My Daughter Terrina sent me this:

No one should die, go blind, or be crippled because they can't afford health care. No one should go broke because they get sick. No one should be unable to change jobs because of a "pre-existing condition". If you agree, please post this as your status for the rest of the day.

  1. To Terrina Hussein,

In battle, any soldier may die, be blinded and crippled including doctors too because they went in healthy, came back casualty. Every ex-soldier living only on pension goes broke whether they are healthy or sick. Soldiers don't change job, the job changes a soldier to a robot.

  2. FMZ,

    You said it, I concur.

Many of my childhood friends join the army in the lower ranks and end-up as "jaga" at factories in my hometown.

Similarly, some of my cousins can't afford to give medical care to the ailing wife. It's not so much of the medical bills but the traveling expense to visit specialist that's distance away from home. Some of these people hold two job to make the end meets.

But, I have high regards for these friends and cousins, for all the hardship they're going through upon retirement, they allow their children to join the army. I guess, it's in the blood that flow in true patriots.
