Today is a momentous day for Malaysia. We came in all races; we walked together; we braved water cannons, tear gas, batons and handcuffs. The police simply couldn't get the upper hand over the crowd. Let it be very clear. The crowd controlled itself. The police tried and tried to incite violence but the crowd stayed resolutely peaceful. Bersih, Bersih, Bersih! Hidup, hidup, hidup. Hidup Rakyat!
