1. Lim Kit Siang tidak mencadang atau menyokong pengenalan GST yang membebankan rakyat jelata.

2. Lim Kit Siang tidak mencadang atau menyokong keputusan menghapuskan subsidi sehingga naik harga barang dan toll.

3. Lim Kit Siang tidak mencadang atau menyokong kenaikan harga minyak petrol dan diesel.

4. Lim Kit Siang tidak pernah bersetuju untuk menggunakan wang KWAP untuk melabur dalam perniagaan atau perusahaan yang tidak menguntungkan.

5. Lim Kit Siang tidak pernah dirundingi untuk menukar surat hak-milik tanah peneroka Felda yang sangat bernilai dan tidak turun harganya dengan sijil saham yang tidak menentu harganya dan kini harga sahamnya merudum turun kerana dilanda kerugian.

6. Lim Kit Siang tidak pernah menjadi perajurit dalam angkatan tentera dan tidak tahu menahu mengenai Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera; beliau tidak terlibat dalam keputusan menggunakan wang tabung LTAT untuk membiayai projek yang tidak menguntungkan. 

7. Lim Kit Siang tidak pernah pinjam duit Mara untuk berniaga atau sebagai biasiswa waktu beliau belajar; beliau juga tidak pernah merestui penyelewengan yang kini dikatakan berlaku dalam MARA.

8. Lim Kit Siang belum memeluk ugama Islam dan beliau tidak pun tahu mengenai salahguna wang Lembaga Urusan dan Tabung Haji untuk pelaburan yang merugikan.

9. Lim Kit Siang, kerana belum memeluk ugama Islam, tidak pernah membayar zakat itulah sebabnya dia tidak tahu bahawa pejabat ugama mengadakan lawatan ke Paris sebagai salah satu acara dalam 'Kursus Pernikahan'.

10. Lim Kit Siang bukan seorang Melayu/Bumiputera dan dia tidak merasa penderitaan, dan bukan sebab kepada penderitaan, maka biasiswa anak-anak Melayu dikurangkan jumlahnya oleh kerajaan. 

11. Bukan Lim Kit Siang yang menamatkan khidmat Peguam Negara.

12. Bukan Lim Kit Siang yang menukar pegawai MACC kerana menyelidiki kes yang melibatkannya.

13. Bukan Lim Kit Siang yang mencadangkan dikenakan label OSA atas semua hasil penyelidikan atas sebarang salahlaku dalam apa jua syarikat, badan dan agensi kerajaan.

14. Bukan Lim Kit Siang yang menghalang Bank Negara Malaysia dari mengambil tindakan atas penyelewengan dalam institusi kewangan dalam dan luar negara.

15. Bukan Lim Kit Siang yang mencadang untuk membeli kapal selam Scorpine; dan bukan dia yang suruh Sirul dan rakannya untuk membunuh Altantuya.

16. Bukan Lim Kit Siang yang suruh SPRM untuk menyelidik dan tangkap perasuah-perasuah kecil supaya perasuah yang lebih hebat kelihatan tidak rasuah.

17. Bukan Lim Kit Siang yang mengarah media perdana supaya setiap hari mengutuk Tun Dr. Mahathir walaupun beliaulah yang telah mengharumkan negara Malaysia di zaman pemerintahannya selama 22 tahun menjadi Perdana Menteri.

18. Lim Kit Siang tidak pernah terbabit dalam sebarang skandal seks.

19. Lim Kit Siang tidak pernah terlibat dalam sebarang skandal kewangan. 

20. Lim Kit Siang tidak menjadi pengeluar filem lucah di Hollywood dengan memakan belanja wang yang disalurkan dari syarikat milik negara.

21. Lim Kit Siang tidak pernah melabur wang negara yang dicurinya di Singapura, Hongkong, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Amerika Syarikat dan namanya tidak pernah disebut sebagai penjenayah dalam mana jua mahkamah didunia. 

22. Lim Kit Siang tidak pernah merancang untuk membawa 1.5 juta rakyat dari Bangladesh sehingga rakyat Bangladesh melebihi jumlah rakyat keturunan India yang ada dalam negara sekarang ini.

23. Lim Kit Siang juga bukan perancang untuk membenarkan ratusan ribu Cina dari negara Komunis China untuk membeli harta milik tetap (freehold) dan tinggal di negara ini.

24. Lim Kit Siang juga tidak boleh disalahkan jika harta-harta yang sangat bernilai seperti Lapangan Terbang Sungai Besi dijual kepada syarikat dari negara Komunis China.

