Kuatnya hati beliau. Cekalnya hati beliau. Besarnya hati beliau .
SIAPA KAH DIA ?? Ya.. dialah .....

JASA MU TETAP DI KENANG WALAU PUN ADA SEGELINTIR RAKYAT MALAYSIA MALAH ADA JUGA DI KALANGAN ANAK DIDIKAN BELIAU TIDAK MENGENANG JASA BELIAU TERHADAP NEGARA BANGSA MELAYU DAN UMNO SERTA MEREKA SENDIRI
Pak Arshad : Let not the Armed Forces Veterans "be angered by the foolishness of greed and self serving interest by those in power today".
I was with a group of Armed Forces veterans yesterday, and unavoidably our discussion is centered around the well being of the nation today. Of course, when one discusses 'issues of state', one cannot avoid raising the name of Najib and some of his loyalist i.e. the likes of Salleh Keruak, Ahmad Dahlan, Shahrir Samad and Nazri Aziz to name a few. From the ensuing discussion, I can conclude that the concern of veterans today are the uncertainities arising from the 1 MDB scandal involving Najib, and the huge financial losses (and in all probability through financial mismanagement and abuse) of GLCs namely Felda, Mara and Tabung Haji and corruption involving high public officials. There is strong resentment among veterans to the aforesaid damning issues, and I could also sense a strong dislike and even hatred towards the ruling regime. I hope the concerns of veterans towards the issues inflicting the well being of the nation today isn't ignored by the ruling regime because they were the people that had brought peace and security to the nation. Let the ruling regime be warned that there are more than 200,000 veterans that had sacrificed their lives and many maimed in defence of the nation, and let them not be angered by the foolishness of greed and self serving interest by those in power today.
steadyaku47 comment : Tabek Pak Arshad! This group of Armed Forces Veterans, like many other Malaysians "Veterans," must, for now, hold their peace even if the provocation from those who do government in our name have abused and misused their public office for personal gain.
They must hold their peace simply because there is still a process within our nation for orderly elections and transfer of political power when elections are won or lost. Yes I would be the first to agree that there have been abuses of not only the electoral process but also the wholesale re engineering of our population to advantage umno and bn in the electoral process.....but nevertheless, that process for the orderly transfer of political power is still in place, however fragile.
May I respectfully suggest that what the Armed Forces Veterans and other Malaysians "Veterans" must try and do is to ensure that that process of change is given the best possible opportunity to function independently of any political abuse by najib, umno, bn or the opposition. Then, and only then, can the change that we aspire to, be achieved within the democratic process we cherish.
Today I know much more about the DAP. For a start I spent 2009 or thereabouts writing articles for Lim Kit Siang Blog. In that time I read also what Kit Siang posted in his own blog and the many comments by others who read what he posted. When you do this on a regular basis you get a sense and a feel of what DAP and Lim Kit Siang stood for. Overwhelmingly I felt that DAP was making a concerted effort to make itself into a political entity for all Malaysians.
I have no problems with DAP....but many Malays do. For them the DAP is a clear and present danger to all Malays and to Islam and if asked they will have their reasons for thinking so. There are enough of these anti DAP Malays out there not only for DAP to worry about but also for all right thinking Malaysians to worry about because nothing will cause the fragmentation of our Malaysian society quite like the ignorance of those who think themselves so right in mistakenly accusing the DAP of being a threat to the Malays and to Islam.
"Soalan aku , dalam bahasa mudah, macam mana kau semacam (secara langsung atau tidak langsung) sokong dap yang terang-terang tidak mesra Islam dan Melayu?!
Kalau kau rasa umno terok terhadap Islam dan Melayu, bayangkan sekiranya dap berkuasa."
Why would someone, who I thought could think for himself, believe that if DAP ever came into government, the Malays and Islam would suffer? Why? What did he think DAP would do to Islam and to the Malays if the DAP ever won government? Banish Islam to the ends of the earth and have the Malays discriminated against in all things Malaysians?
And yet even as I despair, there are others who think differently This came to me just a few minutes ago:
"I followed UMNO's reign in Penang for all those years. In the beginning, UMNO can rule Penang alone! It had majority by itself. Don't need MCA or MIC. But slowly, both orang Melayu and China gave up on UMNO. Melayu left and Chinese also left MCA. Gerakan got the support for a while but now, both Melayu and China support DAP."
