cakap cakap...Moral Courage

Find out just what people will submit to, and you have found out the exact amount of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them; and these will continue until they are resisted with either words or blows, or both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.

Physical courage in battle and moral courage in public life are issues that would require more time then what we have to address. But to me moral courage is of a higher and rarer virtue than physical courage because it means facing issues and making decisions that every human instinct would rather avoid.
How is it that money politics in UMNO has come to it’s present state of affairs? It did not just happened last week, last month …last year. It would have taken many many years for money politics to become the end all and the be all of all things UMNO. How many UMNO Presidents, how many UMNO Supreme Council members – how many Mentri Besars and Ketua Bahagians have colluded to allow the cancerous growth of money politics to grow to its current terminal stage that UMNO has suddenly realized it is now in? Did nobody in UMNO had the moral courage to stand up and questioned this lapse in ethical conduct that was many years in the making? How did things get this far?
Nobody in UMNO has the integrity to stand up with dignity and against all odds, say “This is wrong”.  This is why I say that moral courage is a higher and a rarer virtue seldom found amongst men and women – certainly none was found within the midst of UMNO when it was most needed. And harder still to find one that lives these values

  1. Actually can find from within those that speak up against.

Ku Li is the best example.

And in him also u have the best example of what happens to those who speak up against the UMNO power brokers.

  2. In some case of human psychology, when people are poverty-stricken whoever gives them money or food they support them. SImple. They do not care about politics and who is in power. Survival to live is first priority. After they have enough then they will create problem/trouble when they wake up and think that they have been used.

  3. Saudara Hussein

    Salam

  4. Pak HH, you know what. After analysing Bagan Pinang result, UMNO will die from money politic...like wine if over consume becomes poison. In the end all UMNO leaders with money would like to become MPs/YBs and there will not be enough seats to accomodate all. The poison will then trickled in.

NO MATTER WHERE YOU DO IT OR WHO YOU DO IT TO!

IN THE ARMY, SCHOOL, UMNO, PAS, DAP, COURTS .....
