Dato Razak Idris : mantan Pengarah SPRM

Kawan-kawan, jika PH memerintah Malaysia nanti kita akan desak selain dari adakan RCI atau siasatan semula keatas skandal/kes 1MDB, FELDA, MARA, TABUNG HAJI, NFC, kapal selam Scorpene, diadakan undang-undang supaya semasa Parlimen/DUN dibubarkan:

Terima kasih.

KNOW THIS FOR CERTAIN.

Dear ALL loyal fellow Malaysians who love this country......
Let us all cast our votes at this coming GE. Let us kick out every single one in this team of arrogant traitors running and treating our country as if it is their own personal estates.
Let us make them cringe and wilt to the thunderous roar of the Rakyats' voice at the ballot box. Let us show them their scheming and cheating ways to stay in power to avoid their dues WILL NOT BE ANYWHERE NEAR ENOUGH.
There isn't the barest hope these traitors to our nation can survive this impending tsunami.
We, the Rakyat, KNOW THIS FOR CERTAIN.
The team of vile traitors who have turned their backs on this country and traded God for greed KNOW THIS FOR CERTAIN.
The whole world KNOW THIS FOR CERTAIN.
What is yet to be seen, over and above the many related foul moves already in place, is just how far they would dare go to cheat and steal this coming GE.
Would they cheat and try to steal it to the point of totally murdering this democratic process in the full glare of the keenly watching world?
Let us see if they would gamble and try force-fitting our near-total angry and legitimate votes into something else to try and steal this GE.
For their own sake they should hope and pray they will not succeed.
For their own sake, they should hope and pray the Rakyat will be able to reclaim and save their beloved country in a respectful and orderly atmosphere.
For their own sake, they should hope and pray the Rakyat will be allowed to take back their country with the minimum possible grudges and thirst for vengeance; and that they might be somewhat forgiving.
And for the country's sake, let us, the Rakyat, show this super-traitor of our country that we have had enough of his evil deeds.
Let us let loose the full force of the tsunami to strike all the evil in it's path.
Let us also remind him of his open and belligerent declaration for this election, that "IF WE CANNOT WIN, NO PARTY CAN WIN" and that "NOTHING IS SACRED".
So; super-traitor Najib, cheat all you dare to your own folly. Whatever happens, do not doubt we shall take our beloved country back from your traitorous and evil clutch.
That is a given that only The Almighty can now change.
Do we do this through our untampered right at the ballot box, or along the line that you had so openly and brazenly declared and urged?
YOU DECIDE.
A loyal and concerned Malaysian.... Shri Bilal Chin

HUBRIS and ARROGANCE

JT : "I visited taiping slim village and sabak bernam.the verdict is clear.the simpletons are voting tun m"
Selamat Pagi Malaysia...6.18 am Monday and I woke up to the above comment by JT to one of my postings on Tun Mahahthir "Aku akan pergi tak lama lagi"......and this is my reply to his comment :
"That may be so JT but I am beginning to worry what ANY government will do when they come into power for these simpletons are easy led down ANY garden path!"
If truth be told this matter has been playing on my mind since late Friday night and Sunday was one of those days when I spent more time thinking then writing. What was I thinking about?
Hubris.
Hubris is "excessive pride and self confidence". ...something that Umno has by the buckets full. In these last few weeks I see that hubris is not the sole prerogative of umno...those in Pakatan Harapan too have a claim to it. But I am getting ahead of myself here...let me go back to the first premise of this posting : I fear that those whose political future depends on the votes of these "simpletons" are treating these "simpletons" as "simpletons" and before you get all riled up by my reference to voters as "simpletons" let me include myself in as one of these "simpletons".....for you see that is how these Yang Berhormats and would be Yang Berhormats are treating us all...like "simpletons".
Let me remind these YB's and would be YB's that WE the Rakyat are NOT simpletons. We have had over six decades of umno rule and we have had enough of it. We know the corruption, the dedak, the arrogance, the decadence and the hubris that now permeates umno at all levels. We know that once YOU are in government YOUR interest takes precedence over OURS. You YB's and would be YB's think that we Rakyat are fools when WE know that YOU are the Fools for thinking that we are FOOLS.....and this time around we the Rakyat are not going to turn the other cheek and be quiet.
Not me!
I know that this will be an election too close to call by anybody. If you ask any rational umno member of umno if he thinks that umno "boleh menang?"...his answer all be "terlalu tipis"...ditto for Pakatan Harapan!
So it will be our votes that will decide...it will be "Peoples Power" that will make the difference. And how are these two nemesis treating the Rakyat who will decide their fate? Like simpletons.
Ponder this for now...for I have more to write about this....suffice for me to say now that we the Rakyat now give notice to Pakatan Harapan YB's and would be YB's....that we will not be quiet BEFORE and AFTER the election when we see Pakatan Harapan YB's and would be YB's treating us Rakyat as "simpletons!". Enough said for now.