25. Lim Kit Siang tidak boleh disalahkan jika kos pembangunan satu-satu projek, seperti keretapi di Pantai Timur dinaikkan harganya sehingga Negara terhutang sejumlah yang sukar untuk dibayar dari hasil projek berkenaan.

Lim Kit Siang menyokong HAK ISTIMEWA ORANG-ORANG MELAYU DAN BUMIPUTERA, walaupun Lim Kit Siang telah menegur apabila Hak Istimewa ini tidak dinikmati secara keseluruhan bangsa Melayu/Bumiputera.

Lim Kit Siang menyokong serampang dua mata DASAR EKONOMI BARU iaitu untuk MEMBASMI KEMISKINAN dan MENYUSUN SEMULA MASYARAKAT, tetapi Lim Kit Siang menegur apabila terlalu ramai orang Melayu dan kaum-kaum lain yang masih ramai kekal miskin dan Lim Kit Siang juga menegur apabila peroses menyusun semula masyarakat tidak mencapai matlamat kerana cara pelaksanaannya. 

29. Lim Kit Siang tidak bertanggungjawab, malah tidak tahu menahu mengenai penubuhan 1MDB; tidak pernah menjadi penasihat atau ahli lembaga pengarah, pegawai atau pekerjaa di 1MDB.

Media Statement by DAP Parliamentary Leader and MP for Gelang Patah Lim Kit Siang in Kuala Lumpur on Friday, 17th February 2017:

Ministers have shown that they lack Malaysian patriotism as they are indifferent and unmoved by Malaysia’s infamy and ignominy of being regarded worldwide as a global kleptocracy as a result of 1MDB international money-laundering scandal

All Barisan Nasional Ministers are not only guilty of colossal negligence and irresponsibility of the first degree when at Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting, they could set up a special task force (STF) to conduct a probe into Bank Negara forex losses more than two decades ago but dare not breathe a word on the monstrous 1MDB kleptocratic money-laundering scandal, they have done worse.

They have shown that they lack Malaysian patriotism, that they could be indifferent and unmoved by Malaysia’s infamy and ignominy of being regarded world-wide as a global kleptocracy. 

At the last Parliamentary meeting, I had explained that kleptocracy is a government of 3Ps – Pencuri, Perompak and Penyamun.

Which Malaysian who loves Malaysia and is patriotic can be indifferent to the country’s shame, infamy and ignominy of being regarded as a global kleptocracy – when even ordinary Malaysians fight shy of admitting that they are Malaysians when abroad for they will be confronted with a load of questions about Malaysia being a global kleptocracy!

I call on all Barisan Nasional Ministers to resign as Ministers if they are not prepared to do anything to give top priority to clear or purge Malaysia of the infamy and ignominy of being regarded worldwide as a global kleptocracy.

Are there no other leaders in the 13 parties in Barisan Nasional who are patriotic enough to want to make the clearing or purging of Malaysia’s international infamy and ignominy as a global kleptocracy the top national agenda of the country?

If so, then it is a very sad day for Malaysia, when even the PAS President Datuk Hadi Awang has no problem with Malaysia being regarded worldwide as a global kleptocracy so long as Muslims are the leaders in the country – ignoring the fact that even if UMNO is ousted from Putrajaya in the next general elections by Pakatan Harapan and Bersatu, it is a Malay and Muslim who will be Prime Minister and not a non-Malay or a non-Muslim.

Although the leaders of the Barisan Nasional parties and even PAS can accept Malaysia as a global kleptocracy, I do not believe that the ordinary members of UMNO, MCA, Gerakan, MIC, the Sabah and Sarawak Barisan Nasional component parties, or even PAS, can accept Malaysia’s international infamy and ignominy of being a global kleptocracy.

If there is a national referendum as to whether the objective of clearing or purging Malaysia’s international infamy and ignominy as a global kleptocracy should be the top national priority, I have no doubt that the ordinary members of UMNO, MCA, Gerakan, MIC, Sabah and Sarawak BN parties, as well as of PAS, will stand on a united front with the members of DAP, PKR, Amanah and Bersatu to want to clear or purge Malaysia of the ignominy and infamy of a global kleptocracy as they are all Malaysian patriots.

If the top leaders of UMNO and the Barisan Nasional parties, as well as PAS, are not prepared to be patriots and to be proud of Malaysia as a model of integrity, tolerance and moderation where different races, religions, languages and cultures could co-exist in peace and understanding, I believe the ordinary members of UMNO, Barisan Nasional parties, PAS can agree with the ordinary members of DAP, PKR, Amanah and Bersatu that as Malaysian patriots, we want a clean, incorruptible, moral and good government!

