Bombshell report emerges of alleged Trump affair with Playboy model

Donald Trump had an affair with former Playmate of the Year Karen McDougal — whom he met at a party for “The Apprentice” in 2006 while married to his current wife, Melania, according to an explosive report Friday that details the great lengths to which the future president went to conceal his alleged indiscretions from the press.

McDougal wrote in an eight-page, handwritten note — which her friend John Crawford shared with the New Yorker’s Ronan Farrow — that Trump “immediately took a liking to me, kept talking to me — telling me how beautiful I was etc.

“It was so obvious that a Playmate Promotions exec said, ‘Wow, he was all over you — I think you could be his next wife,’” according to the piece, titled “Donald Trump, a Playboy Model, and a System for Concealing Infidelity.”

She said she was initially wowed by Trump.

“I was so nervous! I was into his intelligence + charm. Such a polite man,” she wrote. “We talked for a couple hours — then, it was ‘ON’! We got naked + had sex.”

But McDougal added that she was stunned when Trump offered her money as she was getting dressed after their romp.

“I looked at him (+ felt sad) + said, ‘No thanks — I’m not ‘that girl.’ I slept w/you because I like you — NOT for money’ — He told me ‘you are special,’” she wrote, according to Farrow’s account.

McDougal wrote that after their first tryst, she “went to see him every time he was in LA (which was a lot).”

Trump eventually introduced her to members of his family and took her to his private homes, including at Trump Tower, where he pointed out Melania’s separate bedroom, McDougal claimed.

He “said she liked her space,” McDougal said, “to read or be alone.”

During a 2007 party for Trump Vodka in Los Angeles, she said, she was seated at a table with The Donald, Donald Trump Jr., his pregnant wife, Vanessa, and Kim Kardashian.

And at an “Apprentice” bash at the Playboy Mansion, McDougal said, Trump told her he had asked his son Eric “who he thought was the most beautiful girl here + Eric pointed me. Mr. T said ‘He has great taste’ + we laughed!”

McDougal ended their nine-month affair in April 2007, according to the article.

The White House said in a statement that Trump denies having had an affair with McDougal.

“This is an old story that is just more fake news. The president says he never had a relationship with McDougal,” a spokesman told the New Yorker.

The story comes as porn star Stormy Daniels is planning a tell-all about her own tryst with Trump.

President Trump met yesterday with Prime Minister Najib of Malaysia, a visit the Wall Street Journal in an editorial last week characterized appropriately as “Trump’s Malaysia Swamp.”

As an Australian expert on Southeast Asia quoted in the New York Times said, “From a pure public relations point of view, it’s a meeting the White House should avoid. . . . Even a photo op with Kim Jong-un would be better.”

The Washington Post in an editorial yesterday said that the visit “sets a new low. Not only is Mr. Najib known for imprisoning peaceful opponents, silencing critical media and reversing Malaysia’s progress toward democracy. He also is a subject of the largest foreign kleptocracy investigation ever launched by the US Justice Department.”

The Justice Department suit in question seeks recovery and forfeiture of over $1 billion in assets alleged to have been purchased with funds “misappropriated” from Malaysia’s One Malaysia Development Bank (or 1MDB), which the suit alleges is largely controlled and managed by someone identified as “Malaysian Official 1” — and who is widely known to be Najib.  

In addition to his overall responsibility for the more than $4 billion of misappropriated funds, some $1 billion of which were laundered in the United States, “Malaysian Official 1” personally received $731 million, of which $620 million was supposedly returned, netting him a tidy $111 million.

Did President Trump know about any of this when the Malaysian Prime Minister was added to his schedule?

One fact not mentioned by any of those three major papers seems to provide a clue as to how this meeting was arranged. In May, a former Trump campaign aide — Healy E. Baumgardner-Nardone of the “45 Group” — registered as a foreign agent to represent the Office of the Prime Minister of Malaysia. She reported receiving $250,000 for her services.

The Malaysian government has paid lavishly in the past for Washington “swamp dwellers” to purchase influence and disparage its opponents and critics.

As the Journal editorial points out, during President Obama’s second term the Malaysians rewarded a major Democratic Party fundraiser handsomely for representing them, just before Najib secured an Obama state visit to Malaysia (the first by a US president in sixty years), and then received an even more unprecedented invitation from Obama to join him in Hawaii for a game of golf.

Back during George W. Bush’s first term, Malaysian business interests hired Belle Haven Consultants for fees in excess of $1 million over two years to promote Malaysian interests in the US.