Not China, not PAS, not Umno not BN.....always Pakatan Harapan!

Today, what the Communist could not then achieve by the armed struggle of the Malayan Communist Party (MCP), they have begun to do again by tact, diplomacy and economic infiltration into Malaysia.

They are building a US$100 billion,1,400-hectare satellite city to serve 700,000 resident in Johor.

Beijing's "One Belt One Road" initiative will see a deep-sea port as part of the Melaka Gateway project built for strategic rather than commercial reasons.

The Melaka's Chief Minister tells us that historic legacy is one of the reasons for Beijing interest in Melaka. Really? if so, then did not what the MCP did during those Emergency years be enough of a legacy to the BN Malaysian government to NOT go to bed with those who have cause many thousand of Malaysians to be sacrificed in the fight to prevent the  Communist from taking from us our own country that the wanted to make theirs? The ability of politicians to make light of the sacrifices of thousand of Malaysian that came before them in order to conveniently suit present political needs sickens me to the core of my being. Ptui!

Port Klang has plan for a RM$200 billion expansion and then there is the RM$12.5 billion Kuala Linggi International Port near Melaka.... all funded by "investors" from China.

All this and more are planned in Pahang and Kelanatn. In Penang the Chinese are ostensibly using their money to finance development there. Really? Does the phrase economic domination rings any bells in your head?

And then of course there is the University....China's "soft approach" to have their way into Malaysia through education! Do we not remember how Umno used education to dumb down  our young and by so doing have easy passage to rape and pillage our country to their hearts content?

Of course you can trivialise all these rantings of mine as being that of a Malay who is paranoid that the coming of China to Malaysia spells the end of the Malays and Islam. Am I not trumpeting the very thing that umno has been telling us Malays? That the DAP will be the death of the Malays and of Islam? And is not DAP and China of the same mettle...the same race...the same people?

No my dear friends my rantings speaks of greater ideals, greater aspirations, greater needs...and all of them are for my country. And if you call yourself a Malaysian, you too should be alarmed at what is now happening to our country as China begins it's march across the length and breadth, North to South, West to East of  our beloved Malaysia...a Malaysia  already on the verge of economic ruination, endemic racial discord with leaders sans any grace, accountability or responsibility in the things they do to our country in the name of government. That, and nothing else, is my concern.

The Soldiers that fought against the Communist during the Emergency might feel betrayed. The Malays might not want anymore Chinese in their backyard. The Chinese might welcome the intervention of Big Brother from the mainland to protect their interest in Malaysia...to each their own agenda....my only concern is the dignity and the sovereignty of this country that I love. Economic domination by any country of our country, China included, will take away from us all, self respect and the sovereignty of this once great nation of ours.

