I am appalled at the manner Najib is handling this BERSIH 2.0 rally. Really appalled. Why can't he come up with something more imaginative then to use the same tired old SOP (standard operating procedure lah!) of rounding up all the usual suspects from his side of the equation to do his bidding for him.

Numero uno has to be that Din guy! Yeah that geek who is now having the time of his life playing at cops and robbers. Only this time he is playing at our expense! For being a bad bad boy they have has taken his Keris away but he still has his water cannons and PDRM's riot squad to unleash on his defenceless target : The Malaysian People! Din fancies himself as the nation's first line of defence against any threat to national security. The fact that about the only threat to our nation's security had come from Sukarno who declared "ganjang Malaysia" in the 1962-1966 era must have escaped this geek. And that "undeclared war" has been over since 1966! Musa Hitam had his "John Wayne" moment when he sent in the troops against Ibrahim Libya at Kampong Memali in November 1985. Memali was simply UMNO's way of winning a spate with PAS. The fact that 14 villagers and 4 policemen died because of this political spate is of no consequence to UMNO. There were just collateral damage. To add insult to injury Musa announced that the 14 villagers killed were criminals when in fact he was the criminal who ordered heavily armed Policemen to go in after villagers armed with a few hunting rifles and spears! ...and of course 36 of these villagers were arrested under the ISA in January 1986 but released in June.

So now Din's "John Wayne" moment is about to come but without the keris.

Let me digress a bit here. At one time the Keris was a symbol of manhood and a man is not a man without a Keris. And I know that some of you are already smiling knowing where I am going....now that his Keris has been taken away from him, is Din feeling inadequate because he is now without his "manhood?" Well as you all know there are two types of Keris: the straight one and the meandering one : my question to Din is this : is your manhood straight or meandering? Either way he is still minus his manhood!

Back to matters at hand...with all respect Din dare I suggest that you DO NOT...repeat DO NOT.. attempt to direct operations from Bukit Aman dressed in your Malay Baju with a patch over your eyes ala John Wayne in True Grit!

Next suspect in line is the IGP...actually it is a toss up between the AG and the IGP...because the AG must first declare that the Bersih 2.0 rally is illegal and then the IGP steps in to arrest all "those sonofabitch" as John Wanes succinctly puts it.

But the AG has already twice made an ass of himself in recent memory. One by having that "dalliance" of a sexual nature with is "nudge nudge, wink wink" work colleague. Second, by confirming that it takes an ass (himself) to allow another ass (his DPP) to make a ass of the AG's office by demonstrating the hitherto unknown "self-strangulation" technique during the Teoh Beng Hock inquest which shall now forever go down in the annuls of Malaysian folklore as being the one where the world first became aware that there were at least two asses in the AG's office!

Anyway...the IGP is now having his 15 minutes of infamy...or should that be fame? Either way he will still use the same script that we all know too well and Din is too dumb to "spice" up a bit - though he tried by throwing in the "communist threat to wage war with the King"...but upon reflection it was pointed out to Najib and Din that Chin Peng is now over 80 years old and would be unable to go into the jungle again without his medication and more to the point - Chin Peng cannot be in Sitiawan and be a threat to national security because the same BN government has refused him permission to come back! Still a national threat at over 80? Huh! Din did try to get the Queen to take back Chin Peng's OBE but Buckingham Palace said no can do unless Chin Peng did a "John Lennon" and send his OBE back to the queen himself!

Now that Din and this IGP has already wade in parroting their tired and tested lines of "a threat to national security"/"seditious act"/ "have to safeguard public order"/ "tension, chaos, the destruction of property, injury and even loss of life if the Bersih rally is held"... what else will come next?

RELA? Well I can tell you that RELA is already "bersedia" but I am still a bit vague if they have been given "arbitrary power of arrests" over anybody in yellow T shirt because knowing RELA's enthusiasm for exercising their "arbitrary powers" in the past they might just teamed up Jakim (Jabatab Kemajuan Islam for all you non-muslims in case you are educationally challenged!) to check if the ladies are wearing yellow bras and undies! Not that this will cause any discomfort to the BN government but what will RELA do with these ladies once they have been arrested for using yellow bra's and undies? More a problem of logistics then anything else! RELA simply do not have the resources to detain anybody without encroaching into PDRM's territory -and with the zeal demonstrated by the riot squad in previous "incidents", PDRM wants to do their "own thing" without having to lock up the "yellow peril" arrested by RELA.

And talking about the implied "Yellow Peril" of those wearing yellow in the Bersih 2.0 rally, I wonder why the Chinese do not complain about this to the BN government. I remember a time in the past when the Chinese immigrants were refereed to as the "Yellow Peril" or "Yellow Terror" when they immigrated in large numbers to western countries because they threatened the wage and standards of living of the countries they immigrated to! Is not the BN government implying the same thing with this recent crackdown - that anything in yellow, including the Chinese, are a threat to national security! To me this smack of racialism by the BN government and MCA should step in to do their duty to the Chinese community whom they claim to represent. Camna Soil Lek?

Everything seems to be in readiness for a battle royal in the lead up to this Bersih 2.0 rally. But like all sensible commanders who wants desperately to live not to fight another day but to share in the pillage and plunder in the aftermath of the Bersih Rally, UMNO and BN's political elites will be far far away from the chaos and riot that they are about to unleash by allowing Pekasa, UMNO youth and all their armies to vent their overwhelming force upon the defenceless Bersih rally participants.
   
Of course there will be running battles fought in the streets of Kuala Lumpur. There will be heads cracked open by the Riot Squad. Limbs broken whacked by the batons of PDRM. Bruises and blood will be par for the course and except for the few who will stand and fight for BERSIH 2.0 what we will see would be a Kuala Lumpur littered with the aftermath of a rally that the BN government has no shame in using for their own purpose.........