Some of that money was reportedly used to influence the views of a prominent conservative think tank, through the intermediary of the Alexander Strategy Group, associated with former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay and the notorious Jack Abramoff.

During Obama’s first term, the Najib government paid millions to APCO Worldwide of Washington, a portion of which went to the London-based “Fact Based Communications, Ltd.” to hire an individual named Josh Trevino, to organize a network of bloggers to write blog posts disparaging opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim — whose coalition was growing in strength heading into the 2013 elections.

That game blew up when Trevino was fired by The Guardian of London for failing to disclose that he was on the Malaysian payroll while writing a supposedly independent column. That forced Trevino to file a belated foreign agent registration exposing the whole scheme.

Back in Malaysia, the government does more than merely disparage its critics. Just last week, in the latest development in the 1MDB case, FBI special agent Robert Heuchling asserted in a filing in court in Los Angeles that “identifying witnesses [in the case] could result in intimidation or threaten their safety,” citing “reports of local officials and politicians who have been arrested for purportedly disclosing information linked to 1MDB.”

He also cited Malaysian press reports from August 30 that said “the driver of former Malaysian Attorney-General Abdul Gani Patail was shot in public as a possible warning against assisting the US government in the case.”

If President Trump were serious about “draining the swamp” in Washington, he should have found a diplomatic excuse to postpone this embarrassing meeting.  Doing so would have sent a strong signal to other lobbyists attempting to sell access to the President.

Having failed to do that, at a minimum he should find out who was responsible for inviting the Malaysian swamp to the White House. And if they did not properly inform him of the scandal surrounding Najib, someone needs to be disciplined.

Sarawak Report : Najib Promises To Pour Out Cash-Strapped Malaysia's Wealth Reserves 'To Help Strengthen US Economy'!

