cakap cakap...the morning after !
It is 9.37 am here in Melbourne. A new dawn, a new day, a new beginning and once again with pride, hope and great expectations, Malaysia once again belongs to all Malaysians.
The last conscious thought on my mind last night as i I was about to fall into deep sleep was simply this....and I must say that it was very selfish of me to think so....it was simply that I can go home when I want to and pray at the graves of my late Father and Mother in Ampang once again before I too, close my eyes.
And this morning all that I wanted to see in the first few days of this momentous new beginning is for Tun Dr Mahathir to instruct PDRM : "TANGKAP NAJIB"...and of course the rest of those scums and dedak infested scoundrels that have been part and parcel of a rotting and decayed BN government that will now have to answer for what they have done in the name of Government.
No, I do not want revenge. I do not want to gloat and ridicule Najib, Rosmah, Zahid, Hishamuddin, Nazri, Bung Mokhtar, Mat Maslan, Hadi, Isa Samad, Sharir, Apandi, Irwan Seregar, Hashim Abdullah, Surayati Binti Ibrahim, Dzulkifli Ahmad,Tony Fernandez, that Tweet of an ex IGP Khalid, Shafee, Azzez, Jho Low, and a host of other dedak infested individuals that have collaborated with this insidious BN government to perpetuate Najib's thieving of our Nations resources....no...no revenge....just allow the Law of the land and an independent judiciary decide on what is their dues !!!
There is much work to be done by Tun, Kit Siang and Anwar Ibrahim...but we know what they will have to do and what they must do...their promise to us needs go be fulfilled...cakap mesti serupa bikin. We must not forget the courage of Mahyuddin and those who have come to our side to fight the good fight against Najib and BN...and of course we must not forget those that have taken Najib's side for financial or personal gains.
They took their chances...however stupid their decision may be....but they declared themselves to be against the wishes of the Rakyat of Malaysia...and for that, they will also face the consequences of their actions. Tony Fenandez must be wetting himself thinking of what is to come in these coming days!
Enough for now....I want to go and read the comments you guys posted on my Facebook...and to the many many friends that have shared and contributed to making our Facebook interesting and informative...and I hope at time entertaining.... thank you so very much.

