"Justice" a political tool?

In the reality of political skullduggery that has become the "new normal" under Najib Razak, murders, murderers and everything else in between : the police, the judiciary, the lawyers and every bit player that are involved : all of them are now willing accomplices to ensure that "justice" is done to the murdered and the murderer for the benefit of our political criminal elites. 

"Justice" in Malaysia today is tempered not by mercy, not by any sense of fairness or by the doing of what is right and proper under the constitution but "Justice"  has now become effectively a political tool of choice by these criminal elites to advantage their political and personal agenda. 

"The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing" - Edmund Burke.         

When Judges, prosecutors, lawyers and significant others in the judicial process are the "good men" who do nothing to give those murdered their dues and allow murderers to get less than what they deserved....then we have the many deaths of people in the custody of PDRM and MACC, we have Altantuya, Hussain Najadi, Kevin Morais and other victims that are now dead because it serves the purpose of those in political power. 

And for those who did the murdering, Justice is "seen" to be done by the courts, but such justice as to render the judiciary an ass. 

How has it come to this? Let us consider the case of Altantuya.

On 9th April 2009 Dato Mohd Zaki Md Yasin  : Judge High Court found :

"I am satisfied therefore that the prosecution has proved the case against both the First and Second Accused beyond reasonable doubt. Accordingly, I find both of them guilty and convicted as charged. I thereby sentenced both the First and Second Accused to death and order both of them to be kept in the lawful custody until they are brought to a lawful place where they will be hung by their neck until they are dead"

 

On 23rd August 2013 Dato Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat, Judge Court of Appeal found :

It is our judgement that the circumstantial evidence are insufficient and not strong enough to sustain the finding of guilt of the appellants......We, unanimously, allow both appeals. Conviction and sentence by the High Court is set aside. The appellants are accordingly acquitted and discharged.

On 13 January 2015 Suriyadi Halim Omar, Judge Federal Court found :

We therefore allow the appeal. The Court of Appeals order is thereby set aside and the order of conviction and the mandatory sentence of death against the respondents by the High Court for the murder of the deceased are restored and affirmed, 

 

And yet today we are none the wiser as to why Altantuya has been murdered! Why two murderers under the employment of a Government Agency - Unit Tindakan Khas- were supplied with C4 by the Ministry of Defence under Najib Razak and instructed to murder Altantuya and then have her body blown to smithereens. 

Time and time again the Judiciary in Malaysia have proven themselves to be an ass by the manner they conduct themselves in court. Justice is not served, justice is skewered to serve the interest of politicians. Justice is done in a manner that makes it impossible for the truth to be told. And those Judges, Lawyers and others complicit in this odious process are rewarded with promotions and titles and of course, with insane amount of wealth beyond their wildest dreams.   

All this done in the glare of public scrutiny because those in political power know that they can do what they pretty well damm like and get away with what they do.

And for now, there is not one damm thing you or I can do about it!
