Rafizi and Invoke

Has anyone heard Tun Dr Mahathir or Mr Lim Kit Siang claim any credit for PH electoral victory in GE 14? What about Lim Guan Eng, Mat Sabu or even Azizah...have they put up their hands to tell us that it was their hard work that swung the election PH way? And do not forget the Rakyat !!! The last time i checked...it was the Rakyat that voted PH into government.
Woi Rafizi....steady sikit lah. Eat some humble pie...go talk to a few people outside Invoke ...tepuk dada dan tanya diri senderi..."aku ni terror sangat ka?"...because if you carry on in this manner...you might soon be having problems walking the streets of KL in case there are people about who wants to make their feelings about you known to you....and that may not be too pleasant an experience for you !!!
Of course we know that Invoke is doing this and doing that to help Pakatan Harapan win the election. Of course we know that Rafizi is the man of the moment who singlehandedly is trying to save democracy in Malaysia and of course we know that Rafizi is the only one who dares to stand up against Tun DR Mahathir so that Tun does the right thing for Malaysia.
If you do not believe me....go ask Rafizi....because all that information came from him...especially the part about him working 24/7 to save democracy in Malaysia!!!
Brother...grow up lah. Jangan kasi malu dengan budak Kolet !!!

He credited the "historic success" to Invoke's 40,949 volunteers nationwide.

RAFIZI AND INVOKE : Rafizi himself had injected RM787,049 into Invoke. Tabek Tuan.

Within hours of being thrown a challenge, PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli has revealed the financial statements for both his NGOs – Invoke and National Oversights and Whistleblowers (NOW).
The challenge came from Ampang PKR Youth leader Adam Rosly Abdullah, who demanded that Rafizi comes clean on the public funds collected for the two organisations
“Even though I am of the political opinion that I should not respond to the antics of Adam, who has been relieved of his positions in PKR and is being investigated by the disciplinary board for his case, I also believe that a public official like myself should be fast in responding to all issues related to transparency,” Rafizi said in a statement this afternoon.
In the attached financial statements, it is shown that Rafizi himself had injected RM787,049 into Invoke.
The Pandan lawmaker said this came from his own Lembaga Tabung Haji and Amanah Saham Bumiputera savings.
“I have to top up the injection every month from my salary as well as pay for several Invoke expenditures using my own credit card,” he added.
In his asset declaration last year, Rafizi revealed he had withdrawn RM530,000 in stages from his Tabung Haji account in 2016, and used most of that amount to set up Invoke.
Based on the financial statements released this afternoon, Invoke had earned RM857,369 through fundraising events and RM1,063,066 through donations since its inception till April 30, 2017.
Its total income for the same period of time was RM2,780,652.
Its total expenditure during that time came up to RM2,394,440, with the money being spent on things like the call centre equipment, field campaign spending, social media marketing, as well as on other utilities and so forth.
Their biggest expenditure, it is shown, was for the salaries of its employees, at RM888,487.
“I do not take any salary. Not a single cent of my personal spending is paid by Invoke,” Rafizi added.
Meanwhile, for NOW, Rafizi said there was no income for 2016 and 2017 as the NGO did not organise any fundraising events or collect online donations.
“NOW’s spending is minimal, only the rent for the office, which is an advance from me,” he said, adding that the NGO has no employees either.
Therefore, the included financial statement is for the year ending 2015. It has total assets of RM139,188 and liabilities of RM349,261.
However, he said, the demand had to be made in order to safeguard public confidence in PKR and the opposition.
Adam, who is currently on leave from his party post pending his court case, had previously criticised Rafizi for urging PKR to distance itself from the businessman.
The 30-year-old politician was charged with providing false statements and documents on his wealth. He has denied the charges.

cakap cakap : Harris Ibrahim, Rafizi Ramli and INVOKE

There are not many people in Malaysian politics today that are known to me personally. I have been away from K Hell for almost a decade now and like many of you, what I know of them are the results of what I read of them in the main stream medias, on the NET and from discussions and conversations I have had with people in K Hell and with Malaysian whom I have met in Melbourne.

In this past decade I have met many Malaysians in Melbourne and many more have been the "interesting" conversation and and exchange of emails I have had with "interesting" individuals in Malaysia - at times at my encouragement and most times at their own initiative for their own vested interests - and for all these sharing of tit bits about these "interesting" politicians and people in public office, I am grateful. Not all of them I have shared with those of you who read what I write in this blog but whether shared, stored in the numerous files within my Mac or kept within the dark recesses of my mind.... all these bits of data and information will somehow come to be of use to me if not now, then sometime in the future.

