Enough has been said by people more informed, more learned than
me about the impending demise of Najib Razak, Rosmah Mansor and what
1MDB has to do with it all. I cannot in all honesty add to the "facts"
and the "lies" that surrounds these three nor am I foolhardy enough to
try and separate "fact from fiction and fiction from fact" conveniently
provided by parties and individuals who have vested interest in the
manner these issues are to be resolved in order to advance their
personal interests. Suffice to say that common sense tells us that there
are still questions to be answered and facts and fiction to be sorted
out before the truth finally prevails.
But there are a few home truths that must be faced for politicians plying their trade in Malaysia. We must tell the politicians from both sides of the divide, their families, 'sahabats' and their cronies, tell them in a language they can understand, that the Age of Entitlements that begets them insane wealth and unbridled political power, which they abused and used to for their personal advantage, is well and truly over.
If the Rakyat cannot buy a Penthouse in New York or Bangsar on the proceeds of scams or crimes, then neither can they.
If we should not abuse the trust our government puts into us by giving us contracts to supply submarines, construct buildings and utilities for the nation's use or undertake "business opportunity" to benefit our people and our country, then neither should anyone else even if he is a member of a political party or even if he is a friend of the Prime Minister.
If Bank Negara and PDRM will investigate any Ringgit 2.6 billion deposited into my private account to ensure that the money is kosher and legit, so should Bank Negara and PDRM investigate how that same amount of money happens to be deposited into the personal bank account of the Prime Minister.
And if by explanation of the money being there, we are told that the Umno constitution allows the Umno president to hold money for Umno in trust, we must ask why it is so?.
And if an Umno member tells us that RM2.7 billion is no big deal, that it is a mere donation or contribution from some benefactor from the middle east - then the question must be asked for what purpose would anyone contribute that amount of money? And does not acceptance of that amount of money compromise the sovereignty and national security of our nation because surely there is no such thing as a "free lunch?"

Of Najib, Rosmah and 1MDB
Only the element of time will
reveal the truth of what Najib and Rosmah have done to Umno, to Barisan
Nasional, to politics and to the well being of our people and our nation