cakap cakap...Sunday morning.
Selamat Pagi Malaysia !!! It is now 5.56 am Sunday. Let me share with you how I start my day today. I have been awake in my bed since 5 am, thinking and making notes of what I want to write about this morning. At 5.30 am I hobble to the kitchen, took a couple of pain killers to deaden the pain in my right feet because of my gout, made myself a cup of Nescafe and hobbled back to my room...rubbed some Eucalyptus Balm to soothe the pain, put on some socks to keep the morning chill away from my feet, put on a long sleeve shirt over the singlet I have on .... switched on the heater under my table... powered on my Mac...and I am ready to go.
These last few weeks, I have seen my role in this FB and my blog, more as someone whose responsibility is to share with you guys the happenings in our beloved Malaysia. We have many friends who are the eyes and ears that hears and sees everything that is happening around them....and these friends of ours tell me what we need to know, what we should know and what we must know about events and happenings leading to GE14. I read through them all...decide what I think is relevant and post them here in this Facebook and in steadyaku47 with comments where I think appropriate. And then I also write my thoughts to share with you guys....and all this I do with one purpose and one purpose only !!! To do all we can to assist Pakatan Harapan to win government in GE14.
And when I am not doing all this....I take care of my dear wife. Right now she is wide awake...no doubt awaken by my moving around the room and the faint clicking of my keyboard. When she is awake at this time of the morning, invariably, her attention is focussed on me and I assure her that I am aware that she is up and awake by looking her way and going over to her side of the bed to tell her that I love her, give her hugs and tell her to sleep some more as it is too early for her to be up. Whether she understand me or not is moot...but she seems calm and relax this morning...and soon I know she will fall asleep again.
I must now end this start up chat...go read and answer my emails and the comments you sent me...and start my day doing what I love to do...."talking" with you guys via Facebook and steadyaku47. One other thing before I end this "cakap cakap" ....just sharing with you guys one other "syiok sendiri" moment....my steadyaku47 clicks this morning is already 40,697....Life is good.
cakap cakap...BN and GE14
Yesterday I came upon this comment in one of the whatsapp group I am part of :
"On track record BN can win. We owe this much to the world for believing in us. Do our bit for King n country. Kalau bukan kita siapa lagi. Let us be more serious for once. Jangan alpa dalam mimpi kosong je. Salam dan Aamin"
and this is my reply...
I do not write what I am about to write lightly for I know that it will be read by my friends, my classmates and more critical...by my peers. Yes you are all my peers and being my peers I expect a certain level of grey matter, a certain ability to think and rationalise with grace and clarity, when we discuss issues and matters that affects us all. And nothing affects us all then what is to come after GE 14.
It is beyond my comprehension that there are among my peers, those who cannot see the corruption, the rot and the decay and the depths to which this once great, powerful and all conquering Malay party, umno, has now sunk to...unless these believers are also part and parcel of the corruption, the rot and the decay that we now see in umno....something to do with "you cant see the forest for the trees"....you are too close to a situation and you really need to step back and get a little perspective.
I can see the demise of all that is good and graceful with us Malays in umno and its leaders. Are you blind to the corruption within umno. Are you deaf to the repeated use of race and religion by umno to divide and rule this country and its people? Can you not use your mind to figure out what is right and what is wrong about a RM2.6 billion donation from the Saudis? About the 1MDB sovereign fund that is bleeding billions of ringgits? About that Malaysian Producer who put up the cash for "Wolf of Wall Street" and who is now the subject of the US DOJ investigation for money laundering etc. And if your memory is unable to go back that far...can you not see how SPR is now conducting this GE14 to advantage it's political masters to the disadvantage of all of us?
You personally may have gained personally and financially from your service under this BN government....but brother you are one! There are millions of Malaysian that have suffered financially and some personally by the manner BN does government and more of concern to me...are you not able to understand that the problems and troubles of these millions of Malaysian should be of more concern to you then your own personal gains from your service with this BN government? If you cannot see beyond your personal gains....then I know for sure that this BN government has also failed you in making you what you are now : unable to see the forest for the trees. And for those of you who will tell me to be more civil in my discourse here...I only have this to say....when we see among us people who are making fools of themselves, is it not kinder that we tell them so then to allow them to make fools of themselves among others outside our circle? I rest my case...and a very god morning to one and all from me.

cakap cakap....Life.
Sometimes I get tired and weary as age catches up with me....and nothing can convey the feelings within me as this image of me snapped late last night as I contemplated the challenges of working on steadyaku47 that has been banned in Malaysia and a Facebook from which I have been barred - three time this month - because the contents have disturbed the powers that be in Malaysia....plus on top of it all, the pain that Gout inflicts upon those who are afflicted with it...which includes me!
It is a problem to me because the critical mass of people that I needed to reach for are in Malaysia. So how was I, a computer challenged 72 year old man over 6000kms away from K Hell is to overcome these seemingly insurmountable obstacles?
to be continued.

cakap cakap...Jalur Gemilang
This morning, when I powered on my MAC...I spend the first few minutes gazing at our Jalur Gemilang. I saw beyond the traditional Islamic symbols. I saw beyond the 14 point star and 14 stripes.....saw beyond race, religion and the boundaries that divides the states and the divisions that divides us all...and saw only the Malaysia I left over a decade ago.
I saw the Malaysia I grew up in...in such places as Jitra, Tampin, Alor Gajah, Pengkalan Chepa, JB, Kuala Lipis, Kuantan, KL, Shah Alam and Bangsar...the schools I attended, the friends I made, remembered my parents buried in Jalan Ampang, relatives and friends...and all the other things that makes Malaysia my country, my world, my life....and I am truly truly sad for what it has now become!
There are no words to describe the emotions that swirled around and within me...and there was this longing...a yearning...for things that I remembered. What beats in my heart most is the want for the Malays to be what they were then. A respected and graceful people sure of our place among others.
We are no longer that...and that knowledge saddens me in the extreme. And now I know that my children no longer call Malaysia their home. Those of you who have not left Malaysia to go live elsewhere...for whatever reasons...will never understand that within us all that have left, there will always be a sadness within us for what we have left behind. Always....and gazing at the Jalur Gemilang brings all that sadness back. Maaf..