Unless the people rally in large numbers.

Stand together and

tell this BN government that enough is enough.

Without the numbers the people will be bullied mercilessly into submission by PDRM. Whether our people will have the courage and commitment to stand together against overwhelming force is to be seen. But the costs to the Rakyat in not doing may just be too much to bear if it allows BN and UMNO to continue to have their corrupt and arrogant way with us, our children and our country!

Of Dogs, Pigs and Malaysian Politicians.

Dogs are loyal and give unconditional love and loyalty to the hand that feeds them -even if the hand that feeds them belongs to a thief. Pigs loves to wallow in the swirl of their own filth. UMNO politicians are like dogs and pigs. Their source of wealth i.e. the hands that feeds them - belongs to UMNO. UMNO's demise is their demise. UMNO's needs to ensure that UMNO wins at the electoral post knows no limits. UMNO politicians lie, cheat, embezelled and steal for UMNO's survival. And to do this these politicians must wallow in the filth and sleaze of their own making. So there is no shame for UMNO to be called dogs or pigs because how can you not be one of them if you follow the very antics of dogs and pigs?
But what of the opposition? I see in Penang now that big business and state politicians are already working "closely" to "develop" Penang! Much too closley sometimes! But then where will Penang politicians be without the money to do things for their electors and for themselves. Sometimes more for themselves then for their electors. But then I digress...we are talking about dogs, pigs and UMNO politicians...and so we will go back to that for now. Penang can wait for now!

I find myself searching for adjectives to describe these politicians that seems to be in a world of thier own. If they can close the doors and shut the windows to their world and prevent any of us from looking into their sordid world it would be tolerable - but the reality is that each and every move they make are watched by everyone of us with interest, with amazement and of course with contempt. Do these politicians no longer care what they do and what we think of them?

Or do they think that they can bluff and bluster their way through any situation? That all that they would have to do to overcome any embarrasing situation is to sit through it all and through the passage of time, it will all go away. Has not Najib learned from Altantuya? That even with her blown to smittherins! With Razak Baginda wealthly in exile overseas! With the two UTK murderers behind bars! Altantuya still haunts Najib any which way he turns!

With Mahathir - he is now reduced to calling people names and trying to overcome his doing the way idiots do : trying to make light of great wrongs that they have done. Mahathir now thinks that is is amusing that people reffered to him as a dictator: that Ops Lallang is a laughing matter. He thinks that subjecting DSAI to physical and mental pain is a laughing matter and he makes light of it all when speaking about it now. It might be a laughing matter to him but not to those who were subjected to much physical and mental torture - them and their families. That this ex Prime Minister tries to draw a laugh from his audience everytime he refers to his dictatorial ways and to the abuses and mismangement under his rule is an indication of a senile mind. He is no longer able to give as good as he gets and falls back to sarcasm as a defense mechanism and laughter to deflect his abusive excesses during his time as PM. I think time will not be kind to him when the onslaught of senility advances upon him in the not to distant future.

Najib should know better! He wants to do the right thing but is not prepared to face the costs of doing so. I say he should know better because his exposure to life has been more a learning process. Najib is never one to rush into things until he is secure in the knowledge that he has nothing to lose by the decision he makes.From the time when he preferred to "kautim" with Rosmah's ex husband rather then go for broke to the time when he earned the grateful thanks of Mahathir when he finally decided to back Mahathir during the Two M's bebacle of UMNO in 1987 - Najib should have known better then to allow UMNO to descend to the level it now finds itself in.

How a Najib who himself is tainted by sexual allegations allowed UMNO to resort to sexual innuendos and sodomy high jinks if beyond my comprehension! He already has the murder of Altantuya swimming around him looking for a an opening to enveloped him within its grasps. His time in MINDEF is astounding because from the KSU and the Generals down - all of them were in cahoots to ensure their nests were well feathered when the time came for them to retire. And in retirement financially well rewarded positions were on offered for them to prostitute themselves demi kepentingan bangsa, negara dan lain lain and of course themselves.

Look at any infrastructure project around you. Look at any Banks, Insurance companies, any multi national entities, any government departments any law enforcement agencies - even the religious departements -they are all a minature of what has been happening and is still happening in MINDEF. Once the BN government has decided on an end, any means will justify that end. If there is a way to make money there will find it at the expense of our country and our people.

What is difference now is that we are all privy to each and everything that they do! This morning I saw for myself this Johari Abdul talking with the three Datuks about DSAI in living colour and all that I see could be rewind, paused and looked at my leisure at my will. I can go to Johari's press conference and to the three Datuks press conference - compare notes and listen to what they all say and look for any tell tale indications of lies or exagerations - and after going through it all - I MAKE MY OWN DECISION AS TO WHO SPEAKS THE TRUTH AND WHO LIES...and the sad part is this - these booldy politicians still think they can pull the wool over our eyes - or to be more exact - they still think that we cannot think for ourselves!

Whatever has been kept under the Official Secrets Act. All those abuse of the tender systems, the negotiated tenders - everything that has happened under UMNO and BN over all these years will eventually come out - if not bit by bit then in one avalanche when another governmnet takes over from BN. Another government that will be elected by the people and hence will have to listen to the people. And power will then reside where it rightly should : In the hands of the people. So I have no fear that an elected Pakatan Rakyat government will not listen to what the people will want them to do. For to not do so will certainly be a fatal error for Pakatan Rakyat. The days of us kowtowing to politicians will end with this 13th general elections....and if these politicians thinks otherwise go tell them that they are dreaming!

The Truth. Nothing but the Truth!

