Malay world vital for Islam’s survival, Zahid says

THE Malay world is among the vital elements in determining Islam's survival not only in the Asean region but across the world, says Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Regarding the Malay world as an invaluable asset, Zahid said the interrelationship between the Malay world and Islam started long ago with Malay being the lingua franca in spreading Islam in this region.

“In the view of (Syed Naquib) al-Attas, the choice of Malay language usage by the religious preachers was deliberate. This is because the nature and history of the Malay language that are almost similar to that of the Arabic language… hence chosen as the language to spread Islam through the Quran.

“This is the uniqueness of the Malays, retaining their identity through usage of the Malay language and Jawi script as these two elements make the Malays remain as ‘Malays’ and not becoming ‘Arabs’.”

Where the hell does he gets the notion that the Malay world is vital for Islam's survival? 

Was it after subuh prayers? 

Or was it while having his morning tempeh with his nasi lemak when he was trying to figure out what else he can conjure up in the increasing desperate fight to ensure not only Umno's political survival...but more of concern to him, his own political survival as the date of reckoning for both, nears?

Idiots with their back against the wall will come up with all sorts of plan to get out of their quagmire. Umno idiots with their backs against the wall will go the whole ten yards and do what ever they have to do to save themselves. Umno idiots who think they will be the next president of Umno merankap perdana menteri Malaysia will move heaven and earth to keep their hope alive...and this Jawa is all of the above - an idiot, a member of umno and he thinks he will be the next president of umno and be prime minister of Malaysia all at the same time. So what do you think he will come up with? 

This time it is "Malay world vital for Islam's survival". 

That it is simply, an empty slogan bereft of any meaningful substance, does not matter to him. That what he says makes no sense to anyone else is par for the course...it is simply an umno politicians doing the usual  - making an ass of themselves in public. But there Zahid sits, all puffed up, arrogant and proud that he has come up with how important the Malay World is to Islam...and at the same time reminding us all that he will one day be leader of that Malay world! Ptui! 

Let me tell Zahid how others look at him...and by others I mean the rest of the world outside PWTC...outside Bagan Datuk District and by those who are not dependent on him for dedak or any political patronage. Zahid, they know that politically your position is as stable as an egg balanced on a pin. Even without any movement from the pin, the egg may still fall if the prevailing winds are not kind. 

Until you are able to kick out Najib Razak, your position as DPM is entirely in the hands of Najib Razak...and with his cousin Hishamuddin lurking in your shadows, that does not augers well to your chances of staying where you now as number two to Najib. And like Jebat your salvation may well lies in your ability to go against the establishment....just make sure you will not have the same ending as Jebat.

steadyaku47 comment : If is my firm belief that if Zahid does have a recording of that conversation/meeting he had with Tun Mahathir ....a transcript of that conversation would have long ago be made available to Bernama and all the main stream media under their control for dissemination to the rakyat. 

There will be a lot of bluster...a lot of hot wind blown all over the place...and Zahid will have an excuse, should we all call his bluff, to not share with us the tape of that conversation. Why not get it over with now Zahid and put the contents of the tape under ISA?  

Like that Saudi Royal that he said he met to confirm that the Saudi Royal DID make the RM2.6 billion "donation"...it was a lie.....and we all know now that he never met any Saudi Royal to confirm that they did indeed made that RM2.6 billion donation to Najib. 

And he is trying to pull the wool over our eyes again by claiming that he has a recording of the conversation with Tun Mahathir.

This Zahid, like that ex MB of Selangor....give the Javanese a bad name....but more disturbing is that he thinks we are all fools. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.....and I am not going to shame myself!

3. Bilakah tarikh kedua ibubapanya dan beliau sendiri diberi kerakyatan Malaysia?

4. Apakah pemberian kerakyatan kepada mereka mematuhi prosedur yang ditetapkan oleh undang-undang negara?

5. Jika mereka masuk melalui jalan tidak sah, bagaimanakah cara mereka diberi kerakyatan negara ini?

Sahabatku Zahid,
Kenapa aibkan Tun Dr Mahathir (Tun M) sampai macam ini?
Kenapa ungkit ungkit asal usulnya 
Apa yang salah berkenaan asal usul Tun M?
Bukankah Tun M, Zahid dan saya juga,kita semua sama sama ciptaan Tuhan?
Apa lebihnya asal usul keturunan kita pula? 

