Quickies : "Bukan Islam"

The only "bukan" that I may find in any forms, documents or applications that I may fill in Australia, is when the government ask's me if "English" is my mother tongue...and they ask me that so that if I do so require, a translator will be provided to make me understand what is being asked of me.

My religion, my sexual preferences, my gender and age is no body's concern but mine.

I fail to understand why, if you are a Malaysian, that "BUKAN ISLAM" bit is the business of any body else but you - especially when it involves school children.

Are we not starting this "you are different from me" thing just a little bit too young?
