The program in which, according to themalaymailonline, Tun Mahathir admitted that he was a "dictator" during his tenure as the longest-serving prime minister, is 60 Minutes - and it was aired yesterday on Channel 9 in Melbourne at 7PM last night (Sunday night).
I watched the program and listened to everything that Tun had to say to the Australian interviewer. You can also click this link to watch the program :https://www.9now.com.au/60-minutes/2016/episode-8
And since the program is 60 mins long you can go straight to minute 25 for the start of "Dirty Secrets" that is relevant to Malayisa.
The interviews said " During his reign as Malaysia's prime minister...(Mahathir ) himself (was) dubbed a dictator ...yet that has not detered him from speaking out against his successor, prime minsiter Najib Razak...
And to that Mahathir said this " Well if you have a dictator who is dedicated to serving the people I think it is not a bad thing to have power...but if you have a man who is not a dictator but abuses everything (meaning Najib)......".
So decide for yourself whether what that lying malaymailonline was reporting the whole "truth" or was it reporting a "truth" that served its own political masters.
