BABI NAK RASUAH!

I saw this video on MIMPI SENJA blog site. Anger, shame and an overwhelming sense of betrayal overcame me as I see this BABI (or Policeman if you want to be polite and give him his due) bring shame to me as a Malay, embarrassment to me as Malaysian by asking for bribes from a Singaporean and most of all a confirmation that corruption and SAYA NAK RASUAH is alive and well in the BABI community...or as you all know it...PDRM!

And it is all done as part and parcel of their every day activities...so smooth, so practised  and so confident of himself that he will get what he asks for!

This Babi is asking and getting SATU RATUS RINGGIT. This is not only daylight robbery but this is how those with any power in Malaysia can extort money from the public and are doing so at will because they get away with it. You can see how many BABI are deployed in this operation - not stopping one car at a time but many many cars at any one time. Can you imagine the amount of money they rake in?

In the thousands in a day......and yet I am sure that what they collect in the whole month from us unfortunate motorists still dwarfs what their Senior Officers, their IGP and what their Ministers rake in a week from their collection from God knows who else!

No less a person then our Prime Minister should see this as a blight upon the good name of our country because this will by now, be all over Singapore. This will, by now be discussed and talk over by Singaporeans during their coffee breaks, meals and anytime they get together with each other...and every time I can just picture them give that knowing nod of the head and a wry smile that confirms  "I told you they are a corrupt lot" sentiments that they have always had about not only the Malaysian Politicians, but the Malaysian Babi and by inference all us Malaysians. Malu lah Najib. Where to hide our face...

Najib go and get the whole bunch of those BABI's that was involved in that operation on that day. Get the Ketua Pegawai Polis of that state to do it now and without fear of favor suspend each and every one of them and remove this shame from our midst. ...at least Singapore can see that you will not tolerate this blight upon our good name...though they know it is all a PR exercise on your part...do it so that at least we, the people of Malaysia can hold our head high and tell any Singaporean we meet that our Prime Minister has done his duty!

Do this now...do this to show us that you too are embarrassed by the actions of these BABI in clouding the good name of our country by this corrupt act of taking money from a visitor to our shores.....do it or we will never be able to recover from this shame....

CAN EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU THAT VISIT THIS SITE PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE COPY THIS AND SEND IT ALL OVER OUR COUNTRY TO ANY ONE YOU KNOW . DO IT PLEASE BECAUSE THIS IS ABOUT THE ONLY WAY WE CAN GET NAJIB TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT..SHAME HIM INTO DOING SOMETHING RIGHT FOR ONCE.

AND AS FOR THE IGP....THE MOTHER OF ALL THE BABI'S...LET US SEE WHAT HE WILL DO....LET US WAIT AND SEE....

  1. PDRM has lost people's respect because of incidents like this. Ask any motorists in Malaysia and chances are high that they have had experienced such ulterior motive at roadblocks. Not sure if you know about how Patrick Teoh got into trouble when he was hosting Radio 4, highlighted a case of the police asking whether the motorist wanted his own test for alcohol level. PDRM was under IGP Rahim Noor then.

Singaporeans know full well that they will get flagged down by police, yet they will do so because to them, it was like being liberated when they travel by road in Malaysia. Rm100 to them is just over S$40, a small price to pay for the fun of speeding. There is also the chance of not being caught. A British who is on Malaysia My Second Home program, related to us that he knew exactly what to do when he was caught without his licence or when he was not belted. But he lacked finesse when he showed his money openly and the constable had to tell him to be more discreet!

  2. I was told by a rookie cop once that all the money they collect is pooled and distributed. If any cop doesn't want to take bribe they still give him payout which puts lot of pressure on him/her to become corrupt. The cash is given in envelope on pay day and is usually 2-3 times more than their official pay. The government are allowing this practice to subsidise how cops are paid. As you say Pak Hussein, very, very shameful

  3. This is a typical conversation of any Police Road block involving Malaysia drivers:-
Police : Encik you sudah salah tadi !
Driver : Tuan! Boleh tolong kah?
Police : Boleh, jikalau you Boleh bagi kertas dengan "muka Agong" di atas!
If the driver is willing, the negotiation ensues.......

  7. Sir,

The Government do not do anything about corruption not because of the lack of evidence but it IS THE PRESENT culture.

  8. This is SOP, I was "chased" by a fat BABI on a kapcai after I crossed a junction when the light turned amber, and he spinned a cock & bull story that he was so truamatised by me cutting in front of him (when he was yet to start moving from his stationary position), and he kept saying that he needed a drink (minum) to calm his palpitating heart. With him being so frank and upfront I handed him 20 ringgit but he pushed my hand back into the car and took the money before he scotted off to buy his dinner I guess. Malaysia Boleh!

  9. Anon can say the singaporean was actually the babi and i tend to agree she was indeed a babi and indeed a good babi who believes it is more bless in giving than in taking instead of making a standoff with a straight forward bribe taker policeman. If you said the singaporean was the babi in giving the bribe then the policeman who takes from a babi without having to flex his muscles must be worse than a babi. We have seen other visuals of a more rude bribe taker policemen and all in all we see that no matter how many times this government improved police salary it has never changed the habitual takers from keep taking the bribes, as long as all we babis are living in a country ruled by big babis.

  10. Heard a story where there's this collection box and everyone will deposit the day's "rezeki" into it.
At the end of the week, there's about 50k inside and everyone will get their share according to rank.
If this is true, does the IGP get his split too?

