A Timely Reminder From Pak Arshad

Dear All,
Just to remind you that while we must not lose sight of the 1MDB scandal involving MO1, we must also not lose sight of this two main actors in the scandal i.e. Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil and Suboh Md. Yassin. The very fact that the two had gone into hiding, reportedly in Indonesia is sufficient proof that all others named in the scandal are guilty of fraud, mismanagement and corruption in 1MDB and its related companies. Please keep talking about the 1MDB scandal and do not for once let the other corruption cases invloving UMNO leaders of past and present derailed your thoughts away from the biggest scandal ever i.e. 1MDB scandal

Chairman Lembaga Tabung Haji die standing!

Steadyaku47 comment : The following is Pak Arshad's comment to the story below in The Malaysian Insider questioning the ability of the Chairman of Tabung Haji to understand the intricacies of a financial reserve policy as raised by PKR Rafizi Ramli.....Yes the Chairman is that black Tamil with the songkok down there...click here for The Malaysian Insider article:

If truth be told I too would not be able to explain the financial reserve policy that Tabung Haji should adopt...but then I am NOT the Chairman of Tabung Haji!

Here you are......what can depositors expect from a Chairman who is better known for selling used cars (I was told) than manage a huge fund like LTH. I wonder if the Chairman knows how to formulate a financial reserve policy that was requested by BNM which was ignored, and the request was again repeated by BNM late last year. It is worthless telling the Chairman how to manage LTH fund because I have serious doubt that he has acquired enough financial acumen or 'financial wizardry' to even answer the question raised by BNM regarding the financial status of LTH. I don't expect the Chairman to even understand the questions raised by Rafizi as to "how does LTH handles reserves". This country is never short of personalities that are expert at managing huge fund, but why of all person appoint this Baling MP as LTH Chairman who may not even know how many zeroes are there in a billion. I think he could do better in managing a used car company.

Explain how you handle reserves, PKR tells Tabung Haji chairman

Tabung Haji has yet to come up with a proper policy on how it handles its reserves, and PKR wants the fund's chairman Datuk Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim to explain. – The Malaysian Insider file pic, February 11, 2016.Tabung Haji has yet to come up with a proper policy on how it handles its reserves, and PKR wants the fund's chairman Datuk Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim to explain. – The Malaysian Insider file pic, February 11, 2016.Lembaga Tabung Haji must explain to the public its financial reserves policy, follwing Bank Negara's request that the haj fund should come up with one, PKR's Rafizi Ramli said today.
Rafizi said throughout the debate on the fund's finances over the last month, many missed the fact that Bank Negara had actually written to it on December 19, 2014, advising Tabung Haji to come up with a comprehensive reserves policy.
"It goes to show that this issue was actually raised by Bank Negara more than a year ago but there was no concrete actions taken by Tabung Haji chairman Datuk Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim.

Pa Arshad : An Old Soldier Speaks ...again.

I think Hisham is overreacting to the statement by the rulers by telling us not to be "presumptuous that the Malay rulers have lost trust in Najib". In the first instant, he should not have made such a statement.

I wish to say this to Hisham.......had the Malay rulers had full trust and confidence in Najib's leadership, they would not have come out with such a strong statement. You see, the Malay rulers would not say, let alone interfere with the administration of the country if all is well.

The statement by the Malay rulers is something unusual, and I think they were force to issue the statement after having noted that the 1MDB scandal and the RM2.6 billion is the cause of the problems faced by nation today. Hisham must accept that he too is complicit to the problems fronting the nation caused by the scandals.

Don’t presume Malay rulers have lost trust in Najib, says Hishammuddin - The Malaysian Insider ....It is presumptuous to say the Malay Rulers have lost trust in Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's leadership when they called for transparency…

steadyaku47 comment : Pa Arshad is too kind in his comment...I only have this to add.