Let us do some straight talking here. I can write good or bad on just about any politician in Bolehland - in BN or Pakatan Rakyat. I would confess that I would be clutching at straws when it comes to Tok Guru and there are a few that I would rather leave alone not because they are unblemished but simply because they are doing their best demi kepentingan bangsa, negara dan lain lain. For most politicians in Bolehland trying to write good about them would be an effort indeed but as I said, if I want to write good about them I will find something.

Have I thought about writing for a living....or to be blunt, will I write for money?
I would consider doing it. Writing is work to me.You get paid to work so why not me? But what if I am asked to write about things that I do not believe in? What if I am asked to make up stuff that would damage the reputation of the politician I am writing about? Will I do it? To be honest I have not been confronted with such a choice - but if I am to write for money sooner or later I will be asked to do so - and when I am asked to do so I am sure the money on offer to me to do so would be tempting. What will I do?

This I know. I have been talking with a few people who have read what I write and were "talking" with me about "working" together. They are from UMNO, MIC and the opposition. Nothing has eventuated. I simply want to be paid for my "writing" work and to have my costs covered - not to make money from my writing.Not because I do not have stories to tell! I have stories to tell but I would rather be paid to work at writing on my blog - not to do expose or dig up dirt about these politicians from Bolehland. If in the course of what I write these politicians have their private lives and wrong doings expose - then so be it.

I am writing this to let you all know that I am still a free agent. Yes I hantam BN and UMNO politicians but it is because for now that is what I choose to do. Politicians in the opposition too have their stories to be told but I sincerely believe that of the two evils -Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Rakyat - you all know where I stand for now.

What I hope to do for now is to write on the situation in Malaysia "as I see it" to quote our beloved Tunku. I have no hidden agenda. No vested interest and certainly I am not writing for money. Will this change in the foreseeable future? Maybe. Every body has his or her price and I am not that naive to think that I cannot be bought. What has transpired so far would make interesting reading for most of you but I know there are areas that even I would not want to go simply because it would be a breach of confidence to those that choose to "talk" to me on these matters.

Enough of all this for now. Expect the unexpected. I know that to be able to write about anything I would need to identity some element of truth in what I write - the embellishment and the stretching of this element of truth to make the telling of the story interesting is something I might or might not do to add "oommph" to the story!

Call me a hypocrite. Call me a mercenary. You can even call me a taxi if you want to but as I have said earlier I work at writing. Do not begrudge me in trying to earn a living by doing so but in as long as I can be true to myself and my beliefs, then nothing else really much matters.

Bersih supporters nabbed for waging war against King

KUALA LUMPUR, June 26 — The police said today they are probing an alleged attempt by some Bersih activists to revive communism, and are investigating 30 Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) members, including Sungai Siput MP Dr Michael Jayakumar for “waging war against the Yang DiPertuan Agong.” 
Deputy Penang police chief Datuk Abdul Rahim Jaafar was quoted by Astro Awani as saying today that remand orders would be applied for to detain the 30 activists under Section 122 of the Penal Code.

I have been too lazy to write anything these last two days. No excuses...just plain lazy. I have not had a look at any of the local papers or anything on the net - that is until a few minutes ago when I had this comment from one of our friends on something I had just posted:

And I went straight to my preferred news source "Malaysian Insider" and saw their posting above. As I read that piece a very deep anger started to surge through me. Just when you think that they cannot top the Carcosa Tapes this Din guy, on Najib's and UMNO's instruction of course, tells us that they are investigating 30 PSM members etc for waging war against the Agong!

You son of a bitch Din and you idiotic Najib why the bloody hell do you need to drag the Agong into your dirty insidious plots? There is simply nobody around - and I mean not only in Malaysia but in the whole wide world that would have the slightest inclination to wage war against the Agong! They will be people who will want to wage war against Barisan Nasional, against UMNO and even against Rosmah - but the Agong? Do you really think you will be able to convince the Agong to start wearing bullet proof vest just in case a sniper tries to take him out? What about building a bunker in the grounds of his Palace (at least some of your cronies can make a few million ringgit there!). 

Will there be a dawn to dusk curfew announced so that you can go and nip this "war thing" in the bud before they nip you in your backside? And of course all those suspected of doing this must be communist. And in Malaysia only the Chinese can be communist. So round up the Chinese before they have a chance to start this war with the Agong? 

Najib and Din please think....this is the year 2011. There might be some communist around in Malaysia - for all I know they might have already penetrated into UMNO, BN and where ever you want them to be. But to accuse the communist of wanting to wage war against the Agong is making a lot of Malaysian....and I mean a hell of a lot of Malaysian...start shaking their head in disbelief at the sheer stupidity of this latest UMNO/BN caper! Come on lah Din did you just found out that Chairman Mao is really alive and well and is now living either in Penang, Kedah, Selangor or Kelantan? And you are going all out to expose these four states for harbouring Chairman Mao? And while you are looking for Chairman Mao go look for Chou En Lai too...he is too smart to be left alone to plot UMNO's and BN downfall! But do not bother to look for Deng Xiaopeng because by all accounts he is dead!

We Malaysians do accept that BN and UMNO are pretty amateurish in all their plotting and attempts to implicate the opposition and any one that they think are against them. We have suffered in silence at the ridiculous manner you have tried to blame the opposition for any and everything! Nothing seems to be BN or UMNO's doing! ISA arrests are because those arrested are a national threat. The Police go whack Malaysian citizens because they too are a threat to the nations security. Liong Sik, Lingam, Razak Baginda, JJ, Thamby Chik and every other dirty crook that have evolved from UMNO's doings are not prosecuted to the full extent of the law because "they must not be denied due process blah blah blah". But when it comes to your attempts to stop BERSIH 2.0 nothing is sacred. You drag down the name of the Agong to excuse your efforts in investigating these 30 PSM members. 