cakap cakap..LIFE
It is now way past midnight...early Monday. I am listening to Broery's "Sabar Menanti"..over and over again...and while it plays in my head I write.
Tonight I had dinner with the largest number of Malays in my 30 years in Australia...eight....all from KL. Good home cooked meal and good company. Decent and graceful people...the kind of people I remember from my days in K Hell decades ago. Good company. We talked of all things Malaysians... mostly politics mostly about what will happen to our grandchildren when we are gone. We are agreed that whoever wins or whoever loses...Najib must still go! And we are agreed that it will take at least two generations for things to begin to change for the better. Over 6000 km from K Hell and still we think of home!
One of them knows me as steadyaku47...and did ask me..."Who pays?" for what I do on the blog. I told him nobody does. I write from my heart and I do what I do because I can. And yes friends....nobody, not even Pakatan Harapan, pays me.... but I will also tell you that all this that I do on steadyaku 47 and my Facebook I will do because I love Malaysia. My country of birth, the country where my parents are buried and the place I still call"Negara Ku"...percaya lah!
With Broery Marantika playing in my head...my thoughts goes to my love...my wife. These past weeks I have spent time making her understand that I still need kisses from her...she can no longer hold me...but kiss me she still can when I put my cheek to her mouth. And she understands. I get many kisses everyday now.Life is good.
I do not know how long more I can keep to the workload I have set myself here on Facebook...but I can tell you this...this I will continue to do for as long as I physically can. It is labour of love...but it is till work.
I thank you all for sending me your thoughts, your comments and things you want to share with me....and sometimes I get sent things that tugs at my heartstrings and makes all that I do here really worth my while...here is one I am sharing with you guys.....for everything that you guys share with me...for all the warm wishes you all send to me and my wife...for the love you all send to us....many many thanks. We love you all.
and yes...I am still listening to Broery's "Sabar Menanti".

cakap cakap...
Hi .....it is now 10.59 pm...Saturday night. I have just put my wife to bed in the bed beside my desk, made myself a strong cup of Nescafe and given myself a treat...a small cupcake for dessert...and now about to start work on this FB and my steadyaku47 blog. I think it will be a good night tonight...have a few things I want to say and the feedback from you guys have given me the oomph to write. Thank you.
PS...I know someone is going to ask me what is that book on the table. If you must know it is ..."The Art of War" by Sun Tzu.....yes lah sometimes I do have a look at what Sun Tzu has to say about fighting our enemies....we need all the help we can get in this lawan!

cakap cakap...
It is now 10.10pm. I have made my cup of Nescafe and soon will put my wife to bed.I anticipate a long night ahead of writing and putting my thoughts and aspirations of what is to come with GE14 onto my blog and here.
Much will be asked from many of us by Pakatan Harapan to help them in any way we can to win GE14. This help that they ask of us will in most cases not be acknowledged by PH, not be thank for by PH, and if they do win GE 14, all this help that we give them, will be forgotten by PH.
I say this not with the hope that I will be thank by PH for whatever it is that I do nor should any of you expect the same. Be prepared to contribute what we can and leave it at that.
The only consolation that can be ours is simply this...if PH wins GE 14 it means that we have helped to put PH into government. And who we put into government, we can also take out!

