To me Zaid is an enigma. Yes this guy is
now one of those people in Malaysia that are identifiable just by their first
name: ZAID….Anwar,Mahathir,Najib,Muhyiddin, Rosmah…. And if he thinks he is in
August company…I think not! Methinks this Zaid allows his heart to rule his
head more often then necessary….which is good and bad.
It is good when you are in UMNO because
while your mind understands the need to be complicit with your peers in UMNO
while plundering the national coffers dry, your heart knows it is wrong. So
with UMNO it is good that you followed your heart and took yourself out of UMNO
for that is the right thing to do.
It was bad when you were in PKR. Once you
understood the culture within PKR and the cult of Anawarism I say that your head
should have ruled you, not your heart. Your heart will tell you that what is
happening within PKR party’s election was wrong but if you were determined to
effect change within Pakatan Rakyat there is no other platform but PKR for you.
PAS and DAP will not take you in once you leave PKR – they have a one for all
and all for one methodology in the way they do things – for self survival. At
that point of time you were expandable. Anwar was not. So I say in PKR your
head should have ruled you!
So a word of advise. There are times when
you need to let your heart rule your actions but where you are now – in the
thick of Malaysian politics – use your head more than you use your heart. All
that you can hope for is that you make the right choices when it matters.
Me? I go with my heart …always with my
heart. ..but then I do not have as much to lose as you do…. C'est la vie
