cakap cakap...a reflection.

When I started steadyaku47 a few months back it was because I had many thoughts, ideas and stories to tell – about the life I have lived, the things I have done and the things I wanted to say and to share these things with anybody that cares to do so. Because most of what I wanted to say had to do with what I thought was wrong with our country invariably what I posted on steadyaku47 reflected this. And because most of these wrongs were perpetuated by the doings of UMNO – UMNO became my whipping boy. In this our friends joined me and together we have had a jolly good time whipping UMNO.

But this orgy of denouncing and demonizing UMNO cannot be of any good unless we are able to build on it towards change for the better. This morning when I went through my emails I was encouraged to see that the comments coming in were comments that were constructive and incisive in nature. The latest list that I put out yesterday was meant to do that. It is to make us think why it is so.

·      Why are only 3% of Petronas employee’s non-Malays?
·      Why has 2 million Chinese migrated?
·      Why has 0.5 million Indians migrated?
·      Why has 3 million Indonesians migrated to Malaysia?

We will all have our opinions but when you put that down on paper and share it with other, as we do on steadyaku47, then we are the better for it. We are the better for it because there is now an outlet for us to discuss this with others. The idea that this list is being passed quietly from one Chinese to another, form one Indian to another makes me shudder because in doing so it only breeds distrust and a ‘us’ and ‘them’ mentality – which only contributes towards the divide and rule policies that UMNO encourages for its own ends.

Are the people ready to discuss these sensitive issues in the open? Are we matured enough to do so without getting hot under the collar? We do not know until we do. As one of you commented, this list is just half the story. Yes but is it not better that we do have half a story then no story at all? Now who will come up with the other half of the story? And so we build on this  -brick by brick, step by step – but always moving ahead together.

This is what we have to do. Lately I have been encouraged by the amount of thinking that have come in from the emails that I have received – it reflects that not only have you read what is on this blog but you have taken the time to think about it and then put your thoughts on paper and share it with us. I may not necessarily agree with what you say but you will get to say your piece here. As you know there is no attempt by me to control what is said on this blog – unless what you say is truly offensive.

Previously I have only posted what I write but I think this is very limiting. There are many wonderful stories being told out there that we will be the better for it if we are able to share it with others. Steadyaku47 needs to evolve into a constructive platform that can positively contribute towards change for the better. Towards that goal I intend to give the time and space to anyone who has anything constructive to say in this blog. So please if you want to be part of this experience do join in and share your thoughts, your aspirations and your hopes with our friends here. Any input towards this goal will be accepted with thanks but steadyaku47 will, of necessity be a reflection of my personality and of myself because after all this is my blog. Steadyaku47 is a work in progress. Let us see where we go. Regards.

  1. The reason why this country is what it is today is because of the MAD bunch of politicians in UMNO and BN !

They are mad because of the POWER and the perks behind IT!

POWER - MORE MONEY - MORE POWER - MORE MONEY!

SO ARE WE TO BE BLAMED?

YES, BECAUSE THE MALAYS AND OTHERS WANTED MORE MONEY ALSO...SO ALL SUPPORTED THE CROOKS TO STAY IN POWER...SO TO MAKE MORE MONEY...

THE CHINESE ARE THE MAIN CROOKS...WHO WOULD BRIBE ANYBODY TO GET THINGS DONE, EASY EASY, GREASY GREASY ...THAT IS ALL.. CAN "KOW TIM" ONE.

NO MATTER WHO HE IS....ANYBODY AT ALL! FROM THE HIGHEST TO THE BIGGEST TO THE STRONGEST !

THE CHINA MAN MAKES 100 MILLION AND GIVES AWAY 10 MILLION TO A MELAYU IN UMNO AND BN... AS DONATIONS...WHAT TO WORRY..."DAPAT BUAT AMAL JARIAH" THE CHINA MAN WAY!

SO NOW SINCE THE PEOPLE HAVE AWAKEN WE WILL THROW THEM INSIDE THE JAILS FOR ALL THEIR CRIMINAL ACTS AND CON ACTS AND WHATEVER ACTS AGAINST HUMANITY AND RACE - ALL RACES!

WE WILL NOT STOP! WE WILL SURVIVE AND WE SHALL PROCEED TILL VICTORY IS MADE!

  2. Pak HH,

You have said the right thing, about us denouncing and demonizing UMNO and we can see the most damning thing to talk about in blogs, is anything that has everything to do with UMNO, made us wonder why UMNO must be at the centerstage of any political talk especially in blogs where any point being talked on UMNO, be it in soft, mild and hard words, had made UMNO the main attraction, the single factor that lures all Malaysians to join in the discussion, with pros and cons.

