US$24m ring returned after ‘a few days’, minister tells Parliament
I remember very clearly then when the above story broke quite some time back, my first reaction was a sense that this time those bloggers have gone a bit too far accusing our FIRST LADY of buying a ring worth US$24m. I made that point in a posting I did secured in the knowledge that even Rosmah was not that stupid to even think about buying a ring that could build about 1000 low costs houses!
And now it seems that truth is stranger then fiction! Can she really have thought about buying a US$24m ring? She must have or else why should she have it brought over to KL for a look see? Is she mad? Is she unable to comprehend what doing something as stupid as buying a US$24m ring would do to her husband's position as Prime Minister? She is giving the Prime Ministership to Muhyiddin on a silver platter!

It is strange. Would you send a RM24 million diamond from New York to Malaysia just for "display" without a firm order or intention to buy?