I can only say this. Can the Agong, just this once, stand up and speak for himself? Or better still let me ask him myself. Tuanku do you believe this Din and Najib when he tells you that these 30 PSM members wants to wage war on you? Wage war when you have the Army, the Navy and the RMAF protecting you? Wage war with you Tuanku when PDRM is sworn to protect you? And do not forget the UTK!!!

And against all the might of the Defence Force - and we hope that the Submarines can be deployed if thought necessary to defend the Agong( at least if not to selam at least to float on the surface!) - these 30 PSM members wants to wage war against the Agong?

Din these 30 PSM members - whoever they are - are not as stupid as you. If you tells us that Singapore is thinking of waging war against the Agong the people might go...Hmmmmmm maybe. If you have said that Indonesia has declared July 2011 as "ganjang Agong" month...again we might go ...Hmmmmm. But if you are that stupid to say that 30 PSM members are going to wage war on the Agong then I only have this to say...and I say this without any disrespect to your late Father and Grandfather -Tun Hussein and Dato Onn.

This is the only excuse Din has...and I do want you all to take this seriously. It is a scientific fact that even if your father is a genius or a great leader...it has been known that a father's good genes sometimes skip one or two generations. So for Dato Onn his good genes has already been passed on to Tun Hussein. But Tun Hussein's good genes seems to have skipped a generation with you - because you are indeed an idiot of the highest order. 

Ditto for Najib!

You missed one important factor that is common to these two morons. Their mothers are sisters. It is not their father good genes did not pass down to them. It is just their mothers bad genes overcame their fathers. Maybe as you said, it is exacerbated by their fathers good genes skipping a generation.

KUALA LUMPUR: The magistrate's court here today slapped 'Datuk T' with fines after they pleaded guilty to public screening of a sex video on March 21.

Businessman Datuk Shazryl Eskay Abdullah and Perkasa former treasurer-general Datuk Shuib Lazim were fined RM3,000 and RM1,500 respectively.


Former Melaka chief minister Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Thamby Chik was fined

RM1,000 for abetting Shazryl and Shuib.


Magistrate Aizatul Akmal Maharani passed the sentence after listening to

mitigating factors. The punishment is effective today.


Shazryl and Shuib were charged under Section 292 (A) of Penal Code (Act 574) and punishable under Section 292 and read together wioth Section 34, which

carries a three years' jail term or fine or both if convicted.


Rahim was charged under Section 292 (a) of Penal Code (Act 574) read
together with Section 109 of Penal Code.

What the three idiots did was a calculated gamble to shame DSAI and destabalize Pakatan Rakyat. And it was done while UMNO and Barisan Nasional cheered on their contemptable deed confident in the knowledge that Barisan Nasional will ensure that if the calculated gamble did not succeed - as it did not - then the three idiots, at the very most, will be given a slight slap on their head -and that slap too would be given by a bloody pondan of a magistrate!

If it is of any comfort to DSAI I know that if anything, this latest caper by Najib and his goons has driven another nail into Barisan Nasional coffin.

THE THREE ULATS

These three sleezy poor ass excuse of a human being are the very manifestation of how low UMNO has allowed itself to sink to. In the middle is that Rahim Thambi Chik - a child molester  - no worst, a pedophile - the Chief Minister of a Barisan Nasional State that raped an underage Malay school girl. UMNO and the then Prime Minister Mahatahir saw it fit to let him go free without any punishment or censure and instead incarcerated Lim Guan Eng, a lawyer who came to the defend of that underage Malay School girl. What does UMNO do? He is still a Tan Sri - bringing shame to other Tan Sri's who have earned their right to that honour. He is now Chairman of RISDA - a government agency! And all this UMNO has allowed to happen because they still have use of this pedophile and rapist to do their dirty work for them! 

Another one proudly proclaims that he was a willing participant in the sex video and swears in the name of ALLAH that he is witnessed to the sex act. And we know of his dealings to earn "commission" on projects and tenders awarded by this insidious BN government and yet this Najib government allows this eager participant of money politics to try and gain mileage and traction out of this sex tape caper. Why?

And the other f#*king bastard look as slimy as a snake, talks like a snake and so must be a snake! And it would seems that only he seems to realize that maybe, just maybe, UMNO is no longer amused by their antics -even if it was really UMNO that had set them up to do same!

But simply put -look at the three very very closely and you will see in them what UMNO really is! Everything and anything evil the three of them have done in the past serves only to "enhance" their usefulness to UMNO.And of course only "titled" idiots  - in this case one Tan SRi and two f#8king datuks - are given the 'responsibility" of going after DSAI -as if their credibility is "enhanced" by the titles they carry. I spit on their tittle! The three is the public face of UMNO now! They, together with the Ibrahim son of Ali were "chosen" to fight UMNO's battle for UMNO - all of them desperate to be accepted back as "UMNO ELITES" -what elites? More like ulats to me!

As a Malay I am ashamed that three so called titled Malays will do what they have done. And as a Malay I am ashamed that my Perdana Mentri has allowed this to happen. If this does not make the Rakyat understand the desperateness of UMNO to try and cling to power then what else will? But I think we all do understand how low UMNO has levelled off too...pretty soon they will have to start to dig to go any lower and their UMNO and BN followers will follow them - but only out of a morbid curiosity to see where the hell these UMNO leaders are heading to...God help UMNO because the Malays certainly will not!