That, and that only, is why our soldiers sacrificed their lives during the Emergency fighting the Communist. That and that alone should now be our consideration if we want this odious and corrupt umno led BN government to cease and desist from continuing to surrender our sovereignty to the Chinese simply for the purpose of their own personal vested interests. And what may these vested interest be? in a word...DEDAK. the ravages of DEDAK to our economy has made it necessary for this Idiot to surrender our sovereignty to China - nothing more, nothing else. It has been DEDAK  nothing else but DEDAK that has cause our country to now allow itself to be willingly ravaged and raped by a China  intent upon one thing and one thing only - to serve it's aggressive stated policy of economic domination of any country that allows it to do just that. And Malaysia my friends is now one of those countries.

Enough said! I am tired of reminding you all to fight back this despicable umno led BN government that is prepared to do any deeds, make any deals and signed any numbers of MOU's and Agreements with China simply to line their own deep pockets with DEDAK and to get China to make right what has gone wrong in Malaysia because of corruption.

We must say no to China. We must say no to DEDAK. We must say enough of umno and BN. If we do not, our children will not have country to live in, a future to look forward to and all that they can do is to leave this nation of ours as I did, and go try and make a living and a future for themselves abroad. To many millions of Malaysian have already done that. Stop the exodus, stop the rot and certainly stop this Idiot from making it all possible. Vote for Pakatan Harapan!

I do not want the Chinese in my Malaysia for the same reason I do not want PAS and Umno to do government after GE 14...because I want my Malaysia back! And if you are a Malaysian at heart, in deeds and in everything else...you too would want the same thing that I want...for are we all not Malaysians?

Boleh? Mesti boleh!

"Parliament speaker Pandikar’s persistent stonewalling of all questions related to 1MDB is part of the chain of defence insulating PM Najib from the nuclear fallout of his self-made mega 1MDB bomb. Other parts of the chain are the judiciary, attorney general, police and MACC.

The mission of this chain is to ensure safe passage for Najib up to polling day, despite challenges from scandals arising from numerous infarction of the law such as unconstitutional appointment of chief justice, unconstitutionally redelineated electoral roll, the perverted jailing of Anwar, and countless corruption scandals.
The rule of law has no doubt collapsed, and the only way to redeem the country is to beat Umno/BN in the imminent election".
author unknown

That was sent to me via whatsapp a few minutes ago...and it struck a chord within me....because those were exactly the words, the structure and the way I wanted to write of what is now happening in Malaysia as GE 14 nears. I cannot put it in any better way then that....and so I will start with the above words and now continue with my own.
Everything that the Idiot can do to ensure that he will still stay as PM of our beloved country he has done, is doing and will continue to do in the coming days before, during and even after GE14. Read that sentence again and again until you understand...."EVERYTHING HE CAN DO HE WILL DO"...LEGAL, ILLEGAL, COVERT, OVERT...no limits!
What does that mean? Go read the first paragraph of this article again..."THE RULE OF LAW HAS COLLAPSED, AND THE ONLY WAY TO REDEEM THE COUNTRY IS TO BEAT UMNO/BN IN THE IMMINENT ELECTION".
Can we beat umno/BN in the imminent election?
Maybe we can, maybe we cannot...it is too close to call in an open, free and fair election and in a free and open and fair election, I am prepared to abide by the results of the open, free and fair election... for that is what a democracy is.
But this will not be a open, fair and free election. That we have already established.
There is no need for me to tell you why it is so....just this week we hear Azmin Ali, MB of Selangor tell us that the water situation in Selangor has been the result of an inept, mismanaged, irresponsible SPLASH that is in collusion with Umno to inflict upon the people of Selangor, all the suffering that can be inflicted upon them by depriving them out of one of our most fundamental need - WATER. In other words anything at their disposal, even the supply of such a vital need in our lives, WATER, this BN government has no scruples in using, if by so doing they can win brownie points against a PH controlled state! What a despicable thing to do...make the people of Selangor suffer just to win a few brownie points in the coming election.
But the people of Selangor understand their situation well. They understand that should PH wins this general election, then the contract that SPLASH currently now has with the BN Federal Government will be a contract with a PH Federal Government. And a PH Federal Government will know what to with an errant SPLASH to ensure that the people of Selangor will no longer have a water problem.
So imagine dear friends, what a PH Federal Government can achieve !!!!
These are the 10 things they promise us they will do in the first 100 days.

