Indeed. Looking from point of hindsight one can be judgmental. All facts are there for one to dissect and give conclusions. It would be good if you come up with constructive arguments to present and future scenarios on the Malaysian political landscape. At least, that way we can see if you are not just another RPK.
1. I am looking/commenting/dissecting past events so i am looking with hindsight - and drawing my own conclusions of what has passed. 2.The present scenario that Malaysians find themselves in is directly attributable to UMNO and Mahathir - and it is a fait accompali -done deal. Nothing can be done. 3. As for the future - I want to work towards change not neccessarily Pakatan Rakyat - but certainly not UMNO. Can you suggest any other options if not PR? 4. Am I another RPK? Financially i wish i was...but in all other things I do not know him well enough to comment. Regards.
If we do not know where we are coming from, how do we know where we are going? It is in analysing history that we do not repeat the mistakes when charting our future. If a doctor cannot identify the cause of a disease he cannot prescribe a curative treatment and will merely be treating the symptoms. RPK and HH are revealing the causes and suggested remedies like eliminating corruption, revamping the police & the judiciary and adopting meritocracy etc. Are these not constructive arguments? Unfortunately they are not in the corridors of power to make changes. Are the people in power prepared to take corrective action? No. And as far as I can see, they are merely perpetuating the rot at an accelerating rate.
