The government is ready to set up a royal commission of inquiry (RCI) to probe the 1985 Memali tragedy if there is demand from any quarters, including families of the victims, says Deputy Prime Minister Zahid Hamidi.

He said the law must be upheld and the party responsible, held accountable.

“As home minister, I will personally study all the reports on the incident."

'Personally study' can be construed as a 'personal vendetta' against a political opponent, thus, abusing the office of the Home Ministry. 

I've suspected that there was a mole planted at NTH2 who was tasked to ask the question on Memali, followed by a violent fracas, which will get everyone's attention. 

The rest, as they say, is history .. being dug up and given a fresh coat of manure.

steadyaku47 comment : I shudder to think what would be in store for people like Zahid Jawa, that Bugis Warrior, that Bitch "every child is precious" Permata Lady, the AG, the IGP and the whole lot of dedak driven sycophants whose work is to keep safe and secure these corrupt BN politicians and their cohorts. 

Yes they are in the driving seat for now.....yes they call the shots on investigations and vendettas targeted at anyone that threatens the flow of dedak into their coffers.....but for how long can they go on doing this? How long before they start to understand that is it "when" not "if" they will have to answer for what they do in the name of government today.

That "when" nears by the day. 

Anwar Ibrahim is now in Sungai Buloh. Kit Siang. Guan Eng and Mat Sabu have all been incarcerated at some time of their political life. I have seen Tun Mahathir and his wife sitting by the roadside to be with those who are opposed to this BN regime. Some of our people have have died because they have, by their actions  threaten the survival of this corrupt BN government. Many more have had their love ones incarcerated, their freedom denied and basic human rights taken away from them because they dare to stand up and be counted in their opposition to corruption and money politics as done by Umno and BN. Ask yourself Zahn what awaits you after the people have voted at PRU14. Ask yourself Zahid if your family will be spared the treatment you have already meted out to those who you think are the enemies of Umno and BN. Being handcuffed is the least of your problems after PRU14....mark my words Zahid....that will really be the least of your problems. Pray that ALLAH will have mercy upon you for I know that the incoming Pakistan Harapan government and the Malaysian people will not!
