PAS has betrayed the people of Selangor
PKR vice president N Surendran says if PAS leaves Pakatan Rakyat (Pakatan) it will be a disaster for the Islamist party.
He said PAS should stand with Pakatan.
Surendran said, “Given their long struggle for a better Malaysia, we fully expect PAS to stand by us and the people of Selangor.
“Any other choice will be a disaster for PAS as a national political party.”
Surendran also described the actions of Menteri Besar Khalid Ibrahim as “a frontal and unconstitutional assault” upon the Selangor government and in “utter contempt” of the people of Selangor.
“Khalid’s act is thus one of the greatest betrayals in modern Malaysian political history,” he added.
The Selangor Menteri Besar came under fire yesterday after he terminated six Excos from DAP and PKR with the backing of the Sultan of Selangor. Khalid, however is backed by four PAS members.
You said "Any other choice will be a disaster for PAS as a national political party.”...and leaving Pakatan Rakyat will be a disaster for the Islamist party....betul ka ni?
I am inclined to think that NOT having PAS on side would be an unmitigated disaster for Pakatan Rakyat as Pakatan Rakyat would cease to exist....but then Pakatan Rakyat as a legal entity has never even been a legal reality!
Should PAS now chose to go it alone or with UMNO (not!)....I would think that the consequences would be a disaster for Pakatan Rakyat not PAS as having a "national" presence is not a priority for PAS.
Chose your words carefully....no sense in aggravating an already precarious situation for Pakatan Rakyat.
As for Khalid doing the "greatest betrayals act in modern Malaysian political history" ...aisehman was not Anwar once DPM in an Umno led Barisan Nasional government? I suggest Pakatan Rakyat deal with the fact that the same Anwar has been convicted by the courts on sodomy charges whereas the jury on Khalid's betrayal has still to even start deliberating!
Are you doing Anwar's bidding again?
Chill brother....listen to yourself talk and understand that every word you utter is being pull apart and questioned by many - me included.
The Selangor fiasco is running away from PKR and Pakatan Rakyat and now has a mind of its own. Only responsible and transparent deliberations by all concerned may resolved the issue in favor of Pakatan Rakyat.
Stay out of fray before you ruffle feathers that will harm PKR and Pakatan Rakyat chances to come out of this "situation" with hopefully some grace and some pride still intact.
