The Agong and the Sultans are beholden to Umno for their allowances, palaces, Rolls Royces....whatever they have, whatever they enjoy and whatever they will need financially to survive in the manner that they have been accustomed to....all are in the hands of Umno to do as Umno pleases.
How would any of them survive without their Royal Purse?
And should PPBM takes government in the next general election the same situation will still prevail....unless you and your peers decide to do with the Sultans what India have done with their Maharajahs many many years ago......something you and your collegues may well want to consider given what is now happening in Malaysia today.
Saya rasa the best thing to do would be to just put them on a pension....that would be the decent thing to do...camna?
Each and every one of you will have your own thoughts, hopes, and aspiration of the recent meet between the ageing Agong and the ageing Tun Dr Mahathir....allow me to add my two cents worth.
Do you think his brother Sultans and the Agong himself will forget what Tun Dr Mahathir have done in the past to put Royalties in their place? As forTun Dr Mahathir he knows this is something he has to do (against all that his own common sense will tell him NOT to do) in the forlorn hope that the Agong and his brother Sultans will forget what Mahathir has done to Royalty in the past....and are now prepared to stand with Mahathir and the people of Malaysia against Najib and Umno.
And above all this is Najib. Najib pulls the strings that makes the Agong sing and/or dance to the tune that Najib and Umno wants the Agong to sing and dance to.
And we all are on the sideline knowing full well that it is all a sanidwara that already has a script written and an ending to favor Najib and Umno and yet we hope against hope that this time around, things will be different. We hope that this time around the King will do as the Rakyat wants him to do and not do what Najib and Umno wants him to do.
Please lah....cast Royalty aside in this war against the corrupt leaders of Umno and BN. Let us not waste another moment of our time with appealing to the "good sense" of these Royals to turun padang and join us in our fight against Najib and Umno. It is not going to happen. Leave the Agong and the Sultans in their Istanas and let us soldier on towards the next election less than a year away (I hope).
We have more chance of victory at the next general election than to go and mengadap and postrate ourselves in front of any Royal person in the forlorn hope that they will see our struggles as theirs, our hopes as theirs and our aspirations for a responsible and accountable government also theirs!
Sometime during my formative teen years at MCKK, I remember being told by my History Teacher that J.W.W. Birch (the first British Resident in Perak) was speared to death while taking a bath at the river in Pasir Salak by Dato Maharajalela and Pandak Endut.
Birch was murdered because he treated the Malays badly and had no regard for their culture or traditions. While he outlawed slavery he kept Malay women slaves for his personal use. He appointed government officers to take over the collection of state taxes and revenues ...a task traditionally undertaken by the Malay Chiefs. And in all matters of state, except religion, Birch's advise to the sultan was to be acted upon.
All this made the natives restless.
I remembered the story of Birch well because at that time our Headmaster was the late N.J. Ryan...the last expatriate Headmaster of MCKK. I distinctively remember thinking ..."now who would murder Mr Ryan if he did not respect the custom and traditions of the Malays in MCKK?"
Not that Mr Ryan would do anything like that for we all held him in reverence during our time at Kolet. And apart from Mr Ryan we also had a number of expatriate teachers in MCKK then ....and we held them all in high regard. Not only would we not kill those "whites" but we MCKK guys are well disciplined! Every time our Prefects told us to jump...we would respectfully ask, "How High Prefect!"
So it occurred to me then, that the two Malay chiefs, Dato Maharajalela and Pandak Endut, must have been very very angry with the British Resident and very very and courageous to have murdered the British Resident.
What would be its equivalent in these days?
The natives...that's you and me...are certainly restless!
We have already voted for Pakatan Rakyat in the last election but our right to choose our own government was taken away by "legal" gerry meandering with the eager participation of an Election Commission that closed one eye and shut the other to their responsibility of ensuring a clean, fair and open election.
Our leader, Anwar Ibrahim, and many others in the opposition have been unfairly prosecuted and persecuted and some incarcerated.
And now, like the British Resident whose advise to the Sultan had to be acted upon, this Barsian Nasional government dominated by Umno, is doing to us all what the British were doing to the Malays, the Sultans and to the Malaya of old.
The British took our Tin and our Rubber for their use not ours. Umno is pillaging and plundering our national coffers for themselves.
The British imposed upon the Sultans their political will to their own advantage. Umno have not only imposed their political will upon the Sultans but the Sultanization of Umno leaders, their spouses and their cohorts begun many years back and are continuing today with a vengeance.The Rakyat have borne the brunt of what these Umno leaders are now doing to line their own pockets and to hold on to political power.
And while the British did not interfere in the Malay religion, the BN government under Umno now takes Islam as a weapon of choice to "manage" the Muslims and "control" the non-Muslims for their own political advantage.
In all things Malaysians, Umno's control through the government and all its functionaries is total and effectively complete.
Today Umno's "advise" to the Agong and the Sultans must be acted upon - and this morning when I finally had a look at the Agong Birthday Honor's list...I ask myself if there is another Dato Maharajalela and a Pandak Endut among us all!