So maybe all is not lost.
But while we celebrate diversity let us also hope that there will be enough of us around to do what is the right for our nation and for our people. While I am a Malay and you, my reader, may not be one, let us measure each other by our ability to treat others as we would like others to treat us. And in this I know that the DAP will not fail us. By any criteria you would care to measure it, umno already has.

Family statement - share and pray
My name is Susanna Liew Sow Yoke. I am 61 years old and a housewife.
On Monday, Feb 13, 2017, my husband, Pastor Raymond Koh Keng Joo, 62, was abducted in Jalan SS4b/10, Petaling Jaya less than 100 metres from the Kompleks Perumahan Polis.
This was confirmed on Feb 14, 2017 by Selangor CID chief senior assistant commissioner Fadzil Ahmat.
On the morning of Feb 13, 2017, my husband left our Prima Sixteen Chapter Two home in Jalan 16/18, Section 16, Petaling at around 10am to go to the Puncak Damansara Condominium in Kampung Sg Kayu Ara, Petaling Jaya.
According to the police report filed by my son Jonathan Koh Szu Hao, 32, my husband left home at approximately 10am.
He then drove to Puncak Damansara where I last saw him just after 10am. He was on his way to a mutual friend’s house in Kelana Jaya to deliver some belachan. My husband never arrived at his destination.
He was abducted in Jalan SS4b/10, Kelana Jaya, by at least five masked men while en route to our friend’s home. The abduction took place between 10:31:42 and 10:32:39 am according to CCTV footage, currently with the police.
My children and I are shocked, saddened and traumatised by the events of the past week. Today, it is almost a week since Raymond was abducted and we have heard nothing.
I believe that the people who took my husband from me are no ordinary abductors because of the following reasons:
• They were masked
• The abduction was professionally and deftly executed, taking less than 60 seconds
• The abductors had money, or were backed by money, or by an organisation with money as the cars they used were expensive SUVs, at least one of which was a black Toyota Alphard
• The abduction was planned, timed and executed at an opportune moment, which suggests that they were waiting for my husband who drives an old Silver Honda Accord bearing number plate ST 5515 D.
Someone in the group calmly filmed the entire abduction while other masked members of the group re-directed the traffic.
According to witnesses, at least five masked men were involved.
According to CCTV footage, at least three black SUVs stopped in the middle of the road.
I did not learn about my husband’s abduction until about 8pm when a mutual friend called to ask why my husband had not appeared for a 4pm meeting. I suspected something was wrong when he did not return home for dinner.
The fact that after almost a week there is only silence suggests that the abductors’ motive is not monetary gain.
Since the abduction occurred in a residential area and in broad daylight, my family and I are prepared to offer a reward to anyone who can help shed light on this distressing incident.
My husband has been involved in Harapan Komuniti, a community work project which he set up more than 10 years ago and which involves giving free tuition classes to children and English lessons to adults.
I would like to appeal to those who have taken my husband to return him safe and unharmed to me and my children.
I would also like to appeal to any eye witnesses to come forward.
I would also like offer a reward amounting to a maximum of RM10,000 for information leading to rescue of my dear husband. Please WhatsApp Jonathan at 01139732670.

At the risk of being label whatever it is that people would want to label me...let me make my stand clear on a number of issues.
I do not need anybody to tell me that the Malays, of which I am one, are blind to what Malay politicians are doing to advance their own personal political agenda.
I do not need for anyone to tell me that the Muftis, Jakim, Jawi and all those so called Islamic authorities, entities or "what have you" masquerading as doing ALLAH's work on Earth are doing the bidding of their political masters who pays them their salaries to enable them to put rice on their family table each day.
I do not need for any infidels, or any other Malays for that matter, to tell me to open my eyes to the prosecution and persecution of the other races, other religions and those whose thoughts, ideas and ideals differ from those of umno, pas or for that matter any other Islamic authorities!
And let no other Malaysian tell me that for as long as the Malays have the numbers and are convinced that Malaysia is their Tanah Air, and that Islam is their religion of choice to be imposed and hold sway not only over the Malays but over any one else that chooses to make Malaysia their home....that is how long this nation, its people and its future will be mired in the toxic abyss of ignorance, racial and religious emptiness and nothingness.
