Like Gadaffi, the tragedy of UMNO is their inability to comprehend that everything around them is changing - everything but themselves. Sitting comfortably in PWTC with all the trappings of power and wealth surrounding them UMNO is isolated from the realities of a country and a people now against everything that UMNO stands for : Corruption, Money Politics and Arrogance.
The truth is out there but UMNO is lost in its own delusional world of make believe where they are the make believe defender of Islam fighting the infidels that threatens its existence.
The other real tragedy of UMNO is their belief that the survival of the Malays are dependent on the survival of UMNO when the truth is this: The survival of UMNO is dependent on the Malays!
What is left for UMNO leaders now is to whip the UMNO masses into a religious and racial induced frenzy to create enough mayhem and riots similar to the May 13th riots and in this way take control of the country via the declaration of another Emergency!
Let us watch all this from afar. Let us not get ourselves involved in this desperate conspiracy by UMNO to seize power by any means possible. Let UMNO go hang themselves! When they are done hanging themselves we will be rid of this cancer that has been troubling our country and our people for the last 54 years! Then a brand new day will start for all of us.....Amen.
Like you, as i watch the entire General Meeting unfold, I can only heave a sigh and wonder if Negara kita can be redeemed or saved. Sayang lah and penat betul!

A certain leader has recycled the Setia slogan into Berstia. Shouldn't a former "great" leader feel offended?
ReplyDeleteBTW, Setia was explained at the time as "loyalty with the people", whatever that is.
It is known that the former leader of Libya gave the citizens of Libya about 16 items for free. Like no income taxe, free school, US50.000 when you got married and so on. But why then did the people go against him? I have been searching for answers and finally found one. He forgot to give those goodies also to people of Banghazi who came from a different tribe.

Mr. Gadaffi was an angel compared with Mahathir and his cronies. Gadaffi did look after his people quite well.
