cakap cakap...LGE and the Angkatan Tentera Malaysia

Not a good start to the weekend!

Woke up a bit late this morning.....around 7am courtesy of the tennis at Wimbledon...and that too rain stopped play...and worse...I woke up with a runny nose...courtesy of Winter. It happens without fail at the start of every Winter...runny nose and a cold. So I do what I know will help make me feel more comfortable.....a warm long sleeves thermal singlet, thick socks and a wind cheater to keep any cold air out...and I am good.

Had to go to the supermarket this morning for some groceries...fruits, vegies, butter and cat food....saw a lady with her dog sitting on the cold pavement outside the supermarket asking for some alms...had about two dollars of small change and gave her all that. Got what I needed and was back at my apartment by 9 AM.

Feeling miserable but warm.

The Chinese must be getting themselves all hot and bothered over the charging of Guan Eng with corruption by the powers that be. How powerful are the Chinese in Malaysia? Woo ha...they raise the RM1 million bail money through "donations" in less than 24 hours...and once they had the money they stopped taking "donations!"

Najib...watch and learn!

When DAP got the money they needed for LGE's bail, they stopped taking further "donations". That way no need to return any "donations" that was not needed for the purpose the "donation" was given. Habis cerita...no need for AG to confirm "donation" was return to whom so ever gave those donations....no need to to answer to anybody as to weather there was surplus "donation". No need to keep surplus donation in Kit Siangs private bank account. End of story.

Now as to whether Guan Eng is guilty or not.....I have this to say.

Remember that "Khir Toyo buying a house at a discount" story? What is sauce for the goose is also sauce for the gender ma! Maybe, in hindsight, it would have been better for LGE to have not bought the house in question....or wait for a better time to do so.....aisehman surely LGE knows a better way to make this deal happen so that it is a win win situation all around...and still give the powers that be no ammunition to hantam him. But the nasi already become bubur ...so what to do?

My advise...grin and bear it and hope that all's is well that ends well.

The other thing on my mind this morning......ATM...no lah not the machine you take money out of....I mean Angkatan Tentera Malaysia.

Where do you think ATM loyalties lies?

Yes lah we all know they swear allegiance to the AGONG and all that stuff..."It is responsible for assisting civilian authorities to overcome all international threats, preserve public order, assist in natural disasters and participate in national development programs" .....but when push comes to shove...when the chips are down...when the time comes for them to really make a choice....will we be able to depend on the ATM to do the right thing?

PROTECT THE SOVEREIGNITY OF OUR NATION, DEFEND THE PEOPLE AND MAKE A STAND AGAINST A CORRUPT AND ARROGANT GOVERNMENT?

My opinion?

ATM is about the only thing left that can and will prevent this bloody corrupt Umno led BN government from taking over the country! Two opeartive words : CAN and WILL stop this Umno led BN government from illegally taking over government before or after the next general election.

What say you?

...and do have a nice weekend while mulling over this!

Najib .....kalu rasa susah sangat nak mengurus kerajaan, keluar sajalah. Tak ada siapa pun yg memaksa tunggu disitu.

PUTRAJAYA, June 29 — It is easy for outsiders to criticise the federal government but the actual task of running an administration in a country as diverse in Malaysia is not that easy, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said today. [Malaymail on line]

Terjemahan:

najib kata senanglah bagi orang luar mengkeritik kerajaan tetapi tugas sebenar mengurus pentadbiran bagi sebuah negara yg penoh dengan kepelbagaian bukannya senang.

Saya kata:

Kalu rasa susah sangat nak mengurus kerajaan, keluar sajalah. Tak ada siapa pun yg memaksa tunggu disitu.

Kelvin Phang...Do we Dare?

steadyaku47 comment : 7.05 AM Melbourne time. Sometime last night, Kelvin posted the following comment on my post "Cakap cakap....Lim Guan Eng"  . What he tells us to think about makes sense....maybe it is time we do think about what Indonesians and the Fillipinos have dared to do....what have we to lose?

Kelvin Phang If Indonesia dares to pick a leader from the street and not from elites to champion for their rights and welfare but over in Malaysia, we dare not take the bold move. Even over in Philippines they too dare to take the risk. If Malaysians do not change their mindset, we should blame ourselves for the govt. that we have.

cakap cakap : PKR. DIVIDE AND RULE. Anwar divide. Anwar rule.

Just past 8.05 AM on a cold Winter morning in Melbourne. Cross my heart and hope to die...but I am not felling you no fibs when I tell you that all I have on me to ward off the winter chills is a sarong and a short sleeve singlet. I feel the cold swirling around my feet but the colder it gets the better I can think......and there is much to think about these days.

PKR for one.

A few days back I was sent this image of PKR's "big wig" with Muhyiddin. Why the need for these PKR guys to meet with Muhyiddin? For PKR or for their own political agenda? Are they building bridges with Mahyuddin for PKR or is it to to tell us that they are are now in the driving seat of PKR....they and Wan Azizah?

Where is Azmin? Azmin who? Azmin Ali lah...thats who!

Let me make one thing clear. I do not know Azmin Ali...never have.

These last few months I have been asked what is happening in PKR by friends and readers who think that I know what is happening in PKR. Well guys at the risk of selling myself short, I know as much about what is happening in PKR as any of you.....but all things considered, we know plenty!

Divide and rule. Divide and rule at the highest level within PKR. I have already spoken about Wan Azizah in an earlier posting "Crisis in PKR". What I have to say here is from my personal knowledge of what is going on in PKR and more relevant, from the observations of others in K Hell, in Selangor and  from within PKR itself who have "talked to me about it all.

They liken the situation within PKR to that which exists in Mexico...where drug cartels are run by drug lords from behind bars....long story short....Anwar Ibrahim still call the shots from inside Sungai Buloh......and by so doing undermines the authority of every one else.

That meeting by PKR "big wigs" with Mahyuddin was surely done at Anwar's "requests"....done at a time when everyone else is distancing themselves from Mahyuddin Yasin for reasons which will soon become clear dalam masa terdekat.

It is becoming clear who is lining up behind Wan Azizah and who is not. And also becoming abundantly clear is who is standing with Azmin Ali and who is not. Now here is the ironic twist to all this....Wan Azizah takes orders from Anwar Ibrahim and so will Azmin Ali...so why would Anwar want Wan Azizah and Azmin Ali to be on opposite sides of the PKR divide?

Observe that I said that Azmin Ali "will" take orders from Anwar. He does not have to take orders from Anwar Ibrahim because he has his own power base within PKR...but for now he "will" take orders from Anwar because he is loyal, to a fault, to Anwar.

As long as Wan Azizah and Azmin Ali are kept apart by Anwar,  both will look to Anwar for "guidance"...and that keeps Anwar relevant. (Anwar's logic not mine!)

In all things PKR, especially in the choice of candidates to represent PKR, Anwar decides. So interested candidates lobbies Anwar and do deals with Anwar and if selected, do Anwar's bidding...and damm PKR!

Anwar appoints members to PKR's political bureau. PKR has got the largest number of members in any party's political bureau...UMNO included!

Everything in PKR is negotiable. Everything! Anwar Ibrahim is the "go to" person to negotiate in any of these issues. No body else counts......not the President ...not the Deputy president....not anybody else!

PKR is Anwar's party...but for how long?

The situation in PKR today is untenable because Anwar makes it so. Anwar Ibrahim will soon run out of people in PKR who will do his bidding. ...or for that matter he will run out of people anywhere he can use to do his bidding.

 Azmin Ali included!

Maybe we need a Duterte?
