..they better hope that King and Country will save them because God certainly will not.

It is now 9.49pm and as is my habit - after the day is almost done – and with ‘Desperate Housewife’ on TV that means that I will have to go to my PC for alternative entertainment. After having a look through The Vision – Uganda’s leading website – I then went to NSTP online just so that I will not miss any earth shattering news and happenings that UMNO wants me to know. An online exclusive caught my eye.
DAILY DISPATCHES: They got their Royal Commission of Inquiry but will they stop their lynching?
IN ordering the formation of a Royal Commission of Inquiry today to probe the chary death of Teoh Boon Hock, the young DAP cadre whose body was found sprawled outside Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Shah Alam headquarters last week, the Cabinet committed the most pragmatic decision it could make in light of the over-the-top outrage generated, mostly by Pakatan Rakyat leaders and its band of noxious supporters.
Immedietly I had to go to the dictionary when I came across ‘chary’ in the very first paragraph. It meant ‘sorrowful’. Impressed I press on – this reporter can almost be mistaken for a writer!
The next sentence contained another ambigious word (to me) ‘cadre’ which according to Webster means ‘Cadre (pronounced /ˈkɑːdreɪ/, from the French) is the backbone of an organization, usually a political or military organization. Generally it is applied to a small core of committed and experienced people who are capable of providing leadership and of training newer members’
Again I am impressed. This reporter must be worth his weight in gold to his Editor. He has used ‘chary’ and ‘cadre’ in the very first paragraph of this online inclusive. Must have gone to the same learning instituition as that Ketua Pemuda fellow – aisehman I mean during his primary years lah.
Next came ‘pragmatic’ which I was quite familiar with having had to salute many a PDRM mata mata with a ‘boleh selesai encik’ – not because I want to but I had to be pragmatic.
A few seconds later I came across another hard one ‘noxious’ –
morally harmful; corrupting; pernicious:
Morally harmful and corrupting being the operative word – words that this reporter should be familiar with when working for Political Masters who are not from Pakatan Rakat.
Suffice to say that at this juncture I said enough. Who is he trying to impress? Chary, cadre, pragmatic and noxious ..and we are not even past the first paragraph. Sheesh (as my late fellow blogger The Ancient Mariner would say)…I have other things to do then go on reading this pretentious idiot piece. I rather go torture myself and watch ‘Desperate Housewife’ ….with one eye open and one eye close of course.
Why I will not be accepting Ku Li’s decision to not accept Zaid’s offer…
With respects Sir your personal want’s matters not at a time when the country requires your guidance and wise counsel. We have need for an elder Statemans to sit within our midst to ensure that the path we take is the right one. We have need for a voice of reason to take us on a ‘steady as she goes’ course as Pakatan Rakyat sails into uncharted waters not knowing what it will encounter in the need to ensure good governance of our country in the days to come. Who else will do that for us? Who else will have that strength of character to stand up against the likes of Anwar, Tok Guru. Kit Siang and Kapral if not you Sir? Who else will not turn and run when push comes to shove in the hurly burly of the ‘take no prisoners’ politics of UMNO? Who else but you Sir.
I am past listing the litany of abuse and deceits of UMNO. I am past trying to understand the stupidity of those in power to constantly abuse the trust we have place in them. I am past being angry at the audacity of those whom are sworn to protect us continue to time and time again, do us harm and cause heart aches to those whose love ones have died in custody.
Let me not belittle our call to you Sir by equating it to a call to National Service. As you said the situation we have now transcends party politics. Will you then Sir, rise above party politics and lead us for as long as you physically can and then we will allow you to retire with the thanks of a grateful nation and its people….and if it does any good at all Sir, this heartful plea comes from a Budak Kolet despairing of what our country has become.