1. To abolish Goods and Services Tax (GST)
2. To reintroduce fuel subsidies
3. To eliminate unnecessary debts that were forced on FELDA settlers
4. To introduce the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) scheme for housewives
5. To standardise the monthly minimum wages of employees across the whole

country

6. To ease the burden of National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN)

loan borrowers

7. To set up a Royal Commissions of Inquiry into scandal-ridden institutions
8. To restore Sabah and Sarawak's autonomous rights, as enshrined in the

Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63)

9. To introduce 'Skim Peduli Sihat'
10. To review all mega projects

Jangan kata they will do these 10 things in the first 100 days...just do five of the above things and we will already be on our way towards claiming back our country, our future and more important, OUR government. And from there there will be no turning back as we head towards what we can and must do to leave a better Malaysia to our future generations then the one we are now living in.
Saudara saudari sekalian....whether you be Muslims or Infidels....mari kita beganding bahu...let us all stand solidly together and march in front of Tun Mahathir, Lim Kit Siang and Azizah to protect them....protect them all the way to Putrajaya for God and ALLAH knows that they need our protection...and let us all together take Putrajaya away from this odious, corrupt and dedak infested umno led BN government!
Boleh? Mesti boleh!
I am one, with you we are two. Who else will join us!

UNITY IN DIVERSITY IN PH? DREAM ON!

These opposition politicians in PH already thinks that the BN government is about to fall. The mad rush to grab as many seats as is possible for themselves have already started. Who will control Putrajaya? Who will dictate terms for the other component parties within PH to follow? Who is the de facto leader of PH? Who will rule in Selangor and Negri Sembilan? Who, after Mahathir, will be PM? So many questions to be answered and the battle has still to be won! All that they think about is their own party's interest and their own vested interest. Their true colours are on display for us to see. Do they deserve our support???? God help us all!

Syed Akhbar Ali : It's Game Over for the BN.

Last nite I was hosted for dinner and an interesting discussion by 11 of my seniors from the Anglo Chinese School in Ipoh. These were folks who had completed their Form Five in 1958, 1963 and so on. At that time there was no SPM or MCE. They called it the School Certificate. Thank you to my Elders.
One of the questions they asked me was 'How strong is the Pakatan Harapan?'
If you have watched the latest remake of Jungle Book (the animation) the wolves repeat their oath, *'The strength of the wolf is the pack and the strength of the pack is the wolf.'*
The second part of this statement "the strength of the pack is the wolf" seems to apply to the Pakatan Harapan. The strength of the PH lies in two parts. The first is the individual strengths of the component parties namely the Parti Pribumi Bersatu, the DAP, Parti Amanah and the PKR.
No matter whether it rains or shines, each one of these components have their undying supporters and voters which will translate to votes and seats to be won.
The second part of the Pakatan Harapan's strength (which is a bonus) is Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed. Dr Mahathir provides the focus and the glue to reach Putrajaya.
Here is some info about the two previous elections.
BN Pakatan 2008

140 seats, 51% 82 seats, 48%
2013
133 seats (-7) 89 seats (+7)
Popular vote

5,237,699 5,623,984

47.4 % (-4%) 51.0% (+3%)
Well, since Tan Sri Muhyiddin, Mukriz and a few other leaders are no more in the BN, the BN's seat count is even less.

There are 222 Parliamentary seats, so you need 111 + 1 = 112 seats to form the federal government.
165 Parliamentary seats are on the Peninsula and 57 are in Sarawak and Sabah.

The Pakatan Harapan need only win 20 more seats to topple the BN.

Talk is that DAP will be contesting 40 Parliamentary seats in the Peninsula.