Zahid sahabatku,
Kalau Tun M ada buat salah semasa beliau jadi Perdana Menteri selama 22 tahun, maka kritiklah dia secara jujur. Kalau perlu dedahkan kesilapan pentadbirannya,dedahkanlah scars objektif dengan disokong fakta sebagai bukti.Tetapi apa perlunya membangkit bangkitkan asal usul Tun M Di khalayak ramai seperti sengaja untuk memalukannya?
Orang Melayu berkebudayaan tinggi tidak buat macam itu Zahid.
Orang Islam yang menolak faham asabiah atau perkauman sempit tidak akan buat seperti apa yang Zahid buat itu. 

Sahabatku Zahid,
Ini warkah terbuka untukmu.
Apakah masih kenal saya sahabatmu yang bernama Hassan Karim?
Kita sama sama kawan baik semasa di Universiti Malaya awal tahun 70an dulu?

Saya malu Zahid dengan perbuatanmu. Terlajak perayu boleh diundur. Terlajak cakap, buruk padahnya. 

Saya tahu anda berkuasa sekarang. Anda Timbalan Perdana Menteri. Anda orang nombor 2 dalam kerajaan. Tetapi kerana saya anggap anda sahabat baik saya dari dulu sampai sekarang walaupun kita berbeza pendirian politik, maka saya memberanikan diri untuk menegur dan mengkritik anda secara terbuka kali ini. 

Saya malu Zahid dengan keceluparan anda menghina Tun M sampai begitu sekali. Saya juga tak kurangnya dalam mengkritik Tun M. Malahan saya menentang Tun M semasa Dia menjadi PM dulu. Zahid pun tahu hal ini. Tetapi kita buat secara beradab.Soal soal amat peribadi seperti asal usul seseorang kita tidak jaja jajakan Di khalayak ramai. 

Saya tahu sahabatku Zahid Juga Menteri Dalam Negeri yang jaga polis dan penjara. Kalau Zahid hendak tangkap saya, tangkaplah. Saya tidak akan lari. kalau Zahid hendak tuduh saya dengan Akta Hasutan atau Akta Komunikasi dan Multimedia, tuduhlah. Saya tidak akan padam Warkah Terbuka ini. 

Biarlah Warkah ini menjadi bukti bahawa di umur usia emas seperti ini, sebagai sahabat baikmu, saya bangun bersuara mengkritik saudara.

The above bumbling idiot, deputy president of Umno, merangkap Timbalan Perdana Menteri Malaysia, have recently said the following about Tun Dr Mahathir.

Here are the facts about Tun Mahathir Bin Mohamad Bin Iskandar : 

Yang datang dari Kerala bukan Ayahanda Tun.M tetapi Nenda Tun.M bernama Iskandar.

Kerala adalah bukan Bangsa asal India tetapi berketurunan Yaman.

Iskandar ( Nenda ) berkahwin dengan Siti Hawa Dari Johor maka Lahirlah Mohamad pada 1881 di Pulau Pinang.

Mohamad pula berkahwin dengan Wan Tempawan Bt Wan Hanafi maka lahirlah Tun.M @Che Det.

Che adalah kerana Wan berkahwin dengan rakyat kebanyakkan.

Nenda ( Iskandar ) di datangkan oleh Syarikat Hindia Timor ( British ) untuk mengajar Bahasa Inggeris di Istana.

Manakala Mohamad adalah Pengetua Pertama Kolej Sultan Abdul Hamid di Kedah.

Perlu telititi salasilah dan wasilah asli sebelum memuatnaik status keturunan seseorang tanpa kepastian sendiri.

Zahid Hamidi : WHEN?

The first time Zahid Hamidi came into my consciousness was when, as Ketua Pemuda, he stood up as the "berani mati" front guy for Anwar Ibrahim, and proceeded to put in his two cents worth to hantam Mahathir, 

Since then I have kept an eye on him.... (just one eye because the other one is always shut) as that is how these umno guys keep an eye on things to!  