14 September 2017 Has Najib Razak just made the miscalculation of his political career?  Was this his fire the FBI Director moment, as he attempted to curry favour off a President, whose Justice Department has been investigating him for fraud? Malaysian Airlines has been fighting off bankruptsy, yet Prime Minister Najib Razak publicly tasked it yesterday with buying scores of jets to the tune of $10 billion, all apparently to help President Trump brag that he is ‘doing deals’ to boost the US economy! Worse, Najib also dangled what is left of Kazanah’s sovereign wealth reserves and even the pension money invested in the Employee Provident Fund in front of Trump, wheedling in an audibly trembling voice: “they [EPF] intend to invest three to four additional billion dollars to support your infrastructure redevelopment in the United States” Meanwhile Najib has been borrowing long-term from China to support Chinese orientated infrastructure projects (and conceal 1MDB interest repayments) back home in Malaysia! Najib of course has no legitimate authority to speak for the EPF in this way. The fund is supposed to make its decisions based solely on what will benefit ordinary Malaysian pensioners. However, here was Najib in the White House promising to funnel Malaysia’s savings into US infrastructure, in order to put a feather in the baseball cap of Donald Trump. Neither ought Najib speak for the sovereign fund Kazanah. Yet his very next promise (in grovellign tones) was that he would ensure that Kazanah will pour in more of its reserves into Silicon Valley.  Trump has expressed annoyance over how Malaysia was starting to do rather well out of its own high-tech components production and has in previous years developed a healthy positive trade balance with the United States.  Trump wants to ‘bring those jobs back to America’ and Najib obliged by saying he would use Malaysia’s money to help him do it! Is this how Najib hopes he can buy Donal Trump’s influence over the Justice Department and call off the investigation into 1MDB – at the expense of Malaysia’s ordinary folk and their savings?  It certainly looks like it: Number one, we want to help you in terms of strengthening the US economy. I come with three specific proposals. Number one, we intend to increase the number of Boeing planes to be purchased by MAS. We are committed to 25 planes of the 737 MAX 10, plus eight 787 Dreamliners. And there is a strong probability – not possibility – probability that we will add 25 more 737 MAX 10 in the near future. So within five years, the deal will be worth beyond $10 billion. That’s one. We will also try to persuade AirAsia to purchase GE engines… [Najib speech at White House] After all, Najib’s surprise purchase announcement appears in conflict with all recent predictions about the airline’s planned purchases and readjustments, which include far more modest leasing arrangements and the divestment of several aircraft.  What reason for this crippling U-Turn? As for Air Asia, their senior executives are reportedly still laughing at the commitment on their behalf. Trump Hotel! The misjudgements have piled up further. According to senior finance ministery sources the Malaysian Government is presently struggling to find funds to pay its civil servants salaries over the coming months.  Tax receipts have plunged in recent quarters. Under such circumstances one would have suggested the visiting PM and his wife might have made do with bunking down at the Embassy or somewhere modest for their US visit, which is already costing taxpayers a bomb. But no, it has emerged that Malaysian taxpayers have the privilege of forking out for the first couple and their entourage to stay at none other than the fantastically expensive 5 Star Trump Hotel in Washington, which offers rooms up to the cost of a staggering $3,500 (RM15,000) a night for an Executive Suite. But why make do with that?  The Presidential Suite is $15,000 (RM62,000) a night and the Trump Townhouse is $25,000 (RM104,000): which room do we reckon Rosmah chose? Spend big – it benefits our host! To any observer the decision to stay at this particular hotel out of all on offer in the US capital represents a blatant blandishment.  It is exactly the sort of payout that ethics guides and Trump’s critics have pointed out was the danger from the President not fully divesting his interests or presenting his finances transparently. From the first day of his presidency people have complained that tin-pot dictators would start beating a path to the door of his various hotel establishments in order to shower him with praise and money.  Najib just did exactly that and the US media are already baying in disgust at the shameful behaviour of their President once more. It makes Malaysians look cheap, whilst costing their country dear! Hotel 1 and Hotel 2 And, just in case anyone is trying to argue that the Trump Hotel DC stay was just a coincidence or a convenience that happened to rack up millions, it has now been revealed that when Najib’s ‘formal working visit’ ends, he and his wife and entourage will be heading over to New York, where they will be again, but this time ‘informally’ meeting Donald Trump and staying – GUESS WHERE? – at his Trump Hotel NY! 4.      …After the 30-minute meeting between Najib and President of Trump on this day, I was informed there would be another meeting between President Trump and family members of Dato ‘Seri Najib in a private location that is the Trump Tower in New York, owned by the family of President Trump [translation of information from a senior source provided to opposition MP Rafizi Ramli, published yesterday] Do we think that the ‘First Family’ and their over-grown boys will be paying for that ‘holiday’ stay themselves?  To the contrary, we advise that once again, Malaysia must brace itself for the bill for Donald’s gold plated hospitality, although the civil servants who have organised the trip may find themselves without a salary sometime soon. Golden opporutnity for a quiet whisper in Trump’s ear about a private condition for the deal? Two Separate Meetings, Two Separate Agendas? 1MDB and the word ‘kleptocracy’ were strictly off the Make American Great Again agenda at the White House, according to the press briefing given by its spokesman (Najib turned down the opportunity offered to meet the press – funny that). However, one wonders if it might not just be a bit more central to those private discussions later in New York?  After all, what exactly is the point of having a completely separate planned but private meeting in Trump’s own home away from the formalities and publicity of Najib’s supposed ‘official visit’? Najib will have to forgive Malaysians for assuming that it is at this meeting that Najib plans to bring up 1MDB.  For example he could open with: “Mr President, look what we offered you.  Billions to be sucked from the bank accounts and pension funds of ordinary Malaysians, just so you can do your big bragging number about “making great deals” and bringing money back to the US.  So, now we are away from the cameras, can we discuss my private condition to this particular deal?  It’s no skin off your nose and since you’re a businesman, you know how it goes!” Najib cannot avoid the fact that the vast majority of Malaysians will surmise that this has been the real purpose of this expensive trip orgainised by hired lobbyists and that Najib will be looking for a commitment from Trump at this special little side-meeting to lay off the pressure from the DOJ.  After all, why should Najib want to help ‘MAGA’ at Malaysia’s expense for nothing in return? What is worrying him most and particularly his wife Rosmah is that her son Riza has been named by the Department in its court papers as a top suspect in its present criminal investigations, together with his gambling pal Jho Low who was Najib’s proxy for the thefts. Beyond them, the finger points squarely at the ‘First Couple’ themselves. The Prime Minister must be hoping for a sympathetic ear.  Trump hates the DOJ, after all they are on to him too! Trump is also no ordinary president, as the majority of Americans seem to be swiftly learning to regret: he puts his personal brand and alleged business sense far above the importance of the normal considerations of the body politic, like upholding law and order. So, Najib plainly hopes that by giving Trump a podium gift he can use for years: “I got an order for 58 jets from the Republic of Malaysia folks, just from one smart deal I made with their President Najib”), he can get the DOJ off his back. All Talk! Trump will doubtless tell Najib that he will see what he can do and not to worry, just sign for those planes.  But, the truth is neither party can deliver on either side of this phoney announcement made by two hucksters both in the business of perceptions rather than reality. Najib has behind him a string of recent MOUs forged with numerous heads of state, which have all bitten the dust once the political moment passed. Strategic economic alliances with Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi; massive arms purchases promised to Britain, France and Russia; huge projects with China all aimed at keeping foreign governments sweet and lowering criticism or trying to create a grand impression in the newspapers back home. Najib’s finances are bare – he could barely pay the fines to IPIC for 1MDB last month – the endless promises to buy, dispensed whenever he meets a foreign leader, are just so much candy floss on a stick (dig into the deal and there is no substance). And, just in the same way that Trump is never going to sell those planes, the US President is in no position either to deliver on a promise to pull off the dogs from the DOJ.  He can’t even shut them up about his own Russian business deals, which plainly keeps him up worrying half the night. These two deeply unpopular leaders may sympathise with each other, but the only way they can actually help each other is by pretending. Najib will pretend to invest in MAGA and Trump will help pretend that the US is no longer investigating 1MDB. Their problem is that hucksters get rumbled sooner rather than later and the game they are playing is fairly plain and obvious to a growing segment of the population of both countries, whatever gets pumped out on Malaysia’s “Fake News” propaganda stations.

