Altantuya : More then a Smoking Gun....

MORE THEN A SMOKING GUN

Go stop any Malaysian on the streets – it does not matter if he is Dollah wearing a sarong and a songkok quietly having a smoke at Block A of the PKNS flats in Kampong Baru: Or if he/she is a concerned citizen having a noisy discussions over teh tarik and roti chanai with their friends at Mahbub in Lucky Gardens in Bangsar: Or you could be one of the fortunate BN political elites having High Tea at Biba’s Café at the Mandarin Oriental just after a meeting at Petronas: who ever you are in Malaysia : one thing and one thing only had been able to hold our rapt, undivided  and unwavering attention since October 2006.

THE MURDER OF SHAARIIBUUGLIN ALTANTUYAA
Шаарийбуугийн Алтантуяа

Yes we know already who shot her twice in her head and then blew up her body with C4 explosives! We too know that Razak Baginda is now comfortably exiled in London. To all intents and purposes the AG seems satisfied that justice has been done! The Malaysia government is done with it!

So how come the murder of Altantuya is still taking space in our consciousness? What are the questions we still want answered? How could a murder of a foreigner that took place almost five years ago is still reverberating around Malaysia and threatens to deliver to UMNO what even DSAI and Pakatan Rakyat seems unable to do?

From her grave, Altantuya threatens to deliver the coup de grace to Najib Tun Razak aspirations of continuing as Prime Minister of Malaysia and with it the political demise of UMNO! How is this possible?

“Its name is Public Opinion.
It is held in reverence.
 It settles everything.
Some think it is the voice of God”
Mark Twain

Notwithstanding what that the Malaysian High Courts have already delivered its decisions by sentencing the two UTK personals to death, the Malaysian public opinion begs to differ.

Lord Hewart from Rex v Sussex Justices; Ex parte McCarthy:

“… it is not merely of some importance but is of fundamental importance, that justice should not only be done, but should manifestly and undoubtedly be seen to be done.”

And the verdict of the Malaysian High Court does not take this into consideration.

And now the dye is cast for Najib Tun Razak.

Not Sodomy Two, not the Carcosa Tapes, not the threaten deregistration of Pakatan Rakyat, not the antics of this maniacal idiot call Ibrahim son of Ali….nothing will distract the Malaysian Public from taking their focus off that unanswered question they all want to know about the Altantuya murder.

What is Najib Razak’s involvement
with Altantuya?

By seizing the Prime Minister post from Pak Lah before it was time for him to do so Najib has bought himself some time. He managed to extricate himself from being drag into court during Altantuya’s murder trial. The office of the Prime Minister in Malaysia has now been corrupted by Najib to be a refuge for him from fair and natural justice! So far so good for Najib!

But what of Muhyiddin’s political ambitions? What of Mahathir’s naked nepotism to have his son as Prime Minister too? Will Hishamuddin side with Najib his first cousin or will the political realities within Johore force him to take sides? The plot thickens!

In all this all that Najib can do is wait for the axe to fall! No warlord within UMNO can weather the storm that the murder of Altantuya will unleash against Najib if ever UMNO takes the cloak of invincibility away from Najib. The question is not if they will take it away…it is when!

You can see the ebb and flow of UMNO stalwarts as the physically move from faction to faction, from one Ketua to another  - all the while forming and dissolving alliances/loyalties determined by one constant only: what can you give me for my loyalty? Ada projek? NAjib knows this and Najibs sahabats are powerless to do much. They themselves have grown fat over these Najib years and know that their time is almost over. Better to concentrate on accumulating more wealth then to concern themselves with shoring up the crumbling defenses of Najib – nothing could stem the tide that was now sweeping towards them like a tsunami of biblical proportions.

If you ask me when the 13th general election will be:
I will say this:

When Muhyiddin decides it is time!

For our friends that are with Pakatan Rakyat, I have this to say.

BN kita Lawan. PR kita Kawan.

Its Najib that we want, not Khairy penyebuk.....

with thanks to:

http://alditta.blogspot.com/2011/01/its-najib-that-we-want-not-khairy.html

Its Najib that we want, not Khairy penyebuk.....

Pakatan Rakyat leaders urged Prime Minister Najib Razak to reconsider his decision not to engage in an economic debate with Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim, saying that such a refusal would only deny the citizens their right to get facts correct and directly from the horses mouths.