Is this the same USA that told us that there were weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq? The same USA that some Malaysian had to pay money to just so Mahathir could meet with their President? The same USA that was responsible for the killing of innocents in Vietnam (Mai Lai) in Afghanistan and in everywhere country that they have fought to supposedly free the people of that country from the tyranny of terrorism?

Speaking for myself I have already made up my mind many years ago that I want that political party call UMNO to be call to account for plundering the wealth of our country in the name of Ketuanan Melayu! Did I not as a Malay had more than my fair share of the nation's wealth? Yes I did! Did I not as Bumiputra secured tenders and projects because of my "know who" rather then my "know how?" Yes I did. Did I not because of the corruption that I then willingly took part in, received unfair advantage over other Malays and non Malays contractors? You bet I did!

And why do I now denounce they very UMNO that made it possible for us Malays to have all these advantages in commerce? Why must I now turn on the very hand that fed me in the past? Why have I become so ungrateful for what this UMNO has done for us Malays?

Let me tell you why! Just as I was able to secure tenders because of my "know who" rather then my "know how" - there is always somebody who knows more "who" them me! How can I compete against the likes of a YB's cousin, a brother to a Minister and what more the son of the Prime Minister?

Just as I was willing to pay money to secure tenders and projects there is always someone else willing to pay more then me because they know the system better then me and are able to "load" on the increase in "kautim money" onto to the total cost of the tender or project by some "variation order" or "add on" that will still allow them to make a healthy profit.

The system that I so enthusiastically embrace when I started to do "business" with the government eventually swallowed me whole! Costing of any projects was not a technical issue anymore - of course there was the basic costs of the project - once that was established then the "add ons" started.How much does the consultant wants? How much for JKR? - From the technicians all the way up to Samy Velu! What about the political secretary to the Minister in charge? And of course the Minister himself...and then they began to talk cock! What about UMNO, what about MCA (if the project is under the Ministry of Transport. MIC if it was under JKR...and if the project is big enough...what about the Prime Minister? Do all these leeches really get their share of the loot? I do not really know - but just look at how rich these leeches. How rich Samy Velu is. How rich these ex cabinet ministers are. The KSU's. The ex political secretaries....I rest my case.

Time and time again I saw that the cream of these projects where millions if not billions are to made will go to the usual suspects. Mahathir's and Daim's cronies. The same Chinese towkays. The same Malay insiders. And as each and every projects are "fatten up" to accommodate these greedy cronies we started seeing the mega projects starting to fail. Fail because these projects became a source of much wealth to UMNO and Barisan Nasional. Failed because the priority was how to bleed more wealth from these projects not complete them. Failed because it was simply easier to abandon the project because everybody (including the main contractor!) have already made their money even before the site has been cleared for construction work...hell the money started to roll in for these UMNO and Barisan Nasional politicians from the time these projects were given a "Title or Project name". They start selling the project "atas angin."

I saw all this right from the first small contract I got from MINDEF for the supply of water tanks....small water tanks on two wheels. I got the contract to supply 22 of these tanks and right from my first visit to MINDEF to be told that I was awarded the contract I already had to "award" the officer in charge his part of the "contract."

When I was an Insurance Broker entertaining clients to secure accounts from multi national companies was par for the course. We had a joint venture company with a London based insurance broker and when our multi national clients went to London for what ever reason - we had to take care of their accommodations in London as a matter of "courtesy to these clients of ours!

I cannot in all honesty remember a single sizable contract that we had secured, whether in trading, construction of electrical that did not require us to grease the palm of those that decided our fate either in the award of the project or the payments for work done. These damm bastards had our balls in their hands and when they squeezed we did what they wanted us to do - whether it was money, women or whatever that tickled their fancy.

I did all this and more during my time of doing business in KL. I can excuse myself for saying that I had to do what I had to do to survive but if truth be told what it did to me was to show me how the other half lived....and what I as their running dog had to do to keep them happy. Even then I looked upon them with contempt because I was exposed to so many insidious aspect of business that had nothing to do with how a business should be run. Nothing to do with teaching a bumiputra how to be a good business man. I failed as a businessman and so did many many Malays. We failed because we did not make enough money to survive the leeches that keep asking us for more and more money if we wanted more tenders and more projects.

Do you wonder why I now have had my fill of these UMNO and Barisan Nasional politicians? No they did not give me projects - we gave them money. Plenty of it! Billions of ringgits have been skimmed of the top of all these projects and contracts - from the class D to the Mega mega projects. From those contract awarded to cut the grass for DBKL to the IPP contracts given to the cronies of Mahathir! Each and everyone of the projects awarded by EPU have cost our country much much more then what it was really worth. And now all these billion wasted have come back to haunt us and more telling, to haunt UMNO and Barisan Nasional.

Now all that UMNO and Barisan Nasional knows is to fight the opposition with money. Everything they do costs money. Everything they do NOT want to do too cost money! They buy over the MP's to take over Perak and then pay them more to make sure they do NOT talk! Only money will move the sahabats within UMNO to fight for UMNO. Money will persuade the Chinese within MCA to elect a President who has got his image plastered globally in a sex video! Those people that have elected this Soil Lek must really have no sense of responsibility or decency towards the Chinese people by forcing upon them a President such as this Soil Lek.

So UMNO bring on as many Carcosa tapes that you might still have in your vaults about DSAI. Get your MACC to go find all those sardines within Pakatan Rakyat that you said have taken thousands of ringgits from the Rakyat.Go and instruct PDRM to hassle the opposition politicians with your bloody ISA - but understand this : With the Internet we will know in real time anybody incarcerated under the ISA. We will know in real time any one tortured under the ISA. And what I think is more frightening for UMNO and Barisan Nasional is this: You have within the innermost confines of your ranks many people who are sympathetic of our cause -the fight for and open and transparent government. These people will tell us what you are doing that is wrong for the Rakyat. These people will leak documents and whatever is required to show the deceit and lies that UMNO and Barisan Nasional have perpetrated onto its own people. These "sleeper" within UMNO and Barisan Nasional will wake up when we need them. So be afraid. Be very afraid!

