(Bernama) BATU PAHAT: Deputy Prime Minister
Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has lashed out at Malays who questioned government
policies, saying such actions could pose a threat to the struggles of Umno and
Barisan Nasional.
Din let
us be clear on one thing. The struggles of UMNO and Barisan Nasional is YOUR
desperate struggle to hold on to power at all costs – NOT the struggle of the
Malays. If you expect us Malays to support your struggle to keep buying RM$500
shirts then you must think we Malays are idiots!
He
said that these groups of Malays had been questioning the position of the Malay
Rulers, the Malay language as the national language and the efforts to enhance
the economic well-being of the Malays.
The
Sultans are no longer the Sultans. UMNO are the sultans now. You have more
power then them, more money then them and you do as you like with them – giving
them ‘business opportunity’ like the building of the King Palace when it suits
you – and to keep the Sultans beholden to UMNO. As for the national language – are
you empowering Dewan Bahasa to do the necessary or are you just using the
Bahasa issue to marginalize the other races for your own gain? As for you
concern for the economic well-being of the Malays....two words…first letter of
first word is F….First letter of the second word is Y.
"The
Malays should be united under one umbrella to ensure the agenda to develop them
is achieved."We
will never be able to achieve it if we are disunited," he said when
opening the Parit Sulong Umno division meeting here Sunday.Muhyiddin
said these groups of Malays supported the Opposition, particularly the DAP. "The
DAP labelled me as 'ultra Malay' for fighting for the interests of the Malays
when, in fact, it is (DAP parliamentary leader) Lim Kit Siang who is more racist,"
he said.
The
Malays were united under UMNO once. You developed yourself not the Malays! Yes
we support the DAP just like the Chinese are supporting PKR and PAS – yes the
Chinese are supporting PAS because being the practical people that they are …they
know it is easier to do business in Kelantan under PAS then anywhere else under
BN! The “costs” of doing business under BN is too high! Please do not label
yourself as “ultra Malay”…you give the other “ultra” a bad name. When you have
spend some time under ISA as Kit Siang as done – then go call yourself an “ULTRA”
The
Umno deputy president said that in this challenging situation, the Malays,
especially Umno, should unite and double efforts not only to strengthen the
party but also in implementing the transformation plan so that Umno would
continue to be accepted by the people.
You
are right here. UMNO need to transform itself. But how to transform when the
only thing they understand is MONEY. And with money you know that if you pay
peanuts…you get monkeys. And here is the thing …I know UMNO does not pay
peanuts…but you still get monkeys! So apa macham?
He
also called for continuous efforts to improve the party, saying the
transformation plan to face the coming 13th general election had not been
moving as speedily as it should be at the divisional level. He
said party members should carry out the transformation process to make the
party relevant to the Malays and the people in general. – Bernama

Mudfaced Muhyiddin has spoken like a true relic of history.
ReplyDeleteI have only one word for this idiot. It is a Malay word starting with the letter L. Having said so, I profoundly apologise to all the cows in this world.
ReplyDeleteTaikohtai
Struggle for Malay ?
ReplyDeleteThen how come after so many donkey years in power , there are still so many rural Malays who are destitute and down-trodden ?