The ability and tenacity for debate is the hallmark of good governance, leadership and democracy. The measure of a leaders conviction and belief in his or her policies lie in the willingness to advocate, defend and argue his or her case publicly. This is particularly true where free media and transparency are lacking and where the government appears to avoid debating certain policies even in Parliament itself, Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah told Malaysia Chronicle.

So, in light of Datuk Seri Najib Razaks statement that it is unnecessary for the rakyat (citizenry) to decide between the policies of BN and Pakatan Rakyat, it further illustrates arrogance and condescension towards the right of the rakyat to hear arguments from both sides. The fact is the rakyat yearns to know the facts. The right thing to do would be to accept this debate as it involves the most important of policies for the nation. It is not too late.

Over-reliance on spin doctors

The proposal for the debate came from Najibs arch rival Anwar, who issued the challenge after Najib lambasted the Pakatans 100-days reform plan as unsound and would bankrupt the country in two years. Despite the stridency of his rhetoric, most Malaysians knew in their hearts the 57-year old PM would not be able to summon the courage to face his 63-year old political foe. To ensure his own political survival, Najib has pinned manifestly fabricated sodomy charg! es on An war and even suspended him from Parliament.

It shows Najib is not confident. He should have the courage to prove that he has better policies than Anwar and explain these in person and face to face. But it looks like Najib is unable to function without crafted speeches and tutorials from his spin doctors, Seri Setia assemblyman Nik Nazmi told Malaysia Chronicle.

Interest in the Anwar-Najib debate has flared up, underscoring the concern Malaysians feel about their economy. The middle and low income groups are grappling with inflation that financial analysts have predicted could double to 3.4 per cent in 2011 versus the 1.7 per cent chalked last year. There is also curiosity and sheer dumb-foundedness that Najib could announce a slew of super mega-projects such as the Economic Transformation Programme worth RM1.4 trillion when just months before his own ministers had warned Malaysia could go bankrupt by 2019 if it did not cut subsidies on consumer essentials.

Najib is unable to withstand the pressure of facing Anwar. So far, all his ETP are just empty promises and pie in the sky. In a face-off that is bound to be televised live, he cannot rely on his tutors to spin reasons for him. There will be just too many questions for him to answer, Taiping MP Nga Kor Ming told Malaysia Chronicle.

Give the people the chance to decide

Meanwhile, in a bid to help Najib save face, the Youth wing of his Umno party led by Khairy Jamaluddin has offered to stand in for him. Umno Youth information head Reezal Merican and Youth secretary Megat Firdouz Megat Junid arrived at the PKR's headquarters to hand over the invitation to Anwar on Thursday. They told reporters that Anwar's chief-of-staff accepted their letter.

Such a political debate is important as it helps clarify issues for voters. Many democratic countries hold such debates. PMs refusal shows he is not undemocratic and perhaps fearful. Also KJs! offer t o debate Anwar is impertinent. He is welcome to debate our party Youth leaders, PKR vice president N Surendran told Malaysian Chronicle.

Perhaps, Izzah has summed it up well. Her rationale certainly highlighted the lack of logic in Najib's response.

Let history show and the people judge for themselves in whose interest or disinterest is it for the PM to not only decline but malign the democratic purpose of a debate, especially when it involves billions of the peoples money. Such issues as these touch millions of lives and the very future of our country. If this isnt reason enough for debate, then what is? asked Nurul.

In turning down the debate, Najib had said:

If we want to have a debate, there must be an outcome. I dont see any outcome (in this debate challenge). Whats important is the publics opinion and their evaluation, Najib had said, side-stepping how the public could evaluate when its leaders shied away from open discourse and debate on key issues.

source:malaysian chronicle

Umno Youth was only "pretending" by delivering the invitation, suggesting that their real motive was to deflect attention away Najib. KJ is only pleasing Najib to give him chance to be appointed in Najib's cabinet. What have KJ got to do with government policies and steering the economy?

Kita mahu orang nombor 1, 1Malaysia yang mempunyai dealing terus dengan dasar2 ekonomi negara bukan hantar KJ budak berhingus, walaupun ketua pemuda tapi tak terlibat langsung dengan dasar2 gomen Najib 1Malaysia....

cheers.

Unfit to be Prime Minister....of any country!

