Who actually are these guys? Are they not PPBM members making a complain against PPMB organisers? This is strange. If they are not happy to be with PPBM, just leave and join UMNO.
SHAH ALAM ― Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) leader Anina Saadudin was removed as leader of the party’s women’s wing Srikandi because of performance issues, party’s president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said today.
He said Anina was given an undisclosed amount of funds to develop the wing, but was subsequently sacked from the position after she failed to show any developments with the wing.
“We gave her money to develop Srikandi but due to certain issues she could not develop Srikandi as required,” Muhyiddin said after the launch of the party’s official song and website.
“But she is still a supreme council member of PPBM and we hope she would remain with the party,” he added.
Is it necessary to disclose the information? Even if it is true, there is no need to shame the woman this way. And then expect her to remain loyal to the party?
steadyaku47 comment : I agree with Ibnu Aljajawi - is it necessary to disclose the above information. Muhyiddin should have known better than to wash PPBM's dirty linen in public. ......these are internal matters best kept within the four walls of PPBM....and if Mahyuddin does not understand this....then the question should be asked if he deserve to be party's president?
I know the problems with Anina and a few others within PPBM but why disclose these issues to Umno? Ini macam ludah ka langit......or as the mat salleh says "Peeing into the wind!".
steadyaku47 comment : Lately I have heard that trouble was already brewing within PPBM....nothing that PPBM should not have been able to resolved within PPBM! We who are with the opposition, which includes PPBM, are aware of these "troubles' that is seething just below the surface within PPBM but common sense tells us we should allow PPBM to resolve their internal troubles without making it more difficult for them with our "comments". And this I have endeavour to do until PPBM cannot themselves contain the "troubles" within their four walls. Then comment we must!
Anina is a case in point. Whatever the merits of her outburst and her decision to use social media to plead her case, let me remind her that in her case, it is PPBM that will decide on what is to be done with her.....not the public. Without fail PPBM must be focused on what has brought PPBM into being : getting rid of Najib Razak and ridding the Malays and Malaysians of Umno. Anything else, including her personal thoughts on what she deserves or do not deserve to be, must be relegated to where it belongs - within the confines of the four walls of PPBM.
PPBM has still to get the critical mass of members required to allow itself and us to think that they can give Umno a run for their money at the next PRU. Umno has over 3 million members....PPBM has yet to even secure ten percent of that number as its members.
PPBM has still to make it's members understand the need to "turun padang" in the rural areas. Yes they are making an attempt to "turun padang" in the kampongs...but "trying" will not win them the electoral support of the rural Malays. PPBM must succeed!
Enough said for now. Get Anina into line and make her understand she needs to hush her mouth and get her act together if she is to be of any use to PPBM and to us who want change. If she does not....get rid of her and any one else who think themselves more important than PPBM....or I shall not be quiet for too long!
Those of you who forgets history will be condemned to live through it again...and none are so burdened by this affliction than the Malays....more so the Malays in Umno!
So far the Malays have led a charmed life. I should know for I am a Malay.
We have been blessed for having had leaders like Dato Onn, Tunku, Razak, Hussein and Mahatir. Leaders who are mindful, that as leaders, they should lead by example. That they should set a precedent for future leaders of this nation by their deeds and leave a lasting legacy to the future by their commitment to honor their pledge to serve in public office with grace and honor. All of them are Malays of exemplary character with respect and reverence beating in their hearts for the people and the nation they served and in return they were served by many,many exemplary Malaysians.
The memories of these Malay leaders are still fresh in my mind for I have lived through all of them. Also clear in my mind are the Malaysians who served in government and public office. For all of them, doing so was a responsibility each undertook with pride and a sense of duty which transcends all other considerations.
There are too many of us around today who are past 50 who will remember these times with clarity. And for those of you who are not of that age, there are too many of us around who will not allow you to forget that those times of goodwill and honor did exist not too long ago. Two, or three decades ago, is not too long a time ago to forget.
In those times no Malay was my enemy.
No Malay could be my enemy for we were all then under Malay leaders whose duty was to bring the Malays into the post-Merdeka era mindful of the fact that with Merdeka, the Chinese and Indians were made our equals.
No Malay could stray too far from Umno for the Malay leaders were also leaders of Umno first ....and only then were they leaders for the Malays. ...but if truth be told then, what Umno wanted for itself then was also what the Malays wanted for themselves. If you were a Malay then, you were in Umno or with Umno....one without the other was unthinkable!
We Malays from the urban area looked upon the Malays in the rural areas as those in most need of assistance from the government....there was RIDA, MARA and other authorities established by our government...all focussed on helping the Malays in these rural areas. No one belittled these rural Malays the help they got from the government...no one thought to question the government intent then.
How things have changed today for the Malays.
There are Umno Malays, Pas Malays, Malays in PKR, in DAP...Malays activists, Malays in ISIS, Malays who are beholden to no political party....and there are many many Malays who no longer live in Malaysia. There are the pendatnags who can become Malays, there are Mamaks who are already Malays and there are so many Malay "wannabes" that would make a Malay asks himself if he is not from the "chosen few" who have been blessed from birth by being born a Malay.
Then there are Malays for the government, Malays against the government. Malays in the Urban areas and Malays from the rural hinterlands......Malays from Johor, Malays from up North, Malays from the East Coast....Royal Malays, Malay who are Bugis Warriors and of course there are those Malays for whom Cash is King and politics is merely a means to an end....and the ends are invariably their own vested interest.