✔Both have fired top law enforcement officials in their own governments to try to influence those investigations. 

✔Both play politically toward their rural, ethnically homogeneous base and use nationalist rhetoric to stir up anger against their more urban, ethnic opposition. 

✔Both men won their last election despite losing the popular vote. 

✔Both love golf, and they even played together once.....

"I don't know what to do," says the Devil. "You're on my list but I have no room for you. But you definitely have to stay here, so I'll tell you what I'm going to do. Trump thought that sounded pretty good so he agreed.

The devil opened the first room. In it was Richard Nixon and a large pool of water. He kept diving in and surfacing empty handed over and over and over, such was his fate in Hell.

"No!" Trump said. "I don't think so. I'm not a good swimmer and I don't think I could do that all day long."

The Devil led him to the next room. In it was Tony Blair with a sledgehammer and a room full of rocks. All he did was swing that hammer, time after time after time.

"No! I've got this problem with my shoulder. I would be in constant agony if all I could do was break rocks all day!" commented Trump. 

The Devil opened a third door. In it, Trump saw Bill Clinton lying naked on the floor with his arms staked over his head and his legs staked in spread-eagle pose. Bent over him was Monica Lewinsky, doing what she does best.

Trump looked at this in disbelief for a while and finally said, "Yeah, I can handle this."

The Devil smiled and said, "Monica, you're free to go!"

Prime Minister of Malaysia (PMOM) Najib Abdul Razak must be feeling tremendously superior to his alleged erstwhile golfing buddy and recently-elected President of the United States (POTUS) Donald J.Trump, even without a chance to play a round with him recently.

Because, however many courses Trump owns, and however close to scratch his game might be, he’s competing at world-class level according to US and international rules in full view of a global gallery, and thus has no chance of hiding just how green, gruesomely handicapped and doomed to defeat that he thus far appears to be.

Whereas Najib plays mostly for Malaysia on a minor circuit restricted to such similar small-timers as North Korea and Zimbabwe, who all consider themselves winners because they not only make-up the rules of the game and fake their own scorecards, but also feel free to club anyone who dares criticise or oppose them into silence or submission.

Or, in some special cases, to death, as in the current case of the alleged hit on a member of North Korea’s Kim family at the KL International Airport 2, or the murder and C4 dismemberment of Mongolian ‘model’ Altantuya Shaariibuu (pic above) in Kuala Lumpur a decade ago.

No wonder POTUS Trump is so mightily teed-off at the way he’s thwarted at every stroke as he strives to triumph over obstacles like that mother of all sand-traps, the Middle East, and looming water hazards like the South China Sea, while simultaneously trying to deal with domestic challenges ranging from hostile Democrats and disaffected Republicans to hostile news media and intractable courts.

At least you’d imagine that a golfer as avid as Trump so evidently is would be aware of Theodore Roosevelt’s proverbial advice to himself and successive US Presidents to ‘speak softly and carry a big stick’.

But apparently not, as in the blustering press conference he held recently to praise his own allegedly ‘fine-tuned’ administration’s bumbling, stumbling performance in its first few weeks, he seemed rather to be still resorting to speaking glibly because he’s getting so much stick.

And if he’s even slightly sincere in his avowed desire to ‘make America great again’, he can look forward to getting even more stick in the future, in light of the fact that two of the principal principles that have contributed most to America’s self-perception as ‘great’ are the freedom of the press and the doctrine of the separation of powers underpinning the independence of the Judiciary.