When I look at Najib, Muhyiddin, Mahathir, Ibrahim Ali - all those bombastic self-proclaimed Ketuanan Malay “leaders,” I do not think of Hang Tuah! Huh! All they remind me of are Field Marshall Idi Amin Dada, Mobutu Sese Seko, Robert Mugabe and His Excellency Benito Mussolini Head of Government, Duce of Fascism, and Founder of the Empire. Yes at one time or another they were all leaders of their people, all striding to the sound of brass bands and traveling around in motorcades flanked by armed guards. Leaders they might be but they were all totally oblivious to the look of contempt and disgust from the very masses that they consider themselves to be Lord and Master over. Totally oblivious of the massive harm they have done to the country they ruled. Totally oblivious to the crumbling ruins of their government because all they see are the trappings of power and their personal needs. Never the misery of the people they rule.

I want you all to understand this. When in power these kinds of leaders will do what they want. They would not investigate themselves. MACC, the AG, the Judiciary and PDRM (among other Government entities) are there to ensure that these leaders are given the means and leeway to do what they want. And what they want is to stay in power and make money for themselves and their cronies.
And who are the people who have been in charge in Malaysia? For 22 years of the last 30 years it has been this man call Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad. The fourth Prime Minister of Malaysia whose political career has lasted 40 years and still counting.

Just as Singapore has been shaped by one iconic man Lee Kuan Yew, Malaysia too has been shaped by one man, Mahathir……and therein lays a tale. Singapore is one of the world’s most prosperous countries with strong international trading links with per capita GDP equal to that of the leading nations of Western Europe. Malaysia has the most prosperous politicians and strong family links with these politicians will ensure that your personal capita GDP will be equal, if not better than that of many African Politicians with similar inclinations to rob their own country blind. Transparency International Corruption Perception Index of the past 16 years puts Malaysia as the worst country in Asia-Pacific. Malaysia is the 7th most corrupt nation in Asia. Corruption is common among the country's political and business class. Bribery and other corrupt practices pose major problems for companies operating in Malaysia. The business of government is equally corrupt. So while Singapore has taken the high road, Mahathir has taken the low road and he has, unfortunately, taken us along for the ride.

Now we have Najib Tun Razak. This man is unfit to be our leader. Unfit to be the Prime Minister of our country. He would have a hard time holding on to a position as Manager of any decent size organization where decency, honesty and integrity are required of its employees – as it should be of any individual holding a position of responsibility.

But in UMNO he thrives! He is their President! He can fool UMNO, he can fool the Attorney General of Malaysia, he can fool the IGP, he can fool the Cabinet (though one can argue that the closing of one eye and the shutting of the other has the same effect!) – but try as hard as he can, he will not fool us and of course he cannot fool his wife. After all it takes a thief to catch another thief…birds of a feather flocks together…get my drift?

Why is Najib unfit to be our Prime Minister? Let me count the ways…..

Hands down the tragic murder of Altantuya tops the list. Don’t ask me about it because I am bias. Go ask that Indian kachang putih seller, the Pak Chik selling satay by the roadside or that Chinese guy selling Yong Tau Foo at the market in Lucky Gardens each morning. Ask them about Najib and Altantuya. This is what they say:

NAJIB IS GUILTY UNTIL AN INDEPENDENT JUDICIARY CLEARS HIM.

No need to swear in the mosque, no need to discredit Bala’s SD, no need to say that the murderers have already been caught, gone to trial and have been sentenced. The damming thing is this Najib – YOU know that WE know that YOU are involved somehow and somewhere in that sordid saga of the RM$500 million submarine commission for Razak Baginda and in the murder of Altantuya. Whether the facts are made known during your time, your children time or your children children’s time is to be seen. The truth shall prevail but you will not.
Under your watch MACC murdered Teoh Beng Hock while he was under their custody. PDRM bludgeon Kugan to death and shot Aminurasyid to death! All the king’s horses and all the king’s men could not put Humpty Dumpty together again. You Najib did not even try! A political police force? Is that what PDRM has become? Huh! If today PDRM has become a tool for the survival of UMNO and BN then be assured that after the 13th General Election the people will claim back PDRM and not leave it to be the force of evil that PDRM has now become but cleanse it to become once again a Force for good.

This is also the same Najib that made an offer of RM$5 Million to the people of Rejang Park during By-Election time to elect BN's Robert Lau. Truly a courageous (in politician lingo that means stupid!) and remarkable (in our lingo this also means stupid!) attempt by our Prime Minister to BUY a by-election. An enlightened electorate rejected his offer.

During Najib’s stint as Minister of Defense the procurement of arms and equipment became an ‘art form’ that impacted favorably on the financial well being of his and UMNO's cronies.