I know all this....and more.
For as long as I could think for myself I have already asked myself what role will I allow religion to play in my life. From the time I could think for myself I have already asked why should I allow anyone to tell me that the Chinese and the other races are a threat to my own survival. To my own existence. To my own ability to survive in what they tell me is my own Tanah Air. And from the time I could think for myself, I resolve that all this, and more, I will work out for myself, rationalise for myself and make my own decision on religion, race and politics. And with all things that has to do with life....with MY life, I will carefully think for myself and weigh the pros and cons of what is around me, within me and without me.....and then come to a conclusion that, in my own mind, is not only right, but fair and correct to myself and more important, to those that I love, that I care for and for all those that are living in the world with me.
And yet with all this in mind....I also understand that while I may like to have my Nescafe black...there are others who will not drink Nescafe without milk or cream. Hell there are many others who will not even drink Nescafe!
I understand that while I choose to live in Melbourne there are others who will not live anywhere else but in Hutan Melintang or Batang Berjuntai or Pontianak because to them, that is Home. And they see no reasons to leave Home for Melbourne.
And much to my chagrin, I also understand and accept that while I consider the thieving, robbing, swindling eldest son of Tun Razak, namely one najib razak, to be the scum of this earth....there are many others who will worship the very earth he walks on and kiss his hands that have just scratch his balls while he was in the toilet just before he turun padang to met his adoring masses.
And that my friend is how most of us live our life. The giving, getting and sharing and accepting that we are all different from the other and yet we are all the same - for are we all not of the same kind? The Human kind? Unity in diversity? Live and let live?
I wish it was so.
Common sense will tell you it is not for there are many among us who will take what is not rightful theirs. Steal even from others, what they want. There are many among us that will use race and religion for their personal agenda. And worse, there are many who will do you physical harm. They will deprive you of your god given rights to live your own life as you think fit and freedom to think and do as you please in as long as you do no harm to others...and they will do all this because they can! They will do this because political power confers upon them the ability to do so. Such is the state of our nation today. And it is so because umno is the political force dominant over everything else.
I saw this happening in Malaysia over three decades ago and not wanting my children to grow up in that place...I left Malaysia to live elsewhere. In Australia to be exact. So for those of you who do not know me personally....do not preach to me about what is happening in Malaysia today...about the Malays, about race and religion and about Umno and politicians who abuse the electoral trust the people has given them when they were elected to public office.
Of for that matter, do not blame any Malay for what you perceived to be the weakness of the Malays or of Muslims to accept the abuses and misuses of Public Office by Malays who now have political power. You do not know the individual circumstances of the Malays who have had to live under umno and under the Islam that umno propagate to advance their political agenda.
I could, and did, tell umno and najib to F**K OFF and go live elsewhere. They could not.
And when your periok nasi is dependent on what najib and umno does....what else can you do but allow najib and umno to be in government in the hope that what they do while in government will advantage you personally and hopefully, the Malays and Islam in general....for most of the Malay masses this is what matters in their life for now.
Will the Malays change?
Why not ask if your thoughts and the thoughts of your father and those of your own blood had remained constant throughout out the ages? Nothing does! It will change and we can only hope, for the better! And that is all we can hope for to happen....and if you can be that agent for positive change that will benefit us all and benefit our nation....who not be it?
This is why I do this blog. That is why I spend hours writing and trying to make you guys stop a while on this blog....in the hope that what you read here will make you do what I do to try and make change happen....and that is simply this.
People are different from you and me. If you want them to come onto our side....go sit with them, share a drink or a meal with them....and talk. And in the talking listen to what they have to say...listen to their hopes, their aspirations and their fear and try to understand why they think they way they do. And when you listen to them....you can only hope that they too will listen to you....and maybe.....just maybe....the two of you can walk together towards the Malaysia that we all want and aspire to.
Is bankruptcy real for a country mired in multiple corruption scandals and helmed by a big-time liar and thief ?
1. SUPERMARKETS CLOSING DOWN.
This list of supermarkets / hypermarkets closing down has become viral.
