You and Najib are suppose to be the Crème de la crème of the Malays if not of all Malaysian...but instead what you two do in the name of government shames not only the Malays and Malaysians but surely, also both your parents! As I have said before about you...sometimes the good genes from our parents skips a generation or two...and you and Najib are the perfect example of that happening!

Cukup lah Din....as I have said in my opening remarks..."Din....aku Melayu!"....dan aku tahu orang Melayu tidak akan selamatkan Umno di PRU terdekat ini!

Woo Haa!!! Another Brave Malay Warrior (NOT!).

I’m not afraid of Isis kidnap threats, says Hishammuddin - The Malaysian Insider
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein today said that he was neither afraid nor scared by the reported attempts by the Islamic State of Iraq…
themalaysianoutsider.com

steadyaku47 comment : Another brave Malay warrior who is fearless in the face of kidnap threats from ISIS! Hail to the Malay Warrior! Hail to this Din guy who declares that he is prepared to stand unflinching in the face of almost certain death (yes that is what usually happen to those who are kidnapped by ISIS).

Really Din? You are really not afraid?

Forget ISIS,  because if they ever decide to go for you, you will not have time to be afraid. You might have time to wet your pants when you realize that ISIS already have you in their grasps....nothing more. Then you are dead meat!

Can that Twit of an IGP produce any credible evidence and put that evidence onto the public domain for the rakyat to judge for ourselves the veracity of these claims by these politicians that they are the targets of ISIS?
Or are these all grandstanding by politicians bereft of anything else to bolster their pathetic images except grandiose lies that even their own supporters question?
All of them now reduced to fighting for their political life and conjuring non-existing tales of threats and danger from anywhere in their attempt to win public sympathy. Huh!
Woi Din ....stop making a fool of yourself. Like that cousin of yours, you are no warrior who will not flinch in the face of threats and danger. You may think back to that so-called moment of glory when you wave that Kris in the air and brayed for Chinese blood.with much smugness at your "courage" for doing so......but when push comes to shove....ptui....like the proverbial dog, you will only turn and run with your tail in between your legs!

And the last word from Christina.....

Christina S. Suntai
Christina S. Suntai .....I heard ISIS is no garbage collector.

Umno's Intelligent Leadership? ....ptui!

Malaysia On Top Of The World Thanks To Umno’s ‘Intelligent Leadership’, Says Hishammuddin

PETALING JAYA— Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein extolled his own party’s leadership today for succeeding in putting Malaysia on the world stage in a glowing light despite the many trials and tribulations faced within the past one year. Read More...

Now read what the world thinks of that "intelligent leadership" by our most "intelligent leader" Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.....

Najib Razak at risk of isolation amid Malaysian corruption scandal

Malaysian prime minister needs to prepare himself as rivals within his party jostle to outmanoeuvre him

Praba Ganesan in Kuala Lumpur

Friday 9 October 2015 23.01 AEDT

Malaysia is a country in turmoil. The country’s prime minister, Najib Razak, is alleged to have performed daylight robbery with the depositing of $700m (£456m) into his personal bank account.

The FBI and police in Hong Kong have launched investigations as the worst crisis of Najib’s career unfolds. Swiss authorities have frozen millions of dollars in bank accounts linked to 1Malaysia Development Berhad, the state development fund at the centre of the corruption allegations.

And now the nation’s powerful sultans have broken both their silence and their non-political stance to call for a swift investigation into 1MBD.

Najib has denied taking any money and has launched a campaign to disarm his critics. Cabinet ministers who have openly doubted him have been sacked, the media have been suppressed and outspoken politicians have been repeatedly chastised.

In August, when Kuala Lumpur was full of thousands of protesters wearing yellow – the adopted colour of protest against Najib’s rule – Zahid Hamidi, the deputy prime minister, banned the colour. The name of the movement which organised the rally, Bersih, was also banned. Bersih means clean in Malay and the movement was formed in 2007 to champion freer and fairer elections.
Bersih activists gather on a main road in the capital during a rally in August.
Amid this tumult, Najib appeared to be down for the count, but not out, and some now believe his opponents may regret a missed opportunity. His current respite is due to lukewarm opposition within his party, United Malay Nationalists Organisation (UMNO), which leads 12 coalition partners, and a fortuitous breakup of the main opposition group, Pakatan Rakyat. The rest of the country, however, has been consumed by little else. Malaysia is the current chair of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean), the economic bloc for the region. But it spent most of 2015 defending its administration and the ringgit, Asia’s worst-performing currency.

Najib’s mortal threat definitely lies inside the party, where Muhyiddin Yassin – whom he dismissed as his deputy prime minister – lies in wait. There is also his potential nemesis, ally-turned-foe and former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad, who has led calls for Razak to step aside.

Fearing them, Najib has avoided directed confrontation – he has met Muhyiddin only once, and sent a legal notice to Mahathir’s ally, the former minister Ling Liong Sik, instead of him for casting aspersions on him. Although Muhyiddin continues to express love for the party and the national coalition, opposition parties are looking at him and other naysayers to act as key partners against Najib.
Dangers lurk for the prime minister. But he has a few cards to play. On Tuesday, Malaysia’s courts ruled the government could continue to use a sedition act dating back to the British empire – a law used to charge around 30 anti-Najib politicians and activists.
Such a sledgehammer blow may unbalance Najib’s detractors, but it could backfire if it leads to further instability, possibly resulting in Najib cutting a solitary figure.
Praba Ganesan is chief executive at KUASA, a Malaysian NGO using volunteerism to increase political engagement in the country.