cakap cakap..Do we Keep Quiet?
I am conflicted. Conflicted between NOT rocking the boat in which we Pakatan Harapan supporters are all in, trying to cross a wind swept and stormy seas towards what we hope to be safe heaven....and conflicted if I should "bersuara"now because I see that there are some in the same boat as us who are rocking the boat.
Allow me to go back to a matter that troubled me a few weeks back. I posted an article "Clare Rewcastle of Sarawak Report is a thief, a liar, a fraudster and a conniving journalist without ethics" Those of you who read what I write will by now know what this is all about. Long story short, Clare Rewcastle stole from me what she thought was a story "bigger then 1MDB" and printed the story in Sarawak Report BEFORE I was ready to go public with it because I still did not have the critical facts that would make the story bigger then 1MDB. Simply put, the whistle blower was not paid a single cent for the story he wanted to sell of how the Idiot siphon billions out of many statutory body for his own profit....and when Clare posted what she know of the story without my permission, the whistle blower no longer wanted to have anything to do with me and since then the story has died. I am not going to go into the right and wrong of paying a whistle blower for information he wants to sell...we will leave that for another day. After a few days of venting my frustrations at Clare in the public domain for not keeping her word to me NOT to print without my permission....I agreed to leave it in the hands of Pakatan Harapan to resolve. Again long story short....YB's and would be YB's in Pakistan Harapan whom I trusted. f**ked me up. So far I have been quiet. Do I still keep quiet or do I put into the public domain what has transpired so that you guys can make your decision as to whether to vote or not to vote for these YB's and want to be YB's of Pakatan Harapan?
That is my story. Since then there have been a number of other story and situations that have mirrored mine and had been told to me by others who have begun to question if we need to be quiet simply because we do not want anything to rock the Pakatan Harapan boat.
The troubling thing is this. As I have said earlier this morning in another posting...HUBRIS and DECADENCE is the reason for umno's precarious position in the lead up to GE14. I know that Tun Mahathir, Lim Kit Siang and Anwar Ibrahim are strong leaders...but what about those within Pakatan Harapan whom we will be asked to vote for? The others who will be part of the team that will do government when Pakatan Harapan arrives in Putrajaya?
Do they deserve to have our votes when they are already suspect in their ability to be honest and credible YB's?
What do you guys think?

cakap cakap...Life.
Selamat Pagi Malaysia. My heart belongs to my wife....from the time we moved in together in London, it has been hers and I hope she takes mine to be hers too. Sometimes I tear up when I know that we will never talk to each other again they way we used to in the past, for you see, Dementia has taken away from her, her ability to talk....but that is a small consideration to pay for we are still together after we first met over fifty years ago!
The only constant that I can remember in my relationship with my wife has been my inability to see any reason to want to leave her, stop loving her or have her out of my life.....and for that I say Amen.
May you all be as fortunate as me in life.

cakap cakap...life
Hi..12.12 am Early Wednesday morning. My routine has changed these past few days. My dear wife insist that I am in bed with her before she falls asleep....falling asleep may take 20 mins or two hours...and when it takes two hours, I invariably fall asleep with her. And that is one of the reasons my work load has considerable slacken these past few days.
We, my son and me, are having a debate between getting another decent wheel chair for her to ensure that she is well supported in the chair when we take her out of the house or doing renovations to the bathroom so that we can have a shower installed so that we do not have to lift her into the bath. With the shower we can just wheel her into the shower area and give her a bath in the wheel chair and wheel her out again when we finish. It is either or...to have both will be too financially challenging. Like everyone else...we adjust to life realities.

cakap cakap ...Saturday morning.
7.54 am. Saturday 24th March 2018 : cakap cakap...i would like to say thank you to many of you who have sent me stuff that has helped me immensely in making this FB page interesting, entertaining (I hope) and informative. This FB page is never about I, me or myself. What I try to do here is to articulate your thoughts, your ideals, your aspirations and at times your anger and frustrations of the way things are in our country today. So if you read what I write and think that that is how you feel about an issue you can be rest assured that that was not by accident...from the messages and comments you send me, I try to gauge the message you want to put across to the powers that be...and if those messages resonates with mine...and more often then not they do...then I write it and have it posted on this FB and on my blog steadyaku47.
Increasingly I give more and more of this FB to you guys while I take a back seat and just write. Of course I take responsibility for everything that is posted here. I choose what to post and I decide how to manage the information, data and heaps and heaps of "news" that you guys send to me. ...and i do so well aware that we are all in this together.
And now let me share with you a story...
Let me tell you a story about an old man who lived in a small village somewhere that does not matter. It all began when the man’s sons came to him and told him that some people from the neighbouring village had stolen a chicken from their farm. The old man told his sons to go after the thieves and recover the chicken.
The sons said, “Father, it’s only one chicken. We have hundreds of chicken. One won’t make a difference.” The old man said, “Do what you please.”
A few days later, the thieves stole a goat. Once again the old man told his sons to not let them get away with it. The sons said that they have dozens of goats and it’s not worth the trouble. The next week it was a horse. Once again the sons rationalised it away saying that they still had six horses that the farm needs.
Finally, the next week the sons came back to report to the old man and said, “Father, our sister has been abducted. What shall we do?” The old man said, “It’s too late. You should have recovered the chicken. Now there’s nothing you can do.”
so my friends "they" have yet too steal your sister...but they have already stole your chicken, your goat and your horse. Do you not think you should now act before anything else is stolen?
Vote Pakatan Harapan...

