Police say no to Perkasa’s bid for rally permit

KUALA LUMPUR, July 8 — The police have rejected an application by Perkasa to hold a rally at Stadium Titiwangsa here tomorrow.
In a statement today, Sentul OCPD ACP Zakaria Pagan said Kuala Lumpur City Hall, which manages the stadium, had refused to rent out the stadium because it has been booked by another group to hold a sports event.
Zakaria said Perkasa has accepted the decision and will not hold any rally at the stadium.
