Mukhriz posted a photo of his visit on his Instagram account and wished Ahmad Bashah, who had been out of duty due to medical reasons, would have a full recovery.
"Visiting the menteri besar who is, Alhamdulillah, getting better and will resume work tomorrow. May he fully recover, inshaa Allah," read the photo caption.
Ahmad Bashah had reportedly blacked out while attending a meeting at the Hotel Grand Alora, Alor Setar on June 4, before being rushed to the Kedah Medical Centre.
He was referred to the Penang Hospital the following day, where he underwent surgery due to intestinal complications.