Last week, the Minister for Communication and Multimedia, Datuk Seri Salleh Keruak said the Bumiputera Finance Malaysia (BMF) scandal during Mahathir’s administration was worse in terms of national exposure than the 1MDB scandal, making the ludicrous claim that the government’s exposure through 1MDB involved only the paid-up capital of only RM1 million.

If Salleh is right, then why didn’t Cabinet also set up a special task force on the BMF scandal?

The Cabinet should initiate official inquiries into both the BMF scandal and the Bank Negara forex losses, but even more important and urgent, is official probe and accountability into the 1MDB scandal, which is the worst financial scandal in the nation’s history. Will Salleh propose an official inquiry into the BMF scandal or does he admit that his earlier comments about the BMF scandal was both superficial and irresponsible?

It has been said that a picture tells a thousand words.

Such a picture appeared in the local media today when the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak attended the UEM Group anniversary dinner yesterday. Flanked on the left was the UEM Group chairman Tan Sri Dr Ahmad Tajuddin Ali and on his right was the Khazanah Nasional Bhd deputy chairman Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop

UEM Group is wholly owned subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional Bhd, but the interest is not on UEM or Khazanah but on the Mohd Yakcop, the former Minister because he was the key player in the Bank Negara forex losses more than two decades ago.

Mohd Yakcop had been hiding important national secrets from the people of Malaysia for over two decades, and it is time that he should tell the people the truth about the Bank Negara forex losses.

They cannot stop us....and Kit Siang is not a Chinese and I am not a Malay. We are all Malaysians first.

So Umno thinks they are in total control of all things Malaysians! They can ram through legislation in Parliament. They no longer answer questions of public interest by stone walling or simply dismiss, ignore or just not giving the answers that our representatives in parliament asks them. They arrest members of parliament at the very gates of parliament or anywhere they chose to do so. The Judiciary do their bidding. PDRM act as their bully boys to harass, persecute, intimidate, detain, arrest and persecute at will any one this Umno led BN government think to be a threat to them. This BN government keeps an uneasy truce with the civil service by using a big stick to intimidate and harass civil servants and periodic bonuses and raises in salaries which this nation can ill afford. Everyone else that has any dealings with government are under their spell as intimidation and money are used whenever needed to keep them all subjugated.

It would seem that way if you are easily intimidated. 

It would seem that way if you are impressed by superficiality and easily persuaded by the main stream media, one sided television programs favouring the BN government or the endless threats to punish and imprisoned any one that is a threat to "national security".....a euphemism for the Umno led BN government...though I submit that a "corrupt and arrogant" BN government, would be closer to the truth. 

Let Umno think what they want. 

Let BN do their worst. 

Let Najib think that cash is King and he being the man with billions in his bank account is the King. 

For all I care let those in Umno do their worst to the opposition, to the Chinese, to the Christians and anyone else they care to do their worst to. 

I say to them all...FUCK YOU!    

They cannot block every blog that tells our people that these Umno and BN leaders are pillaging and plundering their country.

They cannot prevent every Malaysian from thinking, wanting and doing what is best for themselves and for their country.

They cannot bludgeon every demonstrators and every protestors that dares to stand against the might of this odious corrupt government into submission.
  They cannot detain, arrest and incarcerate every dissident, every anti government activists and opposition politician that stands in their way of governing this nation of ours for their financial gain and political advantage.

And when the next general election is upon us, there is nothing they can do to stop our people from voting to elect them out of government and out of our lives.

There is nothing they can do, unless they intend to not let us chose those whom we want to lead us! 

Do you think they will do so?

Do you think Najib and this Umno led BN government will dare to even consider this possibility... or do you think that they already have in mind to do just that? 

Do not jump to conclusion. Do not second guess what they will or will not do. 

In a fight with Najib and this Umno led BN government we cannot control what they will do. 

We can control only ourselves! 

For all that they now control, for all the money that they have and for all the political will that they can garner to hold on to political power at all costs, what they cannot teach themselves and those who are with them, is courage!  

Courage to face those who are against them when the odds are not in their favor. 

Courage to stand up for what they believe in if they think they will lose what they have. 

And of course they cannot teach their people to have the courage to do what the opposition have been doing all these years....persevere and continue to fight for what they think is right...no matter the odds. 