And you said that this kind of talk cannot be of any good unless we are able to build on it towards change for the better. Whereas in most talks, we talked things we knew impossible for UMNO to change, unless UMNO is willing to change itself into something else, and that something else is already existing in the body and soul of Pakatan Rakyat.

We are having a war and UMNO has said that from now on until next general election they are preparing for that war. And they are training for that war, mental, psychological and physical and UMNO has proven that even when alone they are the better war machine than all of the Pakatan Rakyat component parties combined.

Demonizing UMNO is the way we build our psychological and mental strength to have a cause to fight and that cause is UMNO. Our adversary is UMNO not the people whom UMNO rules. Why do you think we have an army to fight a war if the objective is not to defeat the army of our enemy, not the people.

If now we fall back and start re-evaluting demonizing our enemy is not that holy, that is a sign of weaknesses on our part and a gross mistake in war. Demonizing UMNO is damn good because by painting the true picture of UMNO, we are not underestimating our enemy. We must "know your enemy so the war can be won" so said Sun-Tzu.

Has UMNO ever faltered in their demonizing the Pakatan Rakyat? They are doing it ever more, they never lack guard of their mental strength, and they keep building up their physical and psychological superiority over their enemy. They made themselves invincible because they are single-minded son-of-a-gun.

How do we build up our strength to win over the people if we don't have that quality and capability to defeat UMNO's soldiers. How do we fight a well organized army of UMNO with our patisan army? UMNO don't just throw to the people for their support, they make the people support them doesn't matter how they do it. That's the different between UMNO and Pakatan Rakyat.

When to UMNO everyday is struggle, everyday is war since 52 years ago and they have been winning their popular war and they will do anything to keep winning, UMNO is a political party that has no conception of defeat, that's why in fighting they are all ruthless and merciless to appear a victor because they fight like devil.

  3. I'm working with co that 100% own by M'sian Chinese and few years ago I submit our co application to become a vendor to Petronas because we need the status if we want to do their contract. Petronas return back our application with only one reason -- the co not own by bumis. I'm Malay, and wonder if my bos thinks like Petronas I won't work here just because I'm Malay and the co own by Chinese as a reason.

  4. I have only one thing to ask of the government of Malaysia:
Treat all your citizens fairly and equally, without fear or bias
It's that simple, no buts or ifs.
The internet is now at the disposal to the world and only a pigheaded government will try to control its people for their own selfish interests. Regimes come and regimes go. But the legacy of one's governance shall be no longer be judged geographically anymore. BN's beginning to stink in hyperspace already!

  6. I agree with earlier comments by Komando and FMZam on this posting.

It is the UMNO who without any guilt and shame has been raping the country. The UMNO leaders are very smart as they know of their wrong doing but not admitting it. The staunch supporters that are stupid. Go and talk to some of them and they'll tell you some of these:

    * It's OK to lockup people under ISA
    * It's OK for suspects to have die in custody.
    * What's wrong if they win court cases though the public perception is otherwise and that they are not tried by the media but the court.
    * The non-malays don't give a hoot about the malays in employment or business, so what's wrong for malays getting projects from government.

What they fail to see is injustice and abuse of power and position of them being in UMNO, that is governing the country.

On top of that, most of these UMNO businessmen only earn commissions on project awarded to them without even lifting their butt. Thus, no matter how many or large project given to these UMNO people, they've never develop the necessary skills in any business. That's why, the good malay techies are still with the chinese company (no pun intended for the chinese here) though some may claim to be underpaid.

This is not only just about UMNO but also the greedy chinese businessmen who are in cohort to make such a dubious transactions, time and time again. These chinese businessmen are competing among themselves to pay off those UMNO leaders.

Yep, watch carefully the association between the UMNO leaders and these greedy chinese businessmen before anyone call me racist. I'm just refering to the greedy chinese and not chinese in general.

The other element that came into is the government servants. Some of them are happy with the dough hand-out to them. Some got it small while some got it big. It come in the form of kickback from the greedy businessmen and elevated or extended position from the ruling elite. It has even infiltrate the noble professions as indicate in blogs elsewhere.

This situation has been quite long and deep rooted and need massive changes. That's why we need all the fair-minded people regardless of race and religion in this country to initiate changes to get rid of this practice.

If we are not able to work together to get rid this group of scums, we'll be, again and again, talking on this UMNO and race issue until the sky fall on us. We'll continue with the animosities while those scums are laughing at us.