The following supermarkets will be closing down:
1. AEON Big Kota Damansara closing on 28th February 2017
2. AEON Big River City on 28th February 2017
3. AEON Big Bangsar South on 15th March 2017
4. Tesco Scott Garden on 28 Feb 2017
5. Giant Superstore Viva home on 2 Mac 2017
6. Giant Bintang Sg Way on 28 Feb 2017
I just received confirmation from someone in this business that this list is correct. Here is more information :
“Yes all closing very true. Business is bad. ..Giant already closed SIX outlets last year. Rumour is Giant is closing another SIX outlets this year.”
Hello media people, call Aeon, Tesco and Giant and check with them lah. If Giant is closing SIX more outlets this year, that is about 1000 workers being laid off.
The economy is shutting down. Especially at the street level. The people are suffering. Businesses are suffering. They are closing, people are becoming unemployed.
2. STUDENTS ALLOWANCES CUT 35%.
Recently, sad news from student from Institute Pendidikan Guru (IPG).
They just received long delayed allowance for Jan and Feb 2017.
Amount received very much reduced….. a cut of 35%.
IPG student in KL given RM700
Amount hardly enough if staying outside campus. Worse now…. only RM400++ how could they survive? Odd job… part time job…some may fall into vice.
My comments : In Kuala Lumpur, a 3 room apartment in the Kerinchi area rents for about RM1800. One room rents for RM600. Even if two students share one tiny room, that is RM300 for room rental alone. One breakfast costs minimum RM3.00. Lunch costs nothing less than RM5.00 (nasi putih with one lauk). Dinner will cost the same. Maggie Mee is about RM1 per packet. Can they eat Maggie Mee seven days a week?
3 HOSPITALS FACE SEVERE BUDGET CUTS.
“Encik Syed. Kawan saya HIV patient tak dapat blood test result last month sebab Hospital Sungai Buloh budget takde untuk buat blood test. Dia sepatutnye dapat result last month, ubat pun tak cukup stok. Kalau sebelum ni boleh dapat sebulan sekotak sekarang cuma dapat separuh je dalam packet plastik.”
This is getting to be real serious. People will die. If they cannot diagnose the cancer in three months, it could be too late to save the patient.
4 SCHOOL BUILDING FACING COLLAPSE.
Sender’s comments : “Kpd pengetua kat Pekan ni, rasa kecewa pun tak guna. Kerajaan dah nazak, takde duit…terpaksalah jaga sendiri.. Mesin OMR pun tak mampu nak ganti, sekolah dah nak runtuh pun sama juga takde peruntukan nak baiki.
Hanya peruntukan utk PERMATA bertambah dari tahun ke tahun.
Bajet private jet sama jugak, anytime boleh terbang sana sini.
Kesian kat budak2 jadi mangsa kerakusan kerajaan kleptokrasi MOI“
– See more at: http://www.themalaymailonline.com/…/sekolah-boleh-runtuh-bi…
My comments : Most likely a crony contract, using sub standard materials. The building roof is falling apart. The sad thing is this problem has been going on for two years.
The Kementerian is just tai-chi-ing the problem to the JKR and vice versa. They dont have money. So the Kementerian does not want to pay and neither does the JKR want to foot the bill to repair the roof.
Folks, the “No Income Nation” is here. The country is grinding to a halt.
5. Here is some caricature about the Menteri Pendidikan :
“Bajet yang terbaik” ? Kepala hotak hang.
That RM260 Billion Budget was fake.
There is no RM260 Billion.
The gomen has no money.
The situation is worsening now on a daily basis.
For each supermarket that closes, at least 200 workers will lose their jobs.
Delivery lorries, van drivers, lorry drivers, mechanics who service the delivery vans and lorries will all lose their jobs or suffer business slowdowns. They will also become unemployed.
Suppliers who sell goods to all these supermarkets will suffer losses and slow downs. They will also be laying off their staff and workers.
It goes on and on.
ABOLISH THE GST. PLEASE ABOLISH THE GST.
CALL FOR AN EMERGENCY CABINET MEETING AND ABOLISH THE GST.
ABOLISH THE GST, REMOVE ALL DUTIES AND TAXES ON IMPORTED CARS AND VEHICLES AND THE BN WILL WIN THE PRU14. HOW ABOUT THAT?