Betraying a good friend would be a good start. Go ask Nalla and Ezam.
Keeping cows in Condos or abusing the Rakyat's millions that have been entrusted to you would also be another way to go!
For the business guys who want another "jalan" to a Tan Sri....there is that con guy from Kazakstan whose wife is the daughter of Flom the Flop!
They can tell you "how" and "how much". Hell if her step brother can make it big in Hollywood and rub shoulders with the likes of Leonardo Di Caprio... ....why not her and that "Sandhurst trained" husband of hers?
Those wanting a Tan Sri in the business community knows that they are the "go to" guys for a Tan Sri" ...and what is the going rate? If you use her step brother "investments" in Hollywood and New York as a yardstick...the going rate for a Tan Sri is a lot.... a hell of a lot!

Perhimpunan 9 Julai bukan hak Bersih untuk menentukan jadi atau tak jadi semata-mata kerana depa gatal nak jumpa Agong dan nak bodek Agong. Perhimpunan 9 Julai hak rakyat. Kita banjirkan Kuala Lumpur dengan kebangkitan rakyat!
Tak payah berhimpun atas nama Bersih. Kita berhimpun atas nama rakyat. Kita cucikan negara ini dari mungkar terbesar di Malaysia - Umno. Pakai baju warna apa pun tak pa. Cuci!
Yang PAS pulak cakap macam bagus je. "(Batalkan perhimpunan) itu tidak berbangkit sebab Bersih tidak batalkan," kata Timbalan Presiden PAS, Haji Mohamad Sabu. Lepas tu depa qualify pulak statement tadi tu dengan berkata, "PAS bagaimanapun akan tetap menyokong keputusan yang akan diambil oleh Bersih berhubung perhimpunan berkenaan".
Sokong keputusan Bersih? Cit! Bersih dah kata, perhimpunan menuntut pilihan raya adil dan bersih pada 9 Julai ini bergantung kepada keputusan pertemuan pemimpin gabungan itu dengan Agong. Nak tanya Agong dulu boleh buat atau tidak perhimpunan yang menyebabkan Umno menggelejat gila dan buruk kelaku mengalahkan syaitan? Kepala hotak hampa!
Tunggulah sampai babi boleh terbang! Masa tu barulah Agong atau mana-mana raja Melayu akan buat atau izinkan benda yang Umno benci.
Kalau Agong tak bagi, aku dah tau dah apa depa akan kata. Depa akan kata terpaksa batalkan sebab Agong tak bagi buat. Kalau buat jugak, depa takut Umno akan kata depa derhaka. Penghujungnya, pilihan raya akan terus kotor dan tidak adil. Dan Umno akan terus berpesta derhaka kepada Allah s.w.t. dan rakyat. Maklumlah, derhaka kepada Agong tak boleh, derhaka kepada Allah tak pa.
Yang PAS pulak, kita dah boleh congak dengan mudah. Bila Agong tak bagi, Presiden PAS takkan nak lawan Agong. Itu semua orang tau. Maklumlah, dulu PAS Terengganu yang berhimpun di airport Kuala Terengganu sokong Agong ketika krisis perlantikan menteri besar selepas pilihan raya 2008. Orang PAS pun megah sangat dan bercerita sana-sini bahawa presiden depa baik dengan Agong. Dah baik dengan Agong, takkan nak buat benda yang Agong tak bagi. Bila Presiden PAS tak nak, orang PAS takkan nak lawan cakap presiden depa. Maklumlah, wala'. Ada juga orang PAS yang bagi excuse takut nak lawan cakap presiden depa sebab takut dia kena serangan jantung lagi dan pengsan dalam mesyuarat serta terpaksa dikejarkan ke hospital.
Tak mengapa Umno anjingkan kita dengan pilihan raya kotor dan tak adil Kehendak Agong mesti ikut, Kalau tak ikut Umno akan histeria kata derhaka
Apa salahnya orang Melayu derhaka kepada Allah Asal tak derhaka kepada Agong
Negara mesti aman, TV Umno kata Negara mesti tak diancam perhimpunan haram, polis kata Mesti aman, mesti tak terancam Tak kisahlah Umno anjingkan kita dengan pilihan raya kotor dan tidak adil

Itu lah kita Malaysian,semua akan jadi bodoh macam babi bila raja2 di kaitkan tak kira dalam apa2 hal sekali pun sebab takut derhaka,tapi yang paling mereka semua takut ada lah akan kehilangan anugerah pangkat dan darjat sebenar nya sebab kita semua masyarakat yang memuja pangkat dan kedudukan,jadi bila ada salah seorang raja2 membuat keyataan semua akan jadi bodoh macam lembu,tak kira umno,pas,cendiakawan2,pengarah2 jabatan,ambiga,brihim ali atau sapa2 sekali pun,semua akan menganguk memberi persetujuan sebab tak mahu derhaka kepada raja dan bagi melayu islam pula mereka lebih rela mengenkari perintah Allah taala dari menderhaka pada raja.ITU LAH KITA SEBENARNYA,SEKUMPULAN MASYARAKAT BODOH YANG OTAK NYA TAK BANYAK BEZA DARI OTAK LEMBU.