Pa Arshad : An Old Soldier Speaks ...again.

Mohd Arshad Raji Raji

I think Hisham is overreacting to the statement by the rulers by telling us not to be "presumptuous that the Malay rulers have lost trust in Najib". In the first instant, he should not have made such a statement.

I wish to say this to Hisham.......had the Malay rulers had full trust and confidence in Najib's leadership, they would not have come out with such a strong statement. You see, the Malay rulers would not say, let alone interfere with the administration of the country if all is well.

The statement by the Malay rulers is something unusual, and I think they were force to issue the statement after having noted that the 1MDB scandal and the RM2.6 billion is the cause of the problems faced by nation today. Hisham must accept that he too is complicit to the problems fronting the nation caused by the scandals.

Don’t presume Malay rulers have lost trust in Najib, says Hishammuddin - The Malaysian Insider ....It is presumptuous to say the Malay Rulers have lost trust in Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's leadership when they called for transparency…

steadyaku47 comment : Pa Arshad is too kind in his comment...I only have this to add.

PDRM SOP not done to a T

Tung Shin incident: ‘Making mountain out of molehill’

Patrick Lee
 | October 5, 2011

KUALA LUMPUR: Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein downplayed the heavy-handed police action at the Tung Shin Hospital during the July 9 Bersih 2.0 rally.
According to the minister, the matter was just one out of six or seven incidents that took place on that day.
“There is a spin that it looks as though the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) of the police… are at fault. This is just one incident,” he told reporters at the Parliament lobby today.
“The fact is that they are looking at one particular incident, relating to internal disciplinary action based on SOP, to me, is like making a mountain out of a molehill.”
He was asked to comment on a Health Ministry probe which found that the police have overstepped their SOP boundaries by firing tear gas and water cannons at protesters in the hospital compound.

steadyaku47 comment:
Din this is not making a mountain out of a molehill...there are already mountains of lies and abuses you and your Barisan Nasional goons have build over all these years...and this Tung Shin incident is another one to add to that mountain. I would agree that this Tung Shin incident is no different than the other incidents in the past because in all these incidents the Standard Operating Procedure for you is to stand in front of us and LIE!

....and talking about SOP...just this once I would also have to agree with Din that it is NOT normal for PDRM to just use tear gas and water cannons. PDRM forgot to whack the people they found in the hospital compound...the doctors and the nurses....because if they did then PDRM would have performed their Standard Operating Procedure to a T.

This is no spin Din...the spin will come when you find yourself dizzy when you fall helter skelter from your Rumah Ministry into the abyss of defeat after the 13th general elections...or when Najib is ousted...which ever comes first!

The Last of the Onn's?

To the Chinese it is popular adage that family wealth never lasts more then three generations. The first generation will start the business. The second generation will consolidate it. And when the third generation comes the wealth goes.

How close a parallel is this to reality with the Onn family. Dato Onn started UMNO and begun his entry into Malaysian politics. The legacy he left was ably shouldered by his son Tun Hussein Onn – one of our most revered Malay leaders whose service to our nation was cut short by ill health. And now comes his third generation ..this Din guy…and all is lost.

In this third generation of the Onns manifested in this Din guy there is none of the moral fiber that his grandfather had. None of the disdain for the trappings of position and power that his grandfather eschewed. His grandfather was brave enough to stand up for his beliefs against the British without the need of a keris. His grandfather was focused in wanting to “betulkan” the Malays and yet he left UMNO because UMNO would not open its doors to the non Malays! Truly this Onn Jaafar was a man who loved the Malays as anyone would loved one’s own people and yet understood the need for all the other races to be one under UMNO. How could you not respect and revere this Dato' Onn?

Then Dato Onn’s son and this Din’s father became Prime Minister of Malaysia. Hussein Onn’s as the eldest son of Dato Onn was acutely aware of the legacy that preceded him – that his father was a Menteri Besar of Johor and the first President and founder of UMNO. This quiet man is much respected and loved by all Malaysians and we are better for having him as our Prime Minister. Who could forget his courage to prosecute Harun Idris for corruption at the risk of factionalizing the Malays? He was fearless in his fight against corruption and money politics in UMNO.

And then along come this Din guy!

Totally unable to understand the legacy he was born into. While his grandfather had resigned because UMNO would not admit non Malays into the party, Din took it upon himself to arrogantly wave the keris in a cheap and garish display in support of Ketuanan Melayu when he was UMNO youth’s leader. While his father Hussein Onn stood for doing the right thing even at the expense of Malay unity (as in his pursuing of Dato Harun Idris for corruption) this Din is the personification of an idiot throwing his Ministerial weight around to show people that he is in charge and is too ready to use the ISA and the Police to his own political advantage.

An arrogant Malay with power to boot! Power is vested in him temporarily by those who have voted him in. Power that will no longer be there once he is out of office. These are the kind of UMNO “leaders” who trade on the legacies of their families and having profited from this legacy, proceeded to shame not only his family legacy but also us Malays! This is one Malay we can do without. Let us see where his loyalties lies when push comes to shove. When he has to make choices to ensure his political survival. If the past is any reference I hold little hope for his ability to further his family legacy in the manner that Dato Onn and Hussein Onn would have wished. I hope that we will be rid of this Din when our country elects those whom we want to lead us. This Din may truly be the last of the Onn’s during my lifetime.
