Cakap cakap...Isa Samad.

Hi Friends...I just got this very refreshing comment from one of my friends on Facebook - Hamzah Zain

Hamzah Zain:
Oleh kerana kemenangan yang membanggakan maka layaklah Isa Samad dilantik menjadi Menteri Besar Negeri Sembilan.

  4. I've got it. They took the postal votes with a huge majority, netting 3507 votes. I made a right guess I've said it right but that's not the point. My point is I was damn right to say what I've said in previous posting “The victory tonight will not only be a revenge so sweet for Najib but for Isa too and of course for one particular person who has everything to gain from this victory is none other than Mael Polin, the Army Chief, who made sure the soldiers vote for UMNO overwhelmingly.

  9. Brothers all,

My conscience says, the people of Bagan Pinang is right. They are giving Najib and gang a temporary happiness so to grab all the promises they made, swimming pool, footsal field, upgrading of their surau, these are for the soldiers.
More lowcost houses, social amenities and more developments for the people.

Najib and gang has to fulfill all these and they make sure they get them.

But come the GE13, its another story altogether, believe me!!

  11. I like very much to see PAS to win this by-election, but I don't feel disappointed Barisan Najis turned out to be the winner.

Lets this serve as a wake-up call for PAS especially the arrogant idiots like Hassan Ali.

  12. To be honest, if you look at the results, u would see no point blaming the postal votes.

We lost also on the 'residents vote'.

Almost ZERO positive to take from Bagan Pinang.

    Never mind, we move on.

Those who keep hentaming PAS and Hassan Ali, I bet u r chinese arent u ?

Have you ever wondered when u keep whacking PAS openly like that, how the Malays themselves feel?

Okay, my point is this, is Hassan Ali worst or is UMNO worst?

    Your choice, pick one!

I really cant stand the chinese idiots, particularly those who say they vote UMNO to teach PAS a lesson.

Seriously, u idiot chinese will accept UMNO knowing what they have done vs Hassan Ali?

Talk about not seeing the big picture!!!

  14. Dynamite for the fish?!
    That's so primitive.
Our People First, Performance Now requires that it be reserved for those barbarian mongol hordes.

  15. Yes the people of Bagan Pinang is right, so are the people of all other constituencies, you, me and all, who use our voting rights to pick our representatives. And it is always the case where we have to use our voting right every election only to see our rights are being misused and wasted to have any meaning of the word power, where in fact no matter how powerful is the people's power, it only last for good one election day, while the remaining five years the people's power last at the hand of one politician.

It takes the people five years to gather, save and accumulate their strength and turn it to power only to be wasted in one election day because it is not so much what this people's power can do, it's which people's power that is the most powerful that matters.

There's no such thing as people's power in this country when we have more than one people's power. We have all sorts of people's power, all we have is a divided people's power. We even have military people's power when military is supposed to be apolitical, we have the police people's power, we have kampung people's power, we have urban people's power, we have phantom people's power and we may even have dead people's power.

There's no such thing as people's power when a clean politician cannot win over a dirty one. All we have in this country is Dirty People's Power.

  16. sunwayopal,

I don't think those who whacked dr hassan ali are chinese only. I'm being a malay also couldn't jive with what he's done in Selangor where I live.

If we keep harping about race as propagated by BN, we'll just be status quo, ie: pointing finger against each of different race.

What we need is just to have good leaders that can devise policies for the benefits of the country. Otherwise, each and everyone of us will be easily manipulated to suite the needs leaders and not otherwise.

Just let's move on beyond BP.

If anything, let's look and discuss the failures of PR at BP so not to make the same mistake in future.

  19. sunwayopal,

don't be too sure not to blame postal vote for that was what made the biggest part of isa's majority. i never want to underestimate any kind of vote in an area where winning it can mean a different. if PAS mentality the same as yours then that's one reason why it lost.

i blame the postal vote because that is where BN made the most to secure it first to increase their chances and i blame it not because BN knows how to monopolise it but because PR always think of postal vote at the last moment when all efforts are already too little and too late.

    ReplyDelete
  20. The thing that made up the bulk of postal vote is the military and police with military being most significant. Until today I don't get it why military and police must get involved in voting whereas they are said not to be involved in politics for they are neutral and they serve any legitimate government of the people.

There's no meaning the military being apolitical, when they can vote they can be manipulated to be dragged into politics.

  23. Nxforget:

You need to read RPK reasoning PAS lost. Based on what I read at Malaysia Today, PAS didn't really work with the local and DAP/PKR. Is that right?

    ReplyDelete
  24. nxforget

Its not about Malays feeling Hassan Ali is correct or not correct.

You go round the blogs tonight and tomorrow, odds are you come across comments like :-

-PAS deserves to lose becoz its time we tought Hassan Ali and PAS a lesson or I bring my whole family to vote UMNO this time to teach PAS a lesson.

Most of these commentators , majority of them is Chinese. I mean, do they even realise what they are saying? Talk about the chinese deserve to get tindas under UMNO for being so stupid!

    FMZam,

I said the postal votes issue is rendered irrelevant in Bagan Pinang becoz we lost on the residential vote also.
Even if postal votes had been agreed by EC to be completely thrown out 100%, we still lost the Bagan Pinang "residents" vote.

How can postal votes be an issue? Kalo kita menang on the residents vote, then i agree lah, we can claim at least the postal votes screwed us, what to cakap now?

  25. sunwayopal,

i want to be brief and do not intend to make an issue out of this issue so i say it here, we cannot wait until postal votes become an issue to make it a factor. to say postal vote is not an issue after an election, see that it is always a factor before election.

  26. Anak,

On RPK article ... my guess is just good as yours.

On the ground level within the component parties of PR, the relationship could be casual and seasonal. So, when a candidate from certain party is to stand for election, only then they starting to organize their machinery. Other that that, it's just cordial relationship.

On the BN side, the relationship is always ongoing. It is either through the post each party representative is holding in the government or in it's business dealing.

    PS: It's just a thought.