Of all these many many individuals that have, in one way or another, been involved in Malaysian politics over this decade that I speak of,  two names have stood the test of time if you want to talk about leaders  that our people, our nation and our future would need once these dark days of a corrupt umno led bn government are banished from Putrajaya.

Harris Ibrahim and Rafizi Ramli.

There is no need for me to talk about Harris Ibrahim. when you talk about Harris Ibrahim you talk about integrity, commitment and a passion for justice. His ABU, his SAMM has earned him the right to be the Voice of the People. Of late I seem to have lost him somewhere in the
hustle and bustle of the NET but for me Harris Ibrahim has already earned his right to be one of those leaders who we will turn to for a better tomorrow for Malaysia and for all Malaysians. He does not seem to be beholden to anyone or to any faction - and for better or for worse, he marches to his own drum beat.

The other one is Rafizi Ramli.

Rafizi is my junior in MCKK and I am loathe to admit that that fact alone initially caused me to hold him in the same regard as any senior will regard any junior...basically it is the "I am better than you syndrome...until you prove to me otherwise!"...after all "junior" means younger and "senior" means older....but this junior of mine is responsible for, among other things....INVOKE.

Twelve offices. At the last count there were eighty honest, dedicated, incredibly hard working staff - ninety five percent of them below twenty five. Most of them university graduates from prestigious international universities such as Oxford, Berkley, Melbourne and Kings College. All putting their careers on hold for one year working with INVOKE  - to remove najib and rosmah from power and bring in a democratic two party system in Malaysia. Rafizi put in his life savings to start INVOKE. He does not take any salary. He leads, drive. organise and execute INVOKE's plan to help Pakatan Rakyat win government and end corruption and impunity.

INVOKE is a data, media and election machinery providing crucial election data to candidates they support from PKR, Amanah and DAP to enable them to refine electioneering strategies down to the street level....and all candidates supported by INVOKE must sign a pledge to be corruption free, carry our their duties as MP (if elected) and must declare their assets. INVOKE operational costs monthly is RM$300,000 and counting.

Just stop for while and read again the above two paragraphs to get an idea of what INVOKE has set out to do and the financial and physical logistics involved in such an undertaking... and remember this not an initiative by the opposition but by Rafizi Ramli! And remember he has put his own savings into the venture, does not take a salary and has been able to put together a committed and passionate group of mostly young people, out, for lack of a better word....out to change the world...our world that is now so corrupt and dedak driven.

Just reading about INVOKE takes my breath away! Now if he can do this out of government can you even begin to imagine what he can do if he is in government? What can he achieve if he is a Minister? Hell, do we dare dream that he will one day lead our country as Prime Minister?

And what if the fourth floor of the prime minister office are staffed by those eighty odd INVOKE staff who are now putting their career on hold in order to work for the ideals and dreams that Rafizi, through INVOKE, has instilled in them?

And I heard that Harris Ibrahim is somewhere in there with Rafizi, working together to rid our country of the corrupt  najib and rosmah and bring about the changes this nation will need for democracy to prevail.

There is still hope for our country with people like Harris, Rafizi and the people of INVOKE. Please do support them in any way you can - especially financially for as they say :

In order for this team of these 80 young heroes to defeat UMNO BN, please support us. We need to raise an additional RM3 million to keep INVOKE afloat for another 10 months. You can donate as low as RM20. If 150,000 of you donate RM20 each, we can change Malaysia forever. It will be the best ever RM20 investment you make in your life. INVOKE : WE CAN CHANGE MALAYSIA FOREVER!

Please support Invoke, a message from Wong Chen, MP for Kelana Jaya.