And it is right here, of course, where Najib’s UMNO-BN regime, North Korea’s Kim dynasty, Zimbabwe’s Mugabe-figure eaded Zanu-PF gang and the similar dominant players in countless other no-account countries well and truly have the wood on Trump attempts to run the US.

Because while Trump can only endlessly and impotently repeat his lying refrain about the forces of ‘fake news’ that he claims are so ‘unfairly’ ranged against him, Najib, the Kims and Mugabes can, as they so efficiently have done, abolish independent news media, fake or otherwise, and create fake news in their own favour.

Thus, to refer back to the headline of this column, Najib easily trumps Trump in the management of negative or hostile news and views by the simple expedient of making sure there aren’t any. None that can be printed or broadcast, at least, as  UMNO-BN owns and controls all of Malaysia’s ‘mainstream’, or in other words, traditional news media. In contrast in the United States, freedom of expression is guaranteed by The First Amendment, making the media an independent and countervailing force in American society.

This blacking-out of bad news about Malaysia’s ruling regime is reinforced by an Official Secrets Act so severe as to cover virtually every activity of the government, the public services and crony based ‘government-linked corporations’ (GLCs), and of course backed-up by regime domination of the Judiciary which should by rights be Malaysian citizens’ final bulwark against the misrule of their country by the UMNO-BN ‘kleptocracy’.

One tiny flaw

Admittedly this game-winning strategy has one tiny flaw, which is that former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, the man who devised and from whom Najib has inherited it, was so keen to create a world-class IT complex he grandly conceived as ‘Cyberjaya’ that he promised global players like Apple and Microsoft that he wouldn’t censor the Internet.

Cyberjaya, like so many of Mahathir’s alleged megalomanic projects, never really took off. But at least the Internet has surprisingly remained relatively free in Malaysia, and thus I can write what I like, or rather what my editors deem not so dangerously politically provocative as to get Malaysiakini raided or banned, in this column.

But Najib and his UMNO-BN accomplices and supporters are apparently quite prepared if not happy to tolerate this relatively minor annoyance, as it gives them a pretext on which to pretend they permit at least some slight degree of press freedom.

And in any event they must figure that however much bad news gets out about them, they can keep buying enough voters to keep them in power with money they SK1M from the public purse to fund annual hand-outs billed as BR1M, which Najib recently boasted increases in amount every year.

Or, to put this another way, there are always enough Malaysians prepared to be so D1M as to accept BR1M and in return to pretend that they’re unaware that Najib, like every one of his fellow UMNO-BN members and cronies, is a KR1M.

In short, though Najib Abdul Razak might seem to the embarrassed, embarrassing and deeply-embattled Donald Trump to be a winner in the contest between himself and the essential democratic institutions of truth, transparency and justice, the Malaysian people are the ‘sure-fire losers’.

Just as the American people will be if Trump and his goofers can’t be persuaded or if necessary forced to finally get themselves on the ball, stop playing around like dimwit banana-republic demagogues and realise that there’s as huge a gulf between their performance so far and true world leadership as between hit-and-giggle golf and the real thing.

Saya memang tak suka Trump dan saya bukan golongan yang menganggap kononnya Trump ni seorang yang hebat dan akan selamatkan blok kiri sebab dia kawan ngan putin dan assad (itu adalah satu pemikiran yang simplistik).

Namun saya hairan kenapa orang Malaysia terutamanya yang Muslim yang kecoh pasal orang Islam kena halang masuk Amerika? 

Di sini hari-hari kita bersikap rasis, xenophobic terhadap orang bangladesh, orang afrika, orang indonesia - hari2 ada je statement rasis kutuk dan menghina warga migran. Sampai ada yang sakit mata tengok mereka berjalan-jalan di kota masa cuti. 

Tapi bila Trump halang - amboi sakit hati konon.. cermin diri dulu sebelum nak bising..sifat hipkorit.

Setiap hari di lapangan terbang kita lihat pekerja-pekerja migran diminta duduk mencangkung, diherdik dan dijerit oleh agen-agen, pegawai imigresen - ada tak kita rasa kasihan? tidak kan?

Tambahan pula beribu-ribu kanak2 (majoriti dari bangsa India) yang lahir di sini dan layak jadi warganegara - tidak dapat sijil kewarganegaraan dan tidak dapat pergi sekolah - ada orang kita kecoh? ada rasa simpati? Tidak kan?
