In December 44 Muslim Islamic Religious Council (MAIS) NGO's "urged the police and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission to take stern action against the person behind the “steadyaku47” blog for allegedly criticising and slandering the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah" and shortly after steadyaku47 was "blocked with a notice saying the website can no longer be accessed in Malaysia as its contents violated national laws"

Since then I have focussed my work in Facebook and the daily 25K to 30K of clicks that I used to get on steadyaku47 blog has gone down to 10K a day. .....that was until last week when I decided that I will try to again to get steadyaku47 to the same number of clicks it was getting before it was banned.
And so I started work to do this in earnest...and today...a week later...I can report that I have managed to get the numbers back to 20K.

44 Muslim groups demand probe on blogger for ‘slandering’ sultan
They urge the cops and MCMC to take action following a post criticising the sultan on the ‘steadyaku47’ blog.
SHAH ALAM: As many as 44 Selangor Islamic Religious Council (MAIS) non-governmental organisations today urged the police and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission to take stern action against the person behind the “steadyaku47” blog for allegedly criticising and slandering the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
Among the NGOs were Persatuan Wadah Pencerdasan Umat Malaysia (Wadah), Persatuan Ahli Falak Selangor, Momogun Muslim Malaysia, Muslim Care Malaysia Society, Persatuan Jaringan Islam Global Masa Depan, Persatuan Halaqah Al-Quran Selangor, and Persatuan Belia Masjid Selangor.
Spokesman for the group, Nik Mohd Yusoff Nik Ismail, said the criticisms made by the blogger Hussein Abdul Hamid in his article, which was published on Dec 13, were ill-mannered.
He said although the blogger was believed to be operating from Australia, this did not mean that the police could not investigate him and work with Interpol to track him down and take appropriate action.
“The position of the institution of the Malay rulers must be respected by everyone as embedded in the Federal Constitution. The accusations made by the blog “steadyaku47” about Sultan Sharafuddin are also defamatory,” he added.
A search for the blog found that it had already been blocked with a notice saying the website can no longer be accessed in Malaysia as its contents violated national laws.
