cakap cakap ....donplaypuks

donplaypuks® has left a new comment on your post "Getting away with MURDER !":

Patience and perseverence are the keys to victory over UMNO/BN.

I don't buy all these 'hook or by crook, the army will take over' crap.

As long as we stick to the law, democracy and ahimsa(non-violence)
we will get there.

No evil regime can withstand the onslaught and might of honest citizens!!

  1. The only problem now is despite everything UMNO and Barisan Najis have done, at least 50% of the citizens in Malaysia is still behind them.

    Solidly.

  2. sunwayopal,

If it is a problem, donplaypuks said don't fight the problem with force. PM said fight it out with the ballot box. I said can we stick to democratic means that we all have been using freedom of expression in generating support from the masses.

Let me tell you this, I will take up arms when Pakatan wins but UMNO wages war in refusing to accede the power to the people.

  3. An inspirational Mahatma Gandhi quote, which was of great comport to many in his time I am sure, and also offered hope to those at the forefront of the Hindraf movement:

When I despair, I remember that all through history
the ways of truth and love have always won. There
have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they
can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall.
    Think of it--always.

And when I despair, when I wonder just how much more UMNO/BN can seemingly get away with, I remind myself - "ALWAYS!"

  4. Yes i understand what donplaypuks is suggesting.

The power of the people is such that once united, there is no army or police force and no matter what amount of guns they have , they wont be able to stop the revolution.

My rejoinder to him is the unity part.

The people is not exactly united against the PDUM or whatever. UMNO can continue with their acts and corruption precisely becoz half the rakyat is solidly behind them.

Not too sure if you get what i am trying to drive at

  5. HOW ABOUT ORGANIZING A MASSIVE NATIONWIDE HARTAL??? THIS WILL CRIPPLE THE GOVT!!!

Hartal (also hartaal) is a term in many Indian languages for strike action, used often during the Indian Independence Movement. It is mass protest often involving a total shutdown of workplaces, offices, shops, courts of law as a form of civil disobedience. In addition to being a general strike, it involves the voluntary closing of schools and places of business. It is a mode of appealing to the sympathies of a government to change an unpopular or unacceptable decision.[1]

Hartal was originally a Gujarati expression signifying the closing down of shops and warehouses with the object of realising a demand. MK Gandhi, the Indian national leader from Gujarat organised a series of anti-British general strikes which he called hartals, thereby institutionalizing it. In Bangladesh a hartal is a constitutionally recognised political method for articulating any political demand.[2]

In Sri Lanka, it is often used to refer specifically to the 1953 hartal of Ceylon. Hartals are still common in India, Bangladesh and in northern and eastern Sri Lanka.

In Malaysia, the word "hartal" was used to refer to various general strikes in the 1940s, 50s and 60s, such as the All-Malaya hartal of 1947 and the Penang hartal of 1967.

  6. sunwayopal,

If we are not happy that half of rakyat is behind UMNO, do we see UMNO is happy to have only half now? But while UMNO keeps their half jealously to themselves, why is that we have to divide our half into many quarters?

    HARTAL !!!!!

These people must think we are stupid idiots to insult our intelligence with their version of what has happened to Tan Beng Hock.

MACC finished recording their statement from him at 3.45am and we are expected to believe that TBH did not want to go home to rest and recuperate before having to go to work the next day – but instead wanted to rest in the MACC office? Aisehman go tell that to the Marines or better still to UTK (because they believe whatever you tell them - if they are asked to go kill anybody, preferably a defenceless Mongolian lady, they will do so !!).

Why do they not do the decent thing and inform TBH boss of his demise immedietely? The answer “ I am unable to answer the question. I have to ask my officer”. Despite being a Malay, this Federal MACC director of investigations Datuk Mohd Shukri Abdul is not familiar with what doing the decent thing is all about.

Of course all relevant individuals from the Najib down will parrot the “through investigation” and “no stone unturn” mantra while they go hide under another stone.

Cukup lah. Let us show our solidarity by turning out in our thousands for the funeral of TBH. Let us go pay our respects while he lies in state in our thousands, silently and respectful of what his Family is now going through. Let us have a HARTAL (a mass protest involving a total shutdown of workplaces, offices, shops and in all things Malaysian) for a meaningful period of time to show Najib that this time things have gone too far. Let us all be together in our grief for TBH but resolute in our determination that TBH death was not in vain. That what TBH could not do while living – the overthrow of a corrupt and self serving Barisan regime, he can now do in death through us. What TBH could not do while living, the return of our right to a decent, caring and responsible Government, he can now do in death, through us. We owe him and his family at least that much. Amen.

  12. FMZam,

    I agree with you.

    We shoudld not.

We should all be solidly behind Pakatan no matter WHAT!

But we are so easily blinded whenever UMNO or UMNO sleeper agents plays with our distrusts of other people.

Chinese gets easily worked up over small irrelevant matters like concerts and beer sales. Indians gets slighted with the Buah Pala issue even though every one ended up with DSL terrace houses.

Malays are upset the chinese and indians are upset!

We all forget the main obejective. Get rid of UMNO. If I can egt rid of UMNO at Federal level for even one election, i will willingly trade off all concerts, all beer sales whatever!

We should really ask ourselves , we always talk about sacrifice but cakap task serupa bikin.

What are we willing to give up to kick out uMNO?

Are we willing to live without beeer sold openly? No more western concerts?

Thats why i say we talk, talk, talk, talk.

But over one concert issue, we whack our Pakatan partner upside down like no tomorrow.