cakap cakap...The Petition.
Some of us Malaysians in OZ, want to do our part to get the Australian government to do their part about taking action against Malaysians who are buying properties here with money they looted from Malaysia. Take acton against any Malaysians who are using Oz to store and launder their ill gotten gains from corruption and the scams they perpetrated upon the people of Malaysia and of course, to take action against any CID chief who is stupid enough to think that they can get away with stashing their ill gotten gains in banks in Oz.
That last comment about that CID Chief must have brought a cynical smile from some of you! Yes I did smile when I first heard about the antics of "that" senior PDRM officer who had almost RM one million seized from his bank here by the authorities.
Brings back memories to that time when Mike Tyson was caught with his trouser down doing the same thing.......and thinking that he could get away with it by pleading stupidity. You have to be stupid if, as the Menteri Besar of Selangor, you do not understand the rules of a country you are visiting. Same same with this CID chief...ahh stupidity seems to be a badge of honour many Malays in high public office seems to exhibit in the things they do. And as they say, the fish rots from the head down....and I know and you know where I am going....down South to Seri Perdana where the King and Queen of Stupid lives! But I digress.
As I was saying at the start of this posting...some of us Malaysians in Oz want to do our part to get the Australian government to act against any Malaysians who think that they can take advantage of the goodness and kindness of the Australain people and the Australian government, to hide, park or lauder their ill gotten dedak in Australia.
To this end, we are preparing a petition to demand that the Australian government take action against dedak infested Malaysians who are now making Australia their preferred base to
"invest" the dedak they "collected" from Bolehland....and we ask that you guys join us in this effort by co signing the petition we are now preparing to ask the Australian government to do just that.
Can?

cakap cakap...pagi Rabu.
Selamat Pagi. Yesterday I lied. I said no more SR but I woke to a message from Rasid Harun "Sarawak report published their version of a story about you".....so what to da lah...got to print the story I had written but did not want to print to let you guys know what has happened between SR and me.
How does it feel when you become the story instead of you writing the story? For a start....by the end of the day, I will have more people in the know about what I do....some will like me and some will hate me...the reasons they like me or hate me will depend on what they know of what I do.
Either way it is okay with me because I know what I do and that is what really matters to me.
Last night as I was about to fall asleep...I wrote this:
Each day that I live is a day less that is left of my life...and yet even as I thought of that, I told myself why not think that each day that I live is another day more of my life? That I think is how we all should look at life...thankful for everyday that we have.
And I am thankful of life.
As I was discussing how I was going to get myself motivated again after the Clare situation, I saw this message from Mandy Ping for me "The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies"...how true....such is life. and I want Mandy Ping to know that her message to me made me turn the corner form negativity to positivity. Thank you.
Just this minute I saw that there is another message from Clare...and i am sharing it with you guys as soon as I finish reading it.
"I have replied. You gave me no choice but to tell the full truth. I suggest you do the right thing now and put out the rest of the material that you have.... with all this public interest now, you never know you might even find someone now to buy the real smoking gun documents. That was a strategy that I had suggested after it became plain that the documents you were showing were never going to find a buyer on their own. But, my writing and research has now positioned their importance far more clearly for the sort of people you were approaching. So, good luck to you on that. Personally, as you know, I think you should forget the money and do the right thing. I would be happy to join in the applause if you did".
Yours
Clare
steadyaku47 comment : She has her opinion of what she did and I have mine. You guys decide which one you want to believe. Enough said.
And now onwards to Putrajaya.