  11. Welcome to Bolehland, 1Malaysia, where such BABI-activities are the norm of the day! And it's all a case of "lu tolong gua, gua tolong lu" - sounds familiar?

  12. what's wrong with babi anyway? they are just farm animals. Why compare these people with harmless pigs? These people are devils

  13. If we were to forward this video, we could be arrested under the SEDITION ACT. YB, when u were a MP/Adun, u should have moved for the abolishment of the Sedition Act.
If one makes noise, one will be arrested.
I was recently at the police station. The Sgt asked me, so what do u want to do. We wont be able to recover ur goods. Unless ... I then did the investigations using a PI, and then returned with the results. He said that you, and no further action.

  16. I had an incident in JB as a passenger. We drove towards a dead end and tried to reverse but was met by a polis car and they stopped us. The polis asked for and got to see my brother's IC but I refused and told him that unless he formally charged me or booked me for an offence there is no way I was showing him my IC. I argued that he has no right, until and unless he charged me. He was arguing with my brother who tried to calm him down and there was no way I was budging. I then told him that the 'kedai kopi TUTUP', in my best Bahasa. This happened on 30.03.2011 when I was back for my short hols. They let us go in the end.

  18. NEVER TRUST THOSE BABIS IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR RANKS. A FEW YEARS AGO THERE WAS A CRIMINAL GROUP OPERATING IN MY TOWN UNTER THE PROTECTION OF THE INSPECTOR OF THE SS DEPARTMENT. I WROTE A LETTER TO CID CHIEF OF BUKIT AMAN TO INFORM HIM. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? AFTER 2 WEEKS I WAS CONFONTED BY ONE GANGSTER WHO TOLD ME NOT TO ASK FOR TROUBLE. I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO DENY THAT I WAS THE COMPLAINNANT. GUESS WHAT? HE TOLD ME THAT THE CONTENT OF THAT LETTER AND ADDED THAT THE MY NAME AND ADDRESS WAS IN THAT LETTER. I WAS STUPID ENOUGH TO HEED THE CALL OF THE IGP TO BECOME THE EYES AND EARS OF THE POLICE TO FIGHT CRIME. I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH WAS PAID TO THE BABI FROM BUKIT AMAN TO STOOP SO LOW? AT THE MOMENT A BIG CASINO IS OPERATING UNDER THE PROTECTION OF THE POLICE. ANY PERSON CAN WALK IN AND OUT OF THAT CASINO AND IT HAS BEEN OPERATING FOR AT LEAST 2 YEARS. IF THEY ARE NOT BABIS SUCH THING WOULD NEVER HAPPENED. THE BOTTOM LINE IS NEVER TRUST THOSE BABIS IN BLUE.

  20. Try a making an accident report at Sri Alam, Johor's police station.
Investigating officer i.e. the Sargent will ask you for RM100 in his room and directly put the money into his drawer. They have no worry at all. If your don't give, they will issue a Rm300 summon or make life difficult for you. Give and everything is easy and they also willingly help you.

  23. Steadyaku47,

I dont understand why you are so surprised and ashamed?

    Have you just woke up?

Corruption has been going on for years. The incident shown in the video is a non-event. If I will to write about my experience facing corruption first-hand it will be a long story.

Collectively, the corruption by lower rank of officers cannot match the amount by those in the corridor of power.

I have no regrets leaving Malaysia years ago.

  25. I was caught for talking on mobile phone and the police demanded RM100. I asked him why so much! He gave a straight answer " Saya punya boss makan berjuta-juta, saya makan sikit saja, ini pun sebab belanja diKL gaji tak cukup!

  26. PDRM, use your imagination to get out of this one. This is much more difficult than the Tung Shin excuses.

  27. The cops just follow the culture of the BN leaders. Follow the leader mentality

  28. To me this is tantamount to stealing from the government. They could have just issued a traffic offense but choose to pocket the money instead. This is no secret. Ask any motorist in Malaysia. If the IGP doesn't know this he's not fit for the job. Him turning a blind eye is because either he profit from this operation or he's also busy stealing huge amounts from other sources

  29. Najib mana berani ambil tindakan ?? Najib sendiri pon kuat rasuah !!

  30. AK47, from your emphatic response, it looks as if this a new phenomenon.

Hey, everyone knows this has been going on since independent.

Are you really surprised?? Do you think Najib does not know that this has been going on? Only now, as a Malaysian you are malu!

  32. You guys may not know whats going on just before the Malaysian Immigration on the Malaysian side. Two cops are perpetually under the flyover just before entering immigration checkpoint. Their sole purpose is to catch motorist who accidentally wonder into the motorcycle lane and demand RM$200. They must make thousands a day. I was a victim because the sign posting leading to immigration is deliberately vague. On one lane it says "Motorkar/Bus" and the lane besides it said "Singapore/Woodlands". I took the "Singapore" Lane and was flagged down. The cop said it was for motorcylist. All the cop had to do if he intended to do his duty was to stand 50 meters ahead and guide motorist to the correct lane. I guess these cops feel that is not their duty.

  33. Do Singaporeans bribe the policeman when caught breaking the traffic rule in Singapore? Why should Singaporeans do the bribing in Malaysia and then complain? One should follow the speed limit and the signs are quite clear. When caught speeding, pay the fine and stop complaining!

Have anyone of you heard of D7?, every BABI HQ has one, in rakes in millions a month, no need to go out and collect bribes like the small fries, the hotels health centers, the cyber cafes, the massage centers, the callgirl centers, the illegals 4 digits centers, the gangster pays them to get protections from raids and charges,as they come in bags every week.