So believe this Najib. We cannot see what else you can come up with that will shake our resolve to vote against Barisan Nasional. We cannot see how you will personally survive the "Altantuya factor" once Muhyiddin decides that he wants to be Prime MInister! You know this, we know this and the people know this! I know you will not simply lie down and go into the foetal position waiting for your exit because Rosmah will not allow you to do so - but has anyone told Rosmah that she is part of the problem and not part of the solution? Anyway you look at it Najib the end for you is near...and then we will chase BN out of Parliament at the 13th general elections. MERDEKA.

This morning I came across Low Weiyan. I do not know him and yet as I listened to what he had to say I knew that this was one of those times when you use the social media to tell others what you feel deep inside you. No you do not need courage to do this. You do not need to be a member of any political organization. You do not even have to be of any ethnic or religious persuasion. You just need to feel that enough is enough! You have been quiet long enough! You have seen people around you afraid to say anything simply because they think that the powers that be will stop anyone from saying what is in their hearts!

And what is in our hearts? We want free and fair elections. We want no corruption by those in high public office. We want no corruption by those sworn to protect the very people they steal money from - and yes we are talking about Barisan Nasional Politicians and PDRM and all those corrupt officials that feeds off the Rakyat! We want no deaths in custody! We want a transparent and responsible government.

What moved me was that Wei is young. Where are our young Malaysians who we need to join the front ranks of BERSIH 2.0? Where are the young Malaysians that we need to lead our country back to decency. Back to a Malaysia for all? It is time these young Malaysian take their place shoulder to shoulder with BERSIH 2.0 and with all those that dare to challenge a Barisan Nasional government that has for too long treated its own people with contempt! Enough is enough.

What moved me is that this Low Weiyan is not an anonymous blogger hidden somewhere on the world wide web. He tells you who he is...he talks direct to Najib and to us and what he says is simply this :

Go join the BERSIH 2.0 Rally because it will signal to the Barisan Nasional that the people want change!" Do you understand that people? A people who have I have seen often quizzing their navigation of Malaysian society that seems ever so fragmented. I hope that you get the message I have set out to spread and share it with others.

I honestly thought I could do a better job. I realized there was alot more i could have talked about or at the very least articulated myself better. However this wasn't scripted and was a spur of the moment sort of thing.

Things got off to a terrible start when a technician got the schedules of the news reports mixed up resulting in a smiling, middle-aged woman appearing on screen - and staying there for an uncomfortably long time - as the presenter announced the anniversary of the defection of Rudolph Hess. Shearer quipped: "Apologies, that obviously wasn't who we thought it was." . Then, when they cut back to Shearer in the studio, somebody had turned her microphone off and she appeared silently mouthing words before the audio returned just in time for her to say: "... some technical problems." The clip uploaded on Friday is becoming a YouTube hit with more than 140,000 views. It isn't the first time the station has suffered from technical gremlins.

If only we can train UMNO to do this!

In the Weiner age, the member is the message

Forty-six-year-old Democrat Anthony Weiner is sharp faced and sharp tongued.

He's had to be tough, not only because he represents parts of Queens and Brooklyn, but because he's travelled through life with a challenging surname, which also happens to be a slang term for penis.
The relevance of this will soon become clear.
His wife is a senior aide to Hillary Clinton. He had his sights set on succeeding the high profile Michael Bloomberg as Mayor of New York, which seemed entirely plausible, until it all came unstuck over a reckless tweet.
The tweet, sent from his account, showed a picture of the lower torso of an aroused man in grey boxer briefs. From the angle it was taken, it suggested a self portrait. It was sent unsolicited to a 21-year-old female student in Seattle.
But it was when it also showed up in the inbox of combative conservative blogger and activist Andrew Breitbart that his world really started falling apart.
Even then, America's unseemly crotch shot scandal might have quietly fizzled out on the inside pages of the tabloids but for a series of truly bizarre television explanations given by the voluble Weiner. He couldn't seem to help himself.
After denying sending it and saying his Twitter account had been hacked, he astonished reporters by also declaring that he couldn't say "with certitude", that the picture wasn't his.
When CNN's Wolf Blitzer struggled to believe that the congressman wouldn't know his own underpants, Weiner offered "I don't know what photographs are out there in the world of me. I don't know what things have been manipulated and doctored."
On ABC America he was equally unconvincing "I am reluctant to say definitively anything about this."
He was also strangely reluctant to call in the FBI. The mere whiff of an online security breach on Capitol Hill is normally enough for that.
Weiner said he didn't want to make a 'federal case' out of it, joking about his name and dismissing it as a prank, as he tried to explain to chasing reporters why he preferred to use a private security firm instead.
It was soon apparent why.
His conservative nemesis Andrew Breitbart had other pictures.
"I've seen a lot of this congressman's body and he's in very good shape", an exultant Breitbart told reporters, gatecrashing a hastily convened Weiner press conference.
Other embarrassing photos were produced including a shirtless congressman flexing and posing at his desk, with a framed picture of former President Clinton visible over his shoulder.
Mercifully Breitbart decided to withhold one X rated shot that he judged too graphic for publication.
A humiliated Weiner trudged to the podium soon after to admit to "terrible mistakes", the veins on his neck standing out as he confessed everything in an excruciating half hour.
Fighting back tears, he said the male groin shot was indeed of him and that after tweeting it, he'd panicked. To a stunned room he also confessed to many other 'inappropriate" Twitter and Facebook exchanges stretching over three years, including explicit messages and photographs sent to at least half a dozen women.
"I've not been honest with myself, my family, my constituents, my friends, my supporters and the media", he said. He apologised repeatedly to his wife, who he only married last year.
Weiner says he lied because he was embarrassed and while it was dumb; he didn't break the law or his oath of office and wouldn't be resigning.
That may not be for him to decide.
An ethics probe has already been ordered and his political allies have quickly vanished.
He says he didn't use his congressional office or any government resources but can't vouch for every exchange. One of the women he pursued says she received over a hundred direct online messages from the congressman.
In the world of virtual sex it's also impossible to know if any of his online partners were underage.
He has 45,000 followers on Twitter and says using social networks was a good way of getting his political message out, but after this tawdry meltdown some in Washington are asking if politicians should ever risk engaging personally on social networking sites.
Online magazine Politico reported that Twitter is so concerned about an overreaction on Capitol Hill the online networking service has sent an email to congressional offices offering security tips.
The episode is all the more damaging for Democrats because Weiner was one of the party's most effective scrappers in the US House of Representatives. Not anymore.
Teenagers are constantly warned about the dangers of sexting. Now it seems US Congressmen need to be protected from themselves too. It also serves as a reminder of the political axiom - the cover up is usually worse than the crime.
As the scandal unfolded Weiner was prone to making bad jokes at his own expense, apologising for being "a little bit stiff" one day and quipping to reporters that the shot of his bulging briefs could turn out to be "the point of Al Qaeda's sword".
He isn't laughing now.