And this courage that I talk about.... many of us and our leaders have by the spadeful. 

Almost all leaders in the opposition have  faced time in prison.

All leaders within the opposition have been under the threat of going to prison. 

All have had the probability of losing their ability to earn a living, to feed their family or even lose all that they have, thrown in their face by the Umno led BN government just because they oppose the government. 

But physical and mental threats to their personal self no longer trouble any one any more. 

Today going to prison is par for the course not only for opposition leaders but for opposition supporters too....and we expect physical and mental abuse to be meted out by PDRM upon anyone of us at any confrontation - peaceful or otherwise.

And yet as ready as we are for anything that this corrupt and arrogant Umno led BN government can throw at us, there are still times when our leaders and us are moved to tears.

And today I see that Lim Kit Siang has been moved to tears when an idiot of a state mufti classify non-Muslims Malaysians as “kafir harbi” who could be slain.

No my friend...to me Lim Kit Siang is not a "kafir harbi" nor is he a Chinese. He is not a Chinese and I am not a Malay for we are all Malaysians first.  

Lim Kit Siang is first a Malaysian Leader of the first order! He is among the people crucial in ensuring that the Malaysia that we want, the Malaysia that we need and the Malaysia that we aspire to, will become a reality. 

This Lim Kit Siang is also a Malaysian admired and respected by many Malaysians.....any Malaysians .....and then, somewhere in that mix...he is also a Chinese. 

But if anyone seeks to malign and unfairly chastise the Malays, I will not be quite and I know what I will do....and so will Lim Kit Siang know what to do if any one seeks to malign and unfairly chatise the Chinese  for we will not hesitate to defend our own, for that too is the way of Malaysians. What will we do?.....remember this from Pulp Fiction?

   

So when Kit Siang cries I too am moved to tears....and so should you if you care and has love for this nation of ours.  

Once you and I are done crying...let us all think together what we need to do together to ensure that there will be a general election when one is due...and that we can, in that general election, choose the government we want without fear or favor.

    

All this starts now...you must understand that the fight starts now....in earnest. Send a message, in any way you can, that if this Umno led BN government is thinking about NOT having a general election to ensure that they WILL continue their pillaging and plundering of our nation for another five years....you must send a message to them that you will not stand for it.

Lim Kit Siang will not stand for it....so why should you!

Day #12 (Polling Eve): After Ceramah and PC in Bintulu, now Sdr Pak Samat & Sdr Lim Kit Siang on the way (200km++ about 3-hr drive) to Miri for final day campaign for three DAP candidates in Miri area.

steadyaku47 comment : A picture is worth a thousand words....The white hair Malay with the flowing white beard is 81 years old. The Chinese man beside him is 75. 

The older man is Pak Samad - Pejuang Sastera - Malaysia's National Laureate  and the "younger man" is a politician of the first order..both living legends who are still tirelessly working to make Malaysia a better place.

In Questions of Jurisprudence, Ethics and Morality Hubris Still Prevails. But the end is nigh!

Consider this! 

To add to the ongoing investigations by foreign government on this prime minister of ours, there is now that arrest yesterday in Abu Dhabi of the Former Senior Fund Manager who now faces an Extradition Request to the United States.  

As if to confirm his links to the man, Najib is pictured ominously standing close to the man in a signing ceremony of sorts involving 1MDB, that Najib has graced with his presence. Quiet like that familiar picture taken on board the Tattoosh off Monaco with other conspirators of the 1MDB caper, all known to Najib and all complicit and under investigation for the billions lost by 1MDB.

 

Now we have this investigation by Luxembourg's state prosecutor that is focused on the origin of four transfers in 2012 and one at the start of 2012 for a total of several hundreds of millions of dollars. 

Within the country a quiet insurrection of sorts, still bereft of any outbreak of open revolt, rebellion or riots of any manner, prevails.  

The political entity of which Najib is now President is awash with loose talk and open rebellion, as those from the akar umbi (grassroots) begins to openly revolt against the callousness of their Ketuas who are, for the majority, still greedily engaged with their snouts at the trough gouging what they can from their "cash is King" leader and from our country's coffers.

Most worrying for Najib Razak, the begging of organised revolt headed by the person who brought into existence the very Umno Baru that Najib is now president of, has begun. Tun Dr Mahathir with Najib's former deputy, Mahyuddin Yasin, with a host of senior opposition leaders headed by that irrepressible Lim Kit Siang are now all in alignment and agreement that Najib must go.