Good morning. On Saturday night, I joined Rafizi Ramli, Hannah Yeoh and Harris Ibrahim for an INVOKE Malaysia fundraiser dinner. We sold 92 tables and raised around RM150,000 net after expenses. Thank you everyone for your generous support.
INVOKE is a big data, media and election machinery. We have been operational for 7 months supported by the public in form of small donations. Rafizi has put up almost his entire savings to start this venture. We have now 80 staff with 12 offices. Our operational cost is about RM300,000 a month.
Rafizi does not take in any salary and all politicians supported by INVOKE are unpaid. All monies raised goes only to staff salaries, admin costs and equipments. About 95% of the INVOKE staff are below 25 years old and are paid between RM1,800 to RM2,500. Most of the staff are university graduates and many are from prestigious international universities such as Oxford, Berkley, Melbourne, King's College. These 80 staff are smart, honest, dedicated and incredibly hardworking. They are putting hold of their carreers to put in one year with INVOKE to remove Najib and Rosmah from power and bring in a democratic two party system.
How does INVOKE fit into the coming GE14? To overthrow BN without PAS, we need to win roughly another 40 additional seats. INVOKE is now supporting 50 Parliamentary seats and the candidates are from PKR, Amanah and DAP. All candidates must sign a pledge to be corrupt free, to carry out their MP duties (if elected) and declare all their assets. In other words, INVOKE will only work with hardworking and honest politicians.
How will INVOKE support these 50 candidates? INVOKE using big data and complex algorithms will provided crucial election data to these candidates. INVOKE powerful surveys will enable us to refine micro strategies down to the street. Every Thursday night, INVOKE's phone bank volunteers are recruiting thousands of PACA to support these 50 candidates. We now have 9,000 volunteers, we need to reach 40,000. INVOKE started PACA training in our 12 centres a month ago. Trainings will increase as election nears. INVOKE media through programs, chat shows and Parlimen Rakyat on facebook live stream, has steadily grown and achieved one million fb reach; our reach is now as powerful as TV3. Our door to door campaigning team is ready to take off when GE14 is announced.
Many people ask, how can we possibly win? In 2013, Pakatan fought the elections on very broad strategies and motherhood statements, and yet we took the popular vote. We rode the wave for change, but in truth we didn't have even a system that delivered sufficient PACA in all our seats. Even in my urban area of Kelana Jaya, we were short of 50 PACA on election day. In rural areas, we had a more pronounced PACA shortage. I truly believe that had we deployed enough ground troops and PACAs in 2013, we would have soundly defeated UMNO BN.
INVOKE has learnt from the errors and shortcomings of GE13. Guided by big data techniques from the 2012 Obama campaign, we are finally bringing modern big data, micro targetting, organisational and management systems and techniques and deploying it for GE14. Rafizi is bringing his 15 years in Petronas as the youngest ever General Manager to lead, drive, organise and execute INVOKE's plans to help Pakatan Rakyat capture Putrajaya and end corruption and impunity.
Rafizi and Invoke

Invoke is a company formed by Rafizi to create a team of workers and thousands of volunteers going to the kampongs highlighting issues close to the kampong people's heart to change their allegiance to UMNO and defeat BN in GE14 or latest by GE15. He has engaged a US election campaign expert who helped Obama win his presidency using 'Big Data' analytics. One of the strategies is trying to win marginal seats which BN/UMNO only won by less than 5% majority and this involved 30+ seats out of the 88 seats won by UMNO. There are now many young and highly qualified people in his team that shared his vision who quit their high paying jobs to work tirelessly on his mission but are only paid a pittance. He highlight's his strategy and methods from their big data analysis and strongly believes that BN is beatable and can be removed from Putrajaya.

As for Rafizi he is from a poor family from Besut Trengganu, he did well academically and spent 4 years in the prestigious MCKK and later graduated from Leeds U UK in Engineering. He then did accounts and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He returned to Malaysia in 2003 working as Senior Accountant in Petronas. He spoke excellent English and belong to the elite group who are traditionally the core backbone of UMNO political machine. However, he has a genuine sense of fairness and feels strongly that everyone should be given an equal chance for the country to prosper and not leave the non-bumi communities marginalizedd causing jealousy and dissent. So he has chosen a anti corruption and anti BN/UMNO stance which is at a great cost to him personally and he is expecting to go to jail on 14th Nov when the verdict of his OSA case that will have mandatory jail term on conviction. He may loose is MP position and may be barred from standing for Election for 5 Years. He it is a great sacrifice for him to fight injustice and corruption as he could easily hold high corporate position with top pay if only he is will to toe the line and close his eyes to all the corruption and injustice around him.

For his ideals and sincerity, highly analytical and problem-solving mind, he is a most credible future PM material for Malaysia and deserves our support. The Invoke project is concretely working on the regime change and need funding support to carry out its mission.