Parti Bersatu will be contesting 55 seats.
The PKR will be contesting 50 seats in the Peninsula.
Parti Amanah may contest 20 seats

Both DAP (and the PKR) will contest some Parliamentary seats in Sabah and Sarawak.
The DAP holds 31 Parliamentary seats in the Peninsula, 5 seats in Sarawak and 2 more in Sabah (total of 38). This means the DAP is contesting an extra NINE seats in the Peninsula. The DAP may also contest more than the SEVEN seats they already have in Sarawak and Sabah.
Since time is short and resources are limited some observers suggest that Pakatan deploy its resources carefully for maximum effect.
It is suggested that Mukriz Mahathir focus extra efforts to win all the Parliamentary and State seats in Kedah for the Pakatan.
Similarly Tan Sri Muhyiddin should focus extra efforts on securing Johor.
Tun Dr Mahathir has been doing a great job among the Felda areas and also as chief campaigner in other constituencies throughout the Peninsula.
Parti Amanah seems to be strongest in Kelantan and has good potential to rout PAS and UMNO from some of the seats. Husam in Kelantan and his Amanah cohorts should focus heavily on Kelantan.
As the incumbent State government in Selangor, PKR should work extra hard to win even more Parliamentary and State seats in Selangor for Pakatan candidates.
The same applies for the DAP in Penang.
There are some internal issues in the PKR. The party has three power centres namely the Anwar Ibrahim family, Azmin and his Selangor group and finally Rafizi Ramli and his technical boys. However the ground support for the PKR is still intact and does not seem to have any adverse effect on the party's popularity.
The Pakatan need only win an extra 20 Parliamentary seats to defeat the BN.
Lets say Parti Bersatu wins a minimum 10 seats.

DAP wins THREE extra seats.
PKR wins THREE extra seats.
Amanah wins FOUR seats.
It's game over for the BN.

We are not including Parti Warisan in Sabah.

Or the Pakatan Harapan's Dayak friends in Sarawak.

It's Game Over for the BN.

SAKMONGKOL AK47 : Put Dr Mahathir as the person representing Pakatan Harapan.

Pakatan pro tempore committe- personal thoughts.