Eurocopter.
Ministry of Defense signed a Letter of Intent to acquire 12 Eurocopter EC725 Cougar helicopters for the sum of RM2.3 billion. Brazil paid only RM$1.2 billion for 50 units of the same mode.

Sukhoi Fighters. 18 Sukhoi Fighter Jets were bought for RM3.2 billion. A 12 percent commission of RM380 million was paid to its local agent IMT Defence Sdn Bhd whose Chairman was Adib Adam, former Chief Minister of Malacca. The same Malacca that once had an UMNO child molester as its Chief Minister.

Naval Patrol Boat. Ministry of Defense paid out RM4.26 billion to PSC-Naval Dockyard for only RM2.87 billion of work done. The Malaysian cabinet waived late penalties of RM214 million. 14 progressive payments amounting to RM943 million was paid out to PSC-Naval Dockyard without payment vouchers or relevant documents dealing with the payments. The technical incompetence of PSC-Naval Dockyard to undertake the contract can be confirmed by the fact that PSC had never built anything but trawlers and Police boats before being given the contract by Najib.

Missing Jet Engines Two fighter aircraft engines from the Royal Malaysian Air Force went missing in May 2008. Enough said.

Any individual that is involved in any one of the above truly shameful straight out grab for the Rakyat's money would not be considered for employment at any reputable business entity. In Malaysia he becomes our Prime Minister! Camna ni? Does that not make him an unfit person to be Prime Minister of our country? I rest my case.

cakap cakap : Najib can Run but.......

Najib I want you to think of this. The United Sates of America is capable of tracking one single terrorists in the dead of night out there in the desert in real time  - they can track anybody, anytime 24/7 – and then if it suits them terminate them….and I can track those that log onto my blog to the very street that they live in. The USA has the capability of firing a missile with pinpoint accuracy from thousand of miles away. The can eves drop on conversation even of those talking on the moon…and knowing all this you send JJ to Washington? Did you not understand that sending a loose cannon to Washington is sheer lunancy? Do you not think that by now that US of A will have enough information of his raba raba activities over there to be able to put the fear of God into him – if they wanted to? And by the same token do you not think that that same US of A already have you and the members of your cabinet under surveillance 24/7 and by now have enough information on you and your ministers to hold you and your ministers to ransom if they chose to do so? And I emphasize, “If they chose to do so!”

I would think that by now they know more about you and your ministers then any of us or for that matter more then what PDRM knows. What PDRM has on you and your ministers would be for Musa to tell! The last time I checked he is still IGP!

Is that why you use APCO? Because you were advised to do so? Is that why the USA accepted JJ as Malaysia’s envoy to Washington? The easier to ‘talk’ to someone when you got him by the balls? When I see the games you play I smile. These are not amateurs you are playing with. You mess around with them – and you are dead meat!

In the land of the blind the one-eyed is king. Yes in Malaysia you are king – you d man – for now! But for how long? Suharto, Marcos, Thaksin – all leaders far more formidable then you in countries around us – all these corrupt leaders are now gone. Singapore leaders are still around. Yes they are autocratic in their rule but they are not corrupt. Singapore grows from strength to strength because corruption cannot touch their political leaders.

If it suits their purpose the US 0f A could have you out of Putrajaya’s office before the 13th General election – if it suits them.

Mahathir had no personal weakness. What he did in helping out his cronies and children was done legally. When you have absolute control of power that is easily done. He does not drink nor does he womanise. The USA had nothing in him. You and Muhyiddin are a different kettle of fish altogether. Greed and a fondness of the flesh make people weak. The way things are you two have already compromised yourself – if not the country. The USA does not care much what you do to the country – well not much anyway! We have seen what they do in Vietnam, Cambodia and Iran – they do as they please. For now it pleases them to leave the two of you alone – so be thankful. They know you do not have much time left. They can wait and then Anwar will do the necessary!

A word of advise. You want to shoot Anwar down with sodomy two? When you shoot to kill someone make sure the safety catch is off and there are real bullets in the gun – lest your intended victim also have a gun to defend themself! But then do you really have a gun capable of killing Anwar or you THINK you have a gun capable of doing the job? You must understand that when you seek to kill someone and you do so with a pretend gun he will not pretend to defend himself! He will try to kill you back. And he WILL kill you!

Sometime Najib I think that in your time alone you must wish for the good old days in Pahang as MB. Then it was just you sowing your wild oats. Things are so much complicated now. So much to lose……just think what fate awaits you if PR wins the elections? The mind boggles at these thoughts.