The Malays today are spoilt for choice. Not one entity, not one individual...not any organization can lay claim to being the definitive Malay voice that can articulate what every Malay wants. Only Islam unites all Malays and yet within Islam there are already divisions.... man-made divisions to serve not ALLAH's, but man's vested interests - and in Malaysia that interest is mainly political.
And so today, a Malay will have much to think about.
What is true today is that Umno no longer holds sway over the Malays in numbers large enough to make it politically relevant. A thinking, rational Malay (of which there are many!) no longer thinks of politics as a zero sum game : there is an alternative to political dominance, an alternative to Malay political dominance....and that is to have a responsible, accountable and open government made up of those who have the interest of all Malaysians at heart....and if there are Malays in that government...so much the better! But that is not the be all and end all of what they want.
Many in Umno understands this too, but Umno does not have the political will to change....and so many have to abandon Umno to join PPBM to live and fight another day for the Malays....and that, I believe......is why PPBM has started the way they have .....for without a dedicated Malay political entity (for now!) it will be hard for those who want to leave Umno to do so and remain true to their desire to do what is right for their own race.
And so I am a little bit forgiving of what Tun Mahathir, Anwar and Mahyuddin and their peers are now doing within PPBM....and so should you for we all live in trying times....trying but interesting times. My last six decades of living through Tunku, Razak, Hussein, Mahathir and Abang Lah's time will not be able to hold a candle for what is to come before, during and after the next general election.......and you can be rest assured that the Malays will be in the thick of it all.
That, in essence, is what Najib and Umno expect of every Umno member and any BN supporter.

And yet they know that their world is closing down around them! They know that as their past and current misdeeds catches up with them, timewill decide their fate. Time will show them to be the liars, scammers, thieves and robbers that they are. And with each passing day they are made aware that there is a time and a season for everything....a time when Anwar Ibrahim will be released, a time when Najib and Rosmahwill no longer be at Seri Perdana, a time when all those complicit in the pillaging and plunder of our nation's coffers will be hauled up to made accountable for what they have done and a time when you and me can claim back our life, our country and decide our future.
That time is drawing near.
It is drawing near in parts because of what the opposition, what Bersih, what Anwar, Mahathir, Mahyuddin and what you and me have done in our efforts to bring about change....but if truth be told, the end of Najib, Rosmah, Umno and BN is drawing to a close simply because the critical mass needed to bring about change in our country are now ready for change......it is wanting of change...in fact it is demanding of change!
Najib, Umno and BN may still have deep pockets....but those deep pockets are begining to run short of change for them to continue to spend money they do not have. Not Petronas, not the GST not Tabung Haji, EPF, Khazanah not even 1MDB can continue to satisfy their greed.
Najib, Umno and BN may have large armies....but look closely at the "soldiers"in these armies and you will find dissent aplenty and at times, outright mutiny. Consider those who are already leaving Umno for PPBM, those within the government who are already with the opposition and sympathetic to the opposition cause and consider those "soldiers" within this army who are now brave enough to voice dissent and debate the right and wrong of what this government does in the name of government and you can clearly see a disaster looming within the "large army" that Najib, Umno and BN think they still have.
And "yes" God seems to be on their side too....and why not....Jakim, Jawi, the Muftis and many many religious entities and individuals are on their payroll.....and here is the thing about these Muslims who now seems complicit with this corrupt and arrogant BN government..... here and there you will detect a fissure in their unity....maybe not yet visible to the naked eye....but when push comes to shove, the goodness within religious men and women will come to the fore and overcome the evil that religion sometimes do.
Overtly, noisily and certainly more and more courageously by the day, those against Najib, Umno and BN are standing up to be counted...and you need only to look at what PPBM has been able to achieve since there was talk of it coming into being just a few months back! Today Mahathir is talking about getting one million members to be with PPBM....and where will that million come from? That is for us to know and for Najib, Umno and BN to find out!
For most of us, to continue to have to wait for the change that has been so long in coming, seems unbearable. We want change to happen last year, last month....last week,....yesterday and yet it has not. How long more must we wait?
And that my friends is the danger that awaits this nation today.
We are close to breaking point.Race, religion, and all our differences have been thrown at us to rapture whatever grace, respect and tolerance that has ever been possible between us all. When we should be looking to each other for union against this corrupt Najib, Umno and BN, some of us are instead viewing each other with suspicion and hate....accentuating the negative even where nothing really divides us.....instilling fear within some of us as to the intentions of our own brothers and sisters. This is the way of those who are bankrupt of anything else but the fear of what will happened to them when political power that they have abused for their personal gain, is lost.
But there is hope.
This prime minister of ours and his obnoxious wife no longer trip the light fantastic across the globe in private jets at our expenses at will! They have to consider if it is wise for them to tempt fate by going to New York where the US Department of Justice has already got the FBI busy doing what our Law Enforcement Authorities should have done about 1MDB a long time ago!
Ministers in his cabinet are told in no uncertain terms by the people of Malaysia that what they have done and what they now do in the name of government, they will be held accountable for !
And today we know that anything done by this government, right or wrong, will be conveyed to the Malaysian Public in real time through the many medium of communication that we are now blessed with.
If Rosmah ventures into Hermes in Germany, if Najib is brave enough to face questions from the foreign media, if either of them even coughs....we will know.
If there is a single branch member from an Umno branch in Pahang or Hutan Melintang leaves Umno to join PPBM, we will know.
And the moment Zahid makes a move to take what he thinks is his by default...we will know!
That all this will happen is given because the time has come to talk of what comes after Najib, what comes after Umno and BN, and more critical, how will the Rakyat decide who will lead them and what will their future be like. We live in interesting times......