Yesterday, I posted an article about the despicable conduct of MACC officers who tried to inflict a last minute humiliation on Dato’ Ramli Yusuff and his family by visiting his house and making the whole neighborhood know that the MACC have unfinished business with Dato’ Ramli.

Just an hour ago, the Court of Appeal sitting in Kota Kinabalu made it clear and in no uncertain terms that it would not condone AG Gani Patail’s malicious conduct against Dato Ramli and dismissed AG Gani Patail’s appeal.
These are the judges of the august Court of Appeal:

Appearing for the AG’s office was DPP Ahmad Bache while Dato’ Seri Shafiee Abdullah represented Dato’ Ramli.

Readers would remember that IGP Musa Hassan and AG Gani Patail had used the MACC to fix-up Dato’ Ramli Yusuff  who was then the Director CCID in order cover up for their involvement in the release of a gambling syndicate operator, Goh Cheng Poh @ Tengku Goh and the MAS Scandal. Instead of charging the real crooks, they charged the Dato Ramli! With that they managed to close both cases.

In the Sabah case, the MACC fabricated stories about Dato Ramli using a police Cessna for personal use, whereas at that time, Dato Ramli was on official duty in full uniform escorted by other uniformed personnel. Dato’ Ramli’s trip was serious police business to survey the porous Sabah border because Dato’ Ramli had earlier controlled the Abu Sayaf infiltration when he was CPO Sabah.

The falsehoods perpetrated by AG Gani Patail through DPP Kevin Morais became very clear when the MACC amended the charge several times throughout that trial. DPP Kevin even fixed the arrangement of witnesses by calling the two pilots as the last witnesses as PW73 and PW74.

Kevin Morais knew that the flight path log sheet which is a requirement of the Department of Civil Aviation would show that this was an operational flight and not for personal use. Further, the statements of the pilots would have doomed the MACC’s case from the very beginning. So, in a very cunning way, Kevin Morais decided not to call the pilots first. This would enable the MACC to drag the case, deplete Dato Ramli’s resources, humiliate him publicly and make the Police citizens forget him.

So, the trial went on for 57 days with 75 witnesses with former IGP Musa Hassan  who appeared as the last and 75th witness – PW75. Musa Hassan’s task was to disagree and rebut all the evidence given earlier by the other police witnesses. Musa Hassan’s conduct of fabricating evidence was very reminiscent of his role in Sodomy I where he was dubbed as the Mattress Carrier.

Musa’s conduct must have so revolted Judge Supang Lian who did not mince her words when she condemned Musa Hassan as “an incredible witness whose evidence is not to be believed”.

That is why I worry when I am told that Musa Hassan has been appointed as Pensyarah Utama (Principal Lecturer) at the Law and Mass Communication School in UiTM. What would Musa Hassan be teaching these students? Will he be teaching them how to fabricate evidence and fix-up people and then make it believable by some public relations or mass communication trickeries? Is that how UiTM wants to be known for? Woe to this august bumiputera institution of higher learning!

I am happy for Dato Ramli for yet another round of vindication. I hope AG Gani Patai will stop any further vindictiveness against him. I hope IGP Ismail Omar will now reinstate Dato Ramli to his post and that the JPA will pay him all his pensions, gratuities and emoluments. Enough is enough!

I am happy that the prayers of all decent Malaysian have been answered by God. I am happy that these Judges of the Court of Appeal have restored our hopes and faith that eventually the truth will prevail!

Abuse of Power : A Barisan Nasional "thing"

KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 — Former Sabah police chief Datuk Ramli Yusoff was cleared by the Court of Appeal today of power abuse, four years after being charged for using a police helicopter for personal use.
The court's decision means that Ramli (picture) — once a top contender for the police force’s highest post with Tan Sri Musa Hassan who finally won the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) hat — can no longer be prosecuted over the case.
A three-man Bench led by Court of Appeal judge Datuk Sulong Matjeraie, which sat in Kota Kinabalu, unanimously agreed to uphold the High Court’s decision to acquit Ramli when they struck out the Attorney-General’s appeal.
The case had started in the Sessions Court, which also ruled Ramli innocent without his defence being called.
Ramli had been indicted on charges of abusing his position as Sabah police commissioner when he flew then Brigadier-General Mohamad Yasin Yahya aboard a Royal Malaysian Police Cessna Caravan helicopter on June 15, 2007 to survey two plots of land in Ulu Tungku, Lahad Datu.
The ex-cop, who was also once director of the Kuala Lumpur Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID), was acquitted in the Sessions Court last year on three counts of failing to declare his assets and breaching the law preventing public servants from being involved in private businesses.

