How does Rosmah refer to her husband? Dato' Sri say this or Dato' Sri wants that! All those wives of Tan Sri's...how do they refer to their husband? Again Tan Sri this and Tan Sri that! Even their bloody children refer to their father as Tan Sri when they are talking about their father to other people! The same with Dato' ...every chance their wife gets they will refer to their husband as Dato'.
I remember my late Auntie who refer to her husband as Che Ismail....always as Che Ismail...and he was the same Tun Ismail of Bank Negara. How I admired my auntie for doing so.
Just as I admire Nurul Izzah ...she refers to Anwar as Ayah or her Father...which is what he is! For this I salute her!

Uncle,
ReplyDeleteI am a voter in Lembah Pantai. There are 4 votes in my family. During the last GE, we all voted for Nurul. And come this next GE, we will NO DOUBT vote for Nurul again.
... and by the way, I too think Nurul has all the makings to be our future PM.
She's the real deal.....yet to be spoilt by the dirtiness of politics, why can we all just learn a thing or two from this petite lady?
ReplyDeleteDo not get carried away. Up to now she has carried the pot of milk very well. She has long journey to go without spilling the milk.
ReplyDeleteThe fruits of well upbringing from a respected family. Not only Nurul but all the siblings. And unlike most ministers children, they were all locally educated until at least they went to university.
ReplyDeleteIs it a trait among Malays? Many Malays after the Hajj will immediately refer and address their spouses as Haji or Hajjah in public i.e Pak Haji, Mak Haji or abang haji...not the plain old self. Haji mabrur?

ReplyDeleteYB Nurul. We love you,we will vote you in for sure. Promise. Let the 'cow' battle with you. We will chase it to the 'kandang.'
ReplyDeleteNurul Izzah Anwar would do ANY daddy proud! She won my love and admiration from the first time I met her in 1998 after Anwar was arrested by a commando unit in his own home and beaten black and blue by the IGP. Even at the tender age of 18 Izzah was already a confident, honest, courageous young woman with brains to match her beauty. A true princess of the rakyat.