And now UMNO in Malaysia! Soon UMNO will just be a footnote in the pages of our history and possible a two line comment stating “ A number of UMNO leaders were convicted for corruption and abuse of power after the 13th General Election by the Pakatan Rakyat government”

Najib...what will you do with Anwar?

What do you want to do to Anwar now Najib? Did what Mahathir do to him over ten years ago? Take away his freedom? His wife, his children, his self-respect – leave him with nothing but to be surrounded by the four walls within Sungai Buloh that imprisoned him? Again?

If you think the people of this country will accept this quietly you must be more stupid then you look! If you think Azizah and her children are going to accept the humiliation of Anwar again – then you would need to have your head examined.

Just who gave you the idea of charging Anwar with Sodomy Two? Muhyiddin? Or did you thought up this hare brained scheme all by yourself? Think Najib! If Anwar is convicted then it is just Sodomy One all over again – and we know what happened four years later when that conviction was overturned by the Federal Courts. If Anwar goes free then that is egg on your face. Either way you lose! But of course if you are prepared to go into Sodomy Two just to cause humiliation and embarrassment to Anwar on a personal basis then you are as evil as Mahathir – but I think the price to UMNO will be too high. But then just as Mahathir never considered the cost to UMNO of what he did I suspect neither would you! UMNO must have upset somebody up there pretty bad to deserve leaders like Najib and Mahathir! But then you reap what you sow.

Now look at yourself Najib. Prime Minister of Malaysia! But you owe Mahathir much for getting you there much earlier then you are supposed to – but you needed to be Prime Minister earlier in order to stop getting yourself entangled in the Altantuya case. So you had to make that deal with Mahathir. Help me, you told Mahathir, and I will owe you!

But the problem is this. What do you have to do to remain Prime Minister? Mahathir wants you to neutralized Anwar and put his son Mukriz in cabinet. Mukriz is already in cabinet at the expense of KJ. But Anwar is still a problem – to you and Mahathir. Mahathir understands what damage Anwar can do if he ever gets to be Prime Minister. Anwar is Mahathir nemesis and Anwar could also see to the demise of UMNO – and with it, you Najib! So Mahathir is desperate for Anwar to be  behind bars in Sungai Buloh. In these times that we live in this is easier said then done! Let us await the outcome of this farcical trial while you and Mahathir sweat it out!

Now what will happen to you Najib? Do you think anybody cares? Nobody does. Not Muhyiddin, not Mahathir not UMNO...and least of all, the people of this country! If you are stupid enough to hang yourself, UMNO will give you enough rope.

Just look at you now Najib! You are more known as being the unfortunate husband of Rosmah then being Prime Minister of Malaysia. A hen pecked husband living in fear of a wife who knows too much about your doings in the past – and worse, she is prepared to use what she knows to keep you in line!

So you are Prime Minister of Malaysia and President of UMNO and yet when it comes to the crunch you are totally helpless to decide what you can do to help yourself. You know that your fate has already been decided by what you have done in the past. What you do now is simply a charade – manipulated by other people who will let you continue to be Prime Minister because it serves their purpose to let you be Prime Minister.

When the dust settles what will be left will be you with that quizzed look on your face that asks “ What happened? Why am I no longer PM?”
You will take UMNO down with you. Then we will have closure to the UMNO chapter. Closure to Mahathir and closure to all that UMNO represents and then we will have our brand new day!

You should have let Altantuya lived. You should have left Perak alone. Of course Sodomy Two was just sheer lunacy – a ticking time bomb now waiting to explode in your face. When you attack a person on a personal basis make sure that your own personal life is without blemish! Let others who are without sin cast the first stone…and you will not find anyone in UMNO who can do!

Everything seems to be imploding and UMNO no longer has anytime to do what it does best – making money to fill the deep pockets of you, those so called first tier Bumiputra in UMNO and your cronies!

UMNO has already left itself open and having to fight rearguard actions on too many fronts. Altantuya, Saiful, Taib Mahmud, Ibrahim Ali, MCA, MIC…and the list goes on.

Whether you are UMNO or Pakatan Rakyat. Whether you are for Mahathir or for Anwar. Whether you believe that MACC is doing a good job or not we all know this. Malaysians are not happy at the way things are in their country. Methinks they hold you, UMNO and Barisan Nasional responsible for this dismal state of affairs.
