The above two news item says it all. The first one tells us about this son of a Sultan who talks about the right of Johor to secede from Malaysia because he considers it to be the best thing to do for the people of Johor.
The second story is that of his father the Sultan talking about his dream to take possession of the world's most expensive Mack truck when he already has 300 cars in his garage!
An exercise in incongruity is it not?
But go try and explain that to the son and his father and I can assure you that it will all be lost in translation...the translation to make them understand how his rakyat lives and how the Sultan lives . Worlds apart!
Of course if you think that having your Sultan own 300 cars and the most expensive Mack Truck in the world is the height of nobility and sophistication...then I am sure you will tell me to mind my own business and not tell your Sultan how to spend his money...and you will also asks me to go to hell! End of story!