The last line of defence for Najib is no longer his cash pile that use to sit anonymously within his own personal bank account that used to be his to do as he liked.....no..... that is no longer possible...not after the Sarawak Report so rudely exposed the presence of those billion of ringgits in the cash pile to the world at large.      

Today, if truth be told, Najib last line of defence is Zahid Hamidi....the man he elevated to be his deputy. From the time of Anwar Ibrahim, Zahid Hamidi has been the man who wanted to be King....and now that he is the Crown Prince. do you doubt that he will take from Najib Razak what he thinks is his...the Presidency of Umno?

All that is left now is for Zahid Hamidi to decide the moment when he will dismiss Najib Razak....and Rosmah or no Rosmah....that will be done by Zahid in the fullness of time. 

Saya, bersama dengan Tun Dr Mahathir, Lim Kit Siang, Mat Sabu, Mahyuddin, Anwar Ibrahim and all you ordinary mortals out there in Bolehland, shall await that moment impatiently. 

If I was Najib I would take whatever "graceful" exit offered by Zahid. If I was Rosmah....I will start packing.

Has Kit Siang the moral courage to declare may the best person be PM should Pakatan Harapan ever win a GE? I think not!

There are a few things that we need to talk about without fear or favor. You may say that the Internet is not the place to talk of things that we feel strongly about. Things on which we may differ in substance and in fact. Of things that are best discussed within the confines and privacy of four walls, among old friends and those with whom we share a common empathy with on matters close to our heart....race, religion, and possibly Anwar Ibriahim, Najib, Hadi or even Mahathir. And even among friends that we have known all our life we would still need to know what we can or what we should talk about lest we intrude into their personal space which they would prefer to keep private.  

But I have no such limits when I speak with me, myself and I. Today we want to talk about Anwar Ibrahim. 

I have talked about Anwar Ibrahim many times in the past. At one time, I have supported Anwar Ibrahim unconditionally : So I will give that support to Anwar Ibrahim and to Pakatan Rakyat - and give it fully and unconditionally until after the day Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim is elected as our Prime Minister!

I have also flayed him mercilessly: There may be honor amongst thieves...but there is none within Anwar Ibrahim!

And there have been times when I waxed lyrical about the Anwar that I knew : Anwar Ibrahim...He cannot dance ...he cannot sing!

So over the years I have had my say re Anwar Ibrahim. Today, again, I want to have my say on Anwar Ibrahim because I think it is relevant in the context of the emergence of Pakatan Harapan.

Anwar Ibrahim is making Lim Kit Siang into a fool....an old fool, but nevertheless, still a fool. 

From many years back I have often wondered how it was that Kit Siang could do a back flip and think that Anwar Ibrahim should lead Pakatan Rakyat and is fit to be the prime minister of Malaysia should Pakatan Rakyat take government. This was the same Lim Kit Siang that has hantam Anwar Ibrahim from time immemorial while Anwar was in Umno.

I excused him then because I know that in politics there are times when the end justifies the means. Kit Siang was never fooled by the public facade that Anwar wanted us all to see  - neither was the late great Karpal Singh -  but both kept the faith with Anwar and went through two general elections with Anwar Ibrahim as the designated PM should they win the GE. 

Now that two general elections have been lost, Anwar is incarcerated again and Pakatan Rakayat is no more, what is Kit Siang doing again? 

Before Pakatan Harapan is off and running...he again endorses Anwar Ibrahim as the designated PM should Pakatan Harapan wins government. Really? And if Anwar Ibrahim is unable, for whatever reason, to be PM - who else then? Azizah to take his place? And if not Azizah...Nurrul to take Azizah's place? 

Enough of this nonsense! 

PKR may be a "family incorporated" entity whose rank and file are required....nay not required but are forced by Anwar Ibrahim to swear alligience to Anwar Ibrahim.....but if Pakatan Harapan is to have any credibility among those of us who now knows Anwar Ibrahim, Azizah and Nurrul only too well, then there must be a culture of meritocracy within Pakatan Harapan - a culture unclouded and unburden by any sense of entitlement by anyone, however deserved! 

I hope Kit Siang will have the moral courage to declare "may the best man/women" be PM should they ever win a GE. Kit Siang knows, better than most, that Anwar Ibrahim is not deserving of that honor - and neither is Azizah. 

Of course as a Malay I want a Malay to be prime minister but only if he is deserving of that honor and of that responsibility. If there is no Malay deserving of that honor, then I am prepared to swear allegiance to a Chinese, Indian, Dayak or Kadazan Prime Minister...unconditionally!
