Now it's too late......

People who are being shot at make mistakes…and right now the primary target of Barisan Nasional is DSAI …so what mistake is he making? 

Thinking that the costs to BN of putting him behind bars are too high a risk for Najib to take may be one! Thinking that he could remain relevant to Pakatan Rakyat’s needs if incarcerated would be another. Either way DSAI really have no other choice but to think those thoughts. Anything else would mean that he accepts the inevitability of him being no longer relevant to Pakatan Rakyat once he is in jail.

Now what will Pakatan Rakyat do?

Pakatan Rakyat have had their contingency plan from way back. They will do nothing until the verdict is out. Not guilty the status quo remains. Guilty and Pas will step into the breach! 

My regret is that DSAI did not move earlier when he could have made a difference to what is to come after his incarceration. Now time or the lack of it, will not allow him to do anything. Hindsight is not a gift God has chosen to give to politicians in copious amounts…sparingly, always very sparingly!

Sometimes we think ourselves invincible to the ravages of time and other people’s ill will towards us. At times we think ourselves above and beyond the reaches of our adversaries….but always however high we fly, we still need to come down to earth. And when they do then these leaders will once again walk amongst us and understand the need to be humble and respectful of all of God’s creatures.

This will be true of DSAI when he stands before the judge as his verdict is delivered. It will be true of Najib. Muhyiddin and Mahathir when their time comes to face our verdict of their time spent in government. But that will be in the future …for now they still reign supreme…but only for a moment. Only for moment!