When he was arrested under the ISA in 1998 and spent 10 days in one of His Majesty's Yang di Pertuan Agong's prison, I was one of those who waited to see what he would do upon his release. I saw that come what may, his loyalty to umno remained steadfast. Most commendable.

When he was appointed DPM, my first thought was simply this : What kind of an idiot is this najib razak to appoint someone like Zahid to be DPM if all najib wants is a stop gap measure to allow him to strengthen his hold over umno after his dismissal of Mahyuddin? To me Zahid Hamidi is not going to play second fiddle to anyone - especially to najib razak ...and now that he is DPM, there was no way najib razak can stop him from being PM if he so desired.

The question now is when does Zahid want to be president of umno and from there take for himself whatever has been the providence of past presidents of umno - of which being prime minister of Malaysia is, but just one on the list of choices he will have.

I am sure by now Zahid have already line up a number of his "berani mati" henchman to do the dastardly deed of plunging the knife into najib's back when najib is not looking....or as some joker may say...it is actually into rosmah's back that Zahid must plunge that knife...but I am sure that Zahid will know what he has to do!  

One of your "berani mati" machai must be KJ - he of that "I want to be PM before I am 40" lofty ambitions, with that Oxfart pedigree and a father in law who was once PM and president of umno. Zahid watch your back with this guy.... 

And the other has to be Tajuddin Abdul Rahman, a fellow countrymen from Perak...from Pasir Salak no less - almost a neighbour...and one that can be counted upon to "berani mati" for anybody just as long as the spoils for doing so is lucrative enough!

If you have these two on your side...you are doubly blessed. The three of you are enough to do what ever it is you want to do to najib and spouse. 

The question that you now have to answer for yourself is WHEN?

Listen and learn. The moving pictures speaks....and it does not lie. However Zahid did say "INSYAALLAH"   GOD WILLING.....so maybe ALLAH is not willing for RUU 355 to become a reality? So what does it say about ALLAH and PAS?

The SULTANIZATION of UMNO leaders.

Over the years we have seen UMNO assuming the role that was once the prerogative of the Sultans of the various states in Malaysia. A process started by the British and ironically concluded by the Malays themselves albeit through UMNO. These Sultanization tendencies have evolved over the years to what it is today – an UMNO President living in splendid isolation in a palatial palace call Sri Perdana in Putrajaya surrounded by all the trappings of wealth and power. But I am ahead of myself.
The quest by UMNO leaders towards their Sultanization started with a partiality to ostentatious consumption – Mahyuddins very costly shirts, silk ties, expensive, expensive suits, expensive cars, and grand houses. Khir Toyo’s palace is the manifestation of these tendencies to a T. The Prime Ministers motorcade, the legion of people that seems to be around him everywhere he goes and the splendid, splendid office at Putrajaya is par for the course. Of course to maintain this lifestyle on their meager salaries as Ministers and YB’s meant that they were all susceptible to corruption on a grand scale.

Personalization of authority. In Malaysia all power resides with the Prime Minister. In the state the Mentri Besar title says it all – BIG Minister. This concentration of power in the PM at Federal level and the MB at state level can only give rise to the politics of patronage and nepotism as all largeness flows from these leaders. The wholesale change that is the norm whenever there is a change of these individuals gives rise to the ‘make hay while the sunshine’ mentality. So where the Sultan was ‘king’ in his state it is now the Mentri Besar that dispense favor to the Sultans – in business opportunities, in extending credit to pay gambling debts, in keeping under lid the excesses of the Royal family.

Historical Identity. Like the Sultan who are normally descended from an immediate family tree – UMNO too are comfortable with accepting it leaders when they are descended from families that are closely associated with UMNO - possibly with the exception of Mahathir – because his Indian background precludes that possibility. But at times even when your Father is a A class leader  their genes are known to skip a generation or two. How else can you explain Najib and his cousin Hishamuddin?

For now the Sultans still cling to being the head of religion in their own states. But we can see this too is increasingly becoming the function of the religious authorities – whose salaries and appointments are the function of the central government – controlled, for now, by UMNO. So effectively even in these area UMNO will have a say if not effective control to do as it wishes – with just a nodding familiarity to the Sultans as a mark of respect.  

