Do Malaysians Care?

Surah 2:247 says:

"Indeed, Allah has chosen him over you and has increased him abundantly in knowledge and stature. And Allah gives His sovereignty to whom He wills." 

Based on this, scholars of the Quran have identified nine qualities a leader should possess. These are:

1. Knowledge

2. Power

3. Sound Judgement

4 Patience

5 Justice

6 Communication skills

7 Piety

8 Simplicity

9 Truth

Can anyone of those leaders in their respective areas (government, justice, police, anti-corruption, among others) claim to possess a single quality envisaged by Allah?

No.

Is this surprising to Malaysians?

No.

Do Malaysians care?

Yes, but only a few, because the rest are either ignorant through indoctrination, or swallowed by greed. Or just plain stupid and clueless.

Does it mean being a minority render these Malaysians helpless in  the face of this thievery?

No, because we live in a country with 8 hereditary rulers and one rotating king who are leaders in the eyes of God.

And what have the rulers done to stop the oppression of the minority?

They have chosen to remain as spectators while the country is being robbed of its wealth. They have chosen to disengage themselves from "politics" as they presumably consider this thievery a political affair.

Were the rulers aware of the "Open Letter to the Sultans from Concern Malaysians" that you posted on your facebook on 27.12.17?

Did they get the chance to read and digest the contents?

Again, presumably not, because what they have achieved so far in their role of leaders of Islam is to recall the awards they have bestowed on Malaysians who are fighting to restore the virtues of Islam in the country.

An irony?

Maybe.