These are my own personal comments. Most of us have read about this. Pakatan Harapan- is forming a pro tem committee. Most are us are jubilant about this. A pro tempore committee is finally in place.
Among other things, it will look into the idea of registering one common logo. As I have said some time ago, this is a right step. One of the things BN is fearful of, is the use of one logo by the opposition. Perhaps it can also discuss the idea of direct membership.
One logo. It will simplify the choice for voters. They will vote either BN or PH. It shows we can present a united front to the people. Hopefully it removes confusion. We are telling people that they have tangible choices.
The other thing that BN is fearful of is the leader who represents PH. Unfortunately we have 2 leaders who will act as advisors to PH. The leaders who met up have agreed to have 2 persons to represent PH. I don’t think this is strategic in the sense of being able to confer maximum advantages to PH. There should only be one person to represent PH.
If we don’t trust Mahathir, put Wan Azizah in charge. Or put up Muhyidin. Let us have only one captain commanding the ship. You can’t have 2 captains overseeing the command of a ship. It will run aground.
But let us ask ourselves? Will Wan Azizah have the drawing power to convert the UMNO people to our cause? We can’t bank our hopes solely on our extreme disgust of the injustice meted out to Anwar Ibrahim that we feel, giving Wan Azizah the symbolic gesture of fronting for Anwar will do the trick. We are dangerously flirting with an overrated emotion. It’s not endearing enough to have someone projecting a very feminine and likeable image comforting herself with a fontage fan.
I am not going to mince my words here. I am saying the person who is most strategically useful to us at the moment is Dr Mahathir. Put Dr Mahathir as the person representing PH.
With due respects to Wan Azizah, her placement there appears to give assurance to the PKR people, their boss is there. It’s like an insurance policy, reflecting the jockeying of position that is already looming in the background in the event that PH wins the PRU14. It is already the right of first claim by PKR when PH wins the next election. Anwar Ibrahim can become PM, after we win power.
It is also a decision to quell the distrust of the PKR people and members of PH on Mahathir. There are lingering doubts as to the sincerity of DR Mahathir in teaming up with PH. Personally I think most of these fear are unfounded.
Why do we need Wan Azizah to serve as midwife?
I have been wanting to write about this sometime ago but held back for fear on sending the wrong messages.  Now that a committee is already in place, this issue can be discussed.
The only person whom UMNO fears most is Dr Mahathir. Let us make no bones about it- we are fighting UMNO. Don’t entertain PAS as a serious opponent. It’s UMNO.
After being played out on the issue of RUU355, PAS has lost credibility even among its own adherents. It can’t go back to its people by saying it tries its best but that it is UMNO which betrays them.
How do you explain that after having getting yourself besotted and ensnared by UMNO’s advances, you cannot depend on UMNO to put up the bill? Its supporters will be demanding blood soon. It has betrayed the hope and trust placed on them to deliver the RUU bill. It seems now that God has willed that Hadi’s private bill cannot get through with UMNO. It will shatter the hopes of the hundreds who came by buses to parliament the last time, to see and hear the motion becomes bill. How will Hadi explain to the expectant faces?
Some time ago, when Dr Mahathir turned up for an event organised by PKR, he was booed as he entered the hall. I understand the latent animosity and disapproval of Mahathir. Rightly or wrongly, he is seen as the person responsible for inflicting harm on Anwar.
But Mahathir now is the only person who can lead PH to defeat UMNO. Unless we defeat UMNO and win power, I am afraid, but have to say this, our friend Anwar Ibrahim will rot in jail. I am not taking away anything from Anwar Ibrahim, but there is also a sizeable portion of our citizens who do not believe in his ability as a leader. If he is pragmatic, Anwar will endorse Mahathir as leader of PH. He should stop playing politics from jail. I think for him, putting up Mahathir is a better choice than having Azmin Ali as co advisor.
As a blogger qua blogger, I will write about the internal politics of PKR sometime in the future.
With Mahathir coming on board, that portion opposed to PH for whatever reasons, can be reduced in size and our chance to defeat UMNO is increased. Just look as Felda. Whenever Mahathir comes, the crowd is huge.  We incapacitate Felda, we incapacitate UMNO.
When Najib was in Tawau recently he asked the question repeatedly- who does Sabah people support?- the answer came back loudly, Mahathir.
It is strategic for us, to leverage on Mahathir’s acceptability by the people. Mahathir still commands the reservoir of support in the Malay heartland.
Leverage on Mahathir. It is the perfect example, of a knife borrowed, which we can use to kill off the enemy, UMNO.

Lim Kit Siang has disappointed many!

Let me remind the opposition (whoever they may now be!) why they were able to get the popular mandate from the voters of Malaysia  and garner 51% of the votes in the last general election.

Lim Kit Siang, Lim Guan Eng, Anwar Ibrahim, Hadi and Tok Guru together, arms raised in unison, giving the message to all Malaysians that no matter what their differences, they will be together to serve the people of Malaysia should they be called upon to form the Government of the day. If they can somehow forge a union from racial, religious and political diversity then there is hope yet for our nation, our people and for our future.

The people of Malaysia did not fail them. Pakatan Rakyat received the popular mandate to form government but six decades of gerry meandering by a corrupt Umno who intends to stay in government at all costs - through legal or illegal means - meant that a popular mandate is not enough to allow the opposition to form government. That would have to wait for another day when a level playing field is in place to ensure that democratic principles are adhered to.