Tired of bowing our heads not in respect or submission to this bullying but bowing our heads because for now that is all we can do against a much stronger bully. And they mistake this for respect?
As each abuse by BN is exposed: At each vile act that BN perpetrated on an innocent Rakyat: For each death cause by this corrupt BN government: For all this that they do to us - we will know what to do when we cast out votes at the 13th general elections.

I think I know how Datuk Ramli Yusoff will vote. I think I know how the family of Teoh Beng Hock, Kugan, Aminurasyid and Sarbani will vote. So many people abused and and so many people affected and so many votes waiting to be cast to reflect the anger of the Rakyat against a BN government that has gone mad! Do you not think there is enough of them and us to ensure that never again will our country be torn apart and its coffers emptied by corrupt and arrogant BN politicians.

Court clears ex-cop Ramli Yusoff of power abuse

We are now witnessing the very public suicide of UMNO and Barisan Nasional - not the taking down of DSAI. And certainly not of Pakatan Rakyat!

Let me explain....late last year I watched the antics of PKR and DSAI and thought that if UMNO gave them enough rope, they would have hung themselves by early 2011. If anything could go wrong with a political party election it did with PKR. And it all came to a head with the inglorious flight of Zaid Ibrahim away from PKR.

What else could go wrong for DSAI?

Well bloggers started turning against him in droves and vented their dissatisfaction and anger at DSAI on their blogs and anywhere on the electronic media that would hear their tales. I watched all this unfold from afar and asked myself if Najib will give DSAI enough rope?

No Najib did not have the wisdom to do so. Instead he went in for the kill - or so he thought! He rev ed up Sodomy 2 a notch and then went for broke with the three stooges and their Carcosa tapes! I guess he does not understand what "overkill" means!

Overkill is the use of excessive force or action that goes further than is necessary to achieve its goal, most commonly in acts of violence.

We saw the result of the Cold War between the USSR and America - where each had much much more nuclear arsenal than was necessary to kill the other many times over. Both were running neck to neck as the only two super powers in the world...and the USSR  blinked! Russia was so preoccupied with winning the race that it forgot to take care of the people they were governing - in the end the USA is still a super power - but the only super power around today. The USSR is kaput!

The same with Najib and UMNO. There are so focused on getting rid of DSAI in order to retain power that they are unable to comprehend the costs of doing it to themselves. After PKR party's election last year there was no need to pursue DSAi with sodomy 2 or the Carcosa tapes. But they went for the overkill and now they are getting themselves butchered!

This week Najib welcomed Mugabe to the Langkawi International Dialogue. Imagine having one of the worlds reviled despotic leader of a tin pot alley African country be the guest of honour at a so called international forum in our country! Are we that bankrupt of reputable world leaders that we need to scrap the bottom of the barrel and go look for Mugabe?

Rosmah on her own was able to grab first place in this fight between DSAI and Najib - observe that it is a fight between DSAI and Najib and Rosmah grabs first place in terms of being able to hold our attention longest! You simply cannot put this good spoiler away until she has done terminal damage to her husband and the government he leads! Just as I though the attention would once again be thrust upon DSAI along came Rosmah with her Hermes handbag, air brushed portraits and official trips abroad by this self proclaimed First Lady. But as in all these situation this Rosmah is oblivious to harm she does - she is too full of herself to notice!

Then Najibs decision to allow Perkasa and Mahathir to act as UMNO's proxy in its losing fight to promote Ketuanan Melayu will be a decision that will surely come back to haunt Najib in the lead up to the 13th general election. And he compounds this by trying to use Perkasa to neutralize BERSIH 2.0 - an exercise in futility because again Najib sees it fit to hide behind Perkasa rather then do the right thing for the Rakyat of Malaysia.

What about the "wedding" trip to Kazakhstan and his daughter's grand engagement? Najib's nightmares continues! How he is unable to forsee the adverse effects these extravagance will have on the Rakyat does brings into question his ability to be in touch with the people he is Prime Minister of!

Are Najib and UMNO amateurs? Pakatan Rakyat, and especially DSAI, must be rubbing their hands in glee. Unable to believe the ease with which UMNO was able to present themselves as the sacrificial lamb at the altar of Malaysian Politics. And so these last few months have seen the rise and rise of Pakatan Rakyat and DSAI - quiet like the rise of the Phoenix.

But enough of this banter. The 13th general election cometh and the time has come for Pakatan Rakyat to take the initiative. There is one thing Pakatan Rakyat must understand and understand well. Stop running down Barisan Nasional because the people within Barisan Nasional are quiet capable of doing it themselves. With people like Mahathir, Najib, Muhyiddin, Nazri, Chua Soil Lek and Samy Velu helping out Pakatan Rakyat is on to a winner here. The one thing that Pakatan Rakyat needs to understand is this : Barisan Nasional is not casting their voters - the Rakyat is the one with the votes to cast. So focus on the Rakyat NOW! Tell us again why we need to vote for Pakatan Rakyat and not Barisan Nasional. Tell us what you will do when you are elected and we will hold you to your promises of open and fair government. Remember this and Pakatan Rakyat will form government with the coming of the 13th general election - so help me GOD!