So, in reality these UMNO leaders – have not only taken power from the Sultans but have also assumed, for themselves, the Sultanization of their own self in the mould of the Sultans that they have now deposed in everything but name.

While the Malays are always seen to be loyal to their sultans and are expected to obey their commands unquestioningly we are all aware of what Hang Tuah had to do to appease his Sultan. Kill a loyal friend – Hang Jebat. I do not think any Malay will any longer want to kill a loyal friend against a pretender to the throne calling itself UMNO. Not when the Sultanization of this pretender was done without due consideration of the rights and aspirations of the Rakyat.

So saudara Zahid....when?

I woke up this morning with little sleep....restless with thoughts of what was happening 3000KM away in K Hell. But it was not a restlessness that sapped away my energy...and God knows that at 69 years of age, there is not that much energy left within me that can be sapped away. 

It is a restlessness within me that wanted to know what others in K Hell were thinking, discussing, debating and, more critical, doing, to bring about the ends days of those despicable couple residing in Seri Perdana sooner rather than later.

It is a restlessness that I felt within me to want to know what has happened while I slept....such is the speed of things happening in the recent past, that at times, even with the ability to know in real time what is happening in K Hell....I still worry that I will miss out on happenings.

Why should I worry? 

I worry that I will not be able to max my own efforts from down under towards the efforts of all our people back home to make change happen. For I know that every effort, even if it was to raise that little finger of yours to those criminal elites within BN, is necessary if we are to achieve our matalamat of riding our nation of the most corrupt prime minister ever!

Within Umno, Zahid's sahabats are already sharpening their parangs and making ready for what they know will come : The time when Umn will have to abandon Najib if it wants to survive Najib's fall from grace. 

For sure Zahid is well place to be PM but his position is not secured - not unless he can move himself away from Najib at the same time as others in Umno has had enough of Najib....and  there is no better way for Zahid to  know that precise moment than to trigger that moment himself! 

  

 

So saudara Zahid....bila lagi.....when?

Divine retribution await those who leak state secrets, civil servants told

PUTRAJAYA, June 23 ― Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi cautioned civil servants today against leaking government secrets, saying this would be a violation of the oaths they had taken in Allah’s name.

The deputy prime minister said divine retribution would await those who break their oaths, apart from punishments from man-made laws like the Official Secrets Act (OSA) 1972.

“If there are those among us who perhaps feel the need to leak or share our secrets with outsiders, then there are laws like the OSA,” he told a breaking of fast event here at his official residence.

But Ahmad Zahid urged for self-restraint, calling this the best form of enforcement.

He cited as example the Muslim obligation to fast during Ramadan, saying that although Islamic law permits religious enforcers to nab those who fail to do so, it was better for adherents to practice self-restraint.

“Therefore, before the laknat (divine retribution) comes from Allah, I am reminding myself and all the government officers here to protect secrets because that is our oath as government officers.

“Our oath is with Allah because we use Allah’s name. This is not a warning, but I am just reminding myself and all of us, because these are the teachings of Ramadan,” he said.

Ahmad Zahid also expressed hope that the fasting month would help train civil servants to have better self-discipline when it comes to handling government secrets.




steadyaku47 comment : When the oath you make civil servants take fails to stop civil servants from leaking state secrets that exposes the pillaging and plundering of our nation's resources by this BN government and when the OSA 1972 also fails to ensure that civil servants have better self-discipline in keeping quiet about the indiscretions of the government they serve...then it is time to invoke the name of ALLAH. 
  
But is there such a thing as "selective divine retribution?"

Does ALLAH divine retribution comes only upon those whom Umno wants ALLAH's laknat to be visited upon? Does PAS also have a say in these "divine interventions?"

What an idiot this DPM of ours is! Invoking the wrath of ALLAH upon those he considers deserving of ALLAH's divine retribution while just last week we are informed by Abu Sayyaf that they were shortchanged of RM3 million out of the RM12 million that this idiot of a DPM tells us "WAS NOT PAID" to Abu Sayyaf but was donated to a Muslim Charity body in the Philippines! 

Abu Sayyaf got only two-thirds of $3 mil ransom to release Malaysian ...