cakap cakap...PH politicians must understand that they will be subjected to much harsher standards of propriety and responsibility then BN politicians
I am under no illusion that politicians on both sides of the divide are prone to embellish their political rhetoric from time to time to suit the prevailing conditions. Not only am I under no illusions that this is done, but I dare to say that there are times when doing so can be justified when the other side have already thrown any sense of accountability and responsibility in the things they do and say, to the wind. The new normal of politics in Bolehland today requires the cunning of a fox, the guile of a leopard hunting for prey and a total commitment to the "kill or be kill" mantra if one is to survive in Bolehland.
So....are there any any honour or grace, left among politicians? Are there politicians to whom I would bow in respect for they will do for us more then what they will do for themselves?
I think there are.
For Tun Dr Mahathir I would do so. For Lim Kit Siang...I would do so. There are maybe a dozen others who would deserve to be respected in that way...but everyday that number dwindles. In these last few days alone, my respect for some PH politicians have plummet for what they have done in the name of political expediency. I will not name names, I will not infer what race, what party within PH they come from and I will certainly not go further then express my misgivings in my blog and Facebook for their lapse in judgement - whether intentional or not.
Suffice to say that I give notice that should push comes to shove....I will not hesitate to put these misgiving into the public domain.
PH politicians must understand that they will be subjected to much harsher standards of propriety and responsibility then BN politicians. PH politicians meed to know that we will not tolerate any lapse of ethics and grace in the things they do in the name of politics. And we do this not because we love them less but because we love them more...for are they not going to be those who will lead us after GE 14?
Enough said.

cakap cakp...before sleep.
Salam...it is past 2am in Fitzroy and I am in a reflective mood. All is quiet and nothing disturbs my thoughts except when I want it to be disturbed. Today, like these past week, have been unsettling for me because there are issues I need to face and handle and there are decisions I need to make. Let me wrestle with these "disturbance" with help from I , me and myself. Together I think we can resolve the issues sooner if not later. While waiting for these issues to be resolved...life goes on.
I am trying to get to grips with the ever changing goal posts of what is now "normal" in bolehland. Today nobody turns to look anymore at corruption in JPJ. Corruption in Immigration or in the various Dewan Bandarayas. With the latest incident involving the CID Director and his RM one million seized cash stash in Australia, a new benchmark has been set in PDRM. Who will top that remains to be seen.
MACC is run by a fornicating KP whose time there is totally, completely and ultimately in the hands of the Idiot. So you can expect the KP to do as told and when asked...he will also jump through hoops and dance to any tune being played.
The Judiciary is long gone to the dogs. Putrajaya, lock stock and barrel, has embrace the dedak culture perpetrated by its numero uno resident in Seri Perdana.
So what else is new? What shall set the bench mark of what is normal in Bolehland tomorrow and the days to come?
Your guess is as good as mine. About the only peak left that the Idiot can try to climb is the arrest of Kit Siang and Tun Mahathir. I would put that possibility ahead of PAS winning more seats this time around then in GE 13.....meantime we wait.
I remember a popular phrase some time back....Malaysia Inc. Today the same phrase enters my head with a twist...Malaysia Incapacitated. How long before we get slapped with a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) bracelet?
What is being done to our country today is something that even Tun Mahathir, in his infinite wisdom then, was not able to think possible. And yet it has come to pass that it is possible and Tun has lived long enough to see it done...and all that he has worked for is now undone. He intends to do something about it. It is a work in progress...let us all work with him on this one.
Towards this end I have become someone that I would not have liked to meet a few years ago. Then I was busy with my own life, Busy with keeping body and soul together as I tried to come to terms with the initial onset of Frontal Lobe Dementia that my dear wife had just been diagnosed with. And then I was naive about the newly anointed incoming Idiot that was going to damm our country into what it has now become....a pariah among nations where prime ministers with RM2,6 billion in their bank accounts are deservedly anointed pariahs.
Today almost every waking hours of my life, if not spent taking care of my wife, is spent in putting my thoughts and yours, onto my blog and here in FB. Thoughts about how we can make change happen.
Those of you who know me will know that my attention span is, at best, questionable. I am amazed that I have kept this bogging thing going for almost a decade. I hope that I will be able to keep going, at this rate, for another few months. Let us encourage each other to stay focus on the work at hand. Amen.
Sudah pukul 3.01 pagi....and now I lay me down to sleep. Good nite.

cakap cakap : Saudara Hussein.....
Sometime in Jun 2015 I received this from abu hassan adam. I do not know abu hassan then, nor do I know him know...but reading what he wrote to me some years ago only serves to remind me that nothing much has changed and what he wrote them is still relevant today.
Saudara Hussein,
Salam. Hanya luahan hati seorang yang kecewa.