The burden of race has inflicted upon us all many limitations

Ketuanan Melayu in lieu of meritocracy. The immediate benefit that migration brings against the tedious work and sacrifices that nation building asks of you.  Political correctness at the expense of political realities that effectively impedes national growth and consensus when our nation has need for it most. All this that I say here, is for you all to reflect as the Sarawak elections unfolds before us all.

Today at the very moment when the Umno led Barisan Nasional is at it weakest what is happening to the opposition?

Azmin: DAP-PKR clashes in Sarawak election 'unfortunate'
KUCHING: Going against earlier pledges not to fight each other in the upcoming Sarawak election, two component parties of Pakatan Harapan are nevertheless doing precisely that as they take each other on in Batu Kitang.

What are we to make of all this?

Pakatan Rakyat is long gone - dead and buried without so much as a respectful burial for a political entity that 51% of Malaysian voters choose to lead them in the last general election. Think about it!  The people of Malaysia voted for Pakatan Rakyat and what Pakatan Rakyat did was to turn around and told the people of Malaysia "F*#k Off"!...our own political agendas, our leaders individual needs and our racial and religious wants comes first before the national aspirations of the majority of the electorates that voted for Pakatan Rakyat.

Thank you very much we all say...we will not forget that in the next general elections

For now let me have my say on the state of the opposition today.

Lim Kit Siang has disappoint many Malaysians because he will not lead the opposition in lieu of Anwar Ibrahim. He deserves to lead, he has earned the right to lead and there is nobody better to lead the opposition, but Kit Siang will not lead because "political correctness" does not allow him to be leader of the opposition.

That is why the opposition is in disarray. That is why the opposition is failing if it has not already failed. And that is why when Umno is at its weakest, so is the opposition!

Politics abhor a vacuum. I have nothing against a women to lead the opposition but I have  everything against a women leader, against any leader, who fails to lead.

Azmin Ali is too busy being "presidential" as MB Selangor and has started to stray into political delusion of grandeurs that has dog many other overly ambitious political leaders. Will Pakatan Harapan want anything from what Azmin Ali already has in Selangor? Does Azmin Ali need to work with the leadership within Pakatan Harapan or do they need him and Selangor more than Azmin and Selangor need Pakatan Harapan? And an "agreement in principles" on how the Sarawak Elections are to be conducted can be agreed to if, and only if, they served his and PKR's political agendas, NOT Pakatan Harapan agendas!

This is what happens when there is a political vacuum within the opposition! Everyone for themselves - for their own needs and for their own greed.

There is no political vacuum in Umno. They may have a flawed, corrupt and irresponsible leader but Umno has a leader in Najib Razak. When they tire of him they will change him but for now there is focus in Umno, there is leadership.

In conclusion let me say this:

For as long as the Chinese think they cannot lead politically in Malaysia because of race and religion.

For as long as the Malays think that race and religion confers upon them the right to political power without any consideration to meritocracy, responsibility and accountability.

Then that is the length of time our nation, our people and our future will be damm to achieve less that what we can, if not damm, eventually, to failure.

Great men, with greater purpose in life than themselves, can go on to do greater things. The late Tok Guru Nik Aziz, the late Karpal Singh have done their part. Anwar too - but Anwar is now indisposed. Lim Kit Siang has still to run the gauntlet.....we will have to wait to see if he does!

Very true Cik Hussein, but if Kit Siang leads the Opposition the BN people will have a field day citing it as proof that the Cina are taking over the country.  This surely won't go down very well with the Malays who fear that Ketuanan Melayu will no longer be possible. Apa Cina mau lagi? This will plague the Malay psyche who forever fear losing Tanah Melayu. Until you understand this Malay mindset you will never appreciate why The Peminpin must always be a Melayu.

steadyaku47 : DK I have understood the "Malay mindset" from the time I could think for I am a Malay myself....but why would any Malay want to be led by any Malay who will rob, steal, plunder and pillage a country that they mistakenly call their own? If, despite our numerical advantage and after 60 years of Umno a Malay is no longer The Peminpin - then maybe it is what the Malays mau?
