Man gives flying kick to Police (Video) ......IGP please explain!

Hoo Waa! 

I am told this happened in Sabah. A member of the public comes out of his very expensive four wheel drive and without any provocation gives a flying kick to a member of the Police! 

Now if this happened in Johor when the Sultan before the present one reigned, we may presume that the one giving the flying kick to the Police Bantuan may either be the Sultan himself, the Tengku Makhota or some closely connected kerabat raja...but this is in Sabah! 

Can the IGP please explain!

I mean there have been that instance a few years back when one IGP hantam an ex DPM until the ex DPM was half dead. That we can understand because the ex DPM did provoked the IGP by calling him "anjing"......which, in my opinion, was deserved... though there are other animal names I myself would have preferred to use.    

But what does PDRM do to members of the public (no matter who the f*#k he is!) who gives a flying kick to member of PDRM without provocation? Even if it happened on Sabah.

Again I ask the IGP...please explain!

To My Dear Fellow Singapore Chinese: 

Shut Up When a Minority is Talking about Race.

People of Chinese descent make up 70% of the population of Singapore. Singapore Chinese, as they are termed, enjoy systemic, racialized and institutional privilege in the country as opposed to the countries’ minorities (primarily racialized as Indian and Malay).

“Chinese privilege”, as Sangeetha Thanapal has named it, functions very similarly to white privilege in the United States and Europe. To use Peggy McClintock’s notion of white privilege and the invisible knapsack, Chinese privilege functions like an “invisible package of unearned assets which I can count on cashing in each day, but about which I was ‘meant’ to remain oblivious. [Chinese] privilege is like an invisible weightless backpack of special provisions, maps, passports, codebooks, visas, clothes, tools and blank checks.” As a Singapore Chinese person, when I am in Singapore, I never need to think twice about whether my race/ethnicity is represented on mainstream media, whether my languages are spoken, whether my religions are allowed to exist, whether I can catch a taxi. All these things are little aspects of Chinese privilege which is very similar to how white privilege functions. You can find out more about the concept of white privilege here.

Despite Chinese privilege in Singapore being very real, there is little or no recognition of this concept within the national public sphere and discussions of race. Attempts by minorities such as Thanapal to name this privilege often receive hostile attack from Singapore Chinese, who employ defensive mechanisms similar to deniers of white privilege—to name privilege is divisive, to name privilege is not a solution, to name privilege is rude, to name privilege is racist. In a stroke of unfunny irony, what happens then is that minorities who call out Chinese racism are then termed racist by their aggressors.

This is very sad because Singapore Chinese themselves often complain how they are victims of racism themselves, particularly when they visit Western countries. They complain about being complimented on their command of English (don’t these people know we were colonized by the English?!), complain about being treated as second-class citizens while abroad. However, they are in complete denial of how they take on the very role of what they claim to be victim of at home. In other words, they complain about racist treatment while overseas while being racist towards minorities in Singapore.

So if you are a Singapore Chinese person—and I am a Singapore Chinese person myself—if someone who is not white or not Chinese starts talking about race, you should really think about doing the following things.

1. Shut up and listen. Because of your privilege, the speaker will be saying a lot of things that are foreign to your experience. But that you don’t think they are “true” doesn’t mean that they are untrue, it’s rather than your privilege shields you from seeing these things.

2. Stop asking them to justify their thoughts and for facts, statistics, data, argument. It’s not the job of marginalized people to educate you.Undertake your own education.

3. Your point of view is not important. If someone is speaking about race in Singapore who is neither white nor Chinese, their stories are not told as frequently as yours. So stop making their narratives about you and what you think. This is not your party.

4. It’s also not up for you to decide whether the person speaking is “right” or “wrong.” That you think your opinion is important is already indicative of how much privilege you have, and how ignorant you are of it.

5. Because you experience racism yourself in other locations, this should not inure you to your own racism at home, but rather, encourage you to have more *empathy* for those who are more marginalized than you are.

6. EDITED TO ADD. If you want to help, next time someone asks you for a perspective on race, ask a minority who studies racial dynamics. That means asking people like Thanapal to speak rather than a Singapore Chinese like me.

Chinese Privilege

Daddy is fading fairly rapidly......

Last night "Daddy" passed away.

"Just to inform you that Daddy (Ibrahim bin MZ Ariffin) has passed on peacefully in his sleep at home with me reading the shahadah and he is facing to the right MashaAllah at 1130pm, Friday 3rd 2014, Malam Arafah. We are arranging his burial details. Love Ann

There will be a great many Budak Kolet out there who will remember him as the Head Boy appointed by Tun Haniff - in those days the outgoing Head Boy appointed his successors... and then there will be his contemporaries (of which there are still a few) who will remember why he was called "Ibrahim Musang"  - a term of endearment for his "exploits" in MCKK. 

Many many of you who were doing your studies in London in the 60's will remember him as the MSD Officer in Malaysia Hall. 

Those who frequent the Lake Club will know Ib well for that was one of those places he so much loved and cared for and maybe there will be some amongst you who have had the pleasure of playing Tennis with him.

There will be many in Bangsar who will remember him for his WM64 Daihatsu Charade that he had and lovingly cared for for as long as I can remember....and those at the Bangsar mosque will know him as a regular ....but most of all we will remember Ib (as I call him) for being man quite like no other! 

He had dignity, integrity he was old school...he was above all a gentleman ......there are not many men of his ilk around anymore. Not many.  

Ib is my Uncle. If you say that Ib was a wonderful man then what would you have to say about his late wife Angela...for she was really an Angel....with nothing but goodness in her heart and kindness for everyone else. A remarkable couple that lived life caring more for others than they cared for themselves. This is the song I always think of when I think of Angela and Ib.....especially in those days when I see Uncle Ib all by himself after she left him much much too early....

For you, Uncle Ib, I can only say thank for making my life and that of my family, better because you were around. When I have more time to think and ponder, maybe I will write more about this wonderful man....for now Al Fatihah and our deepest condolences for Ann and Jason.

The Selungo river runs through a remote network of valleys in the highland interior of Sarawak. Dense forests cover the steep slopes and ridges, blanketing the land into the distance. The Penan people are the original inhabitants of these forests. The Selungo valley is one part of their homeland.

Until the mid twentieth century, groups of the Penan tribe lived on the move, hunting wild boar and deer, fishing and gathering fruit, plants and sago from the jungle. This traditional nomadic culture underwent a radical change when Christian missionaries arrived and encouraged church-building. For the first time, the Penan started building permanent settlements and growing rice.

Despite these changes, the traditional tribal culture lives on. The Penan number around 10,000 people, spread across many villages. Although guns have appeared, blowpipes and poison darts are still used and often favoured for hunting because they are silent. Medicinal plants are collected from the rainforest to treat illnesses, and rattan - the fibres of a wild palm - is woven into mats and baskets. The Penan still speak their own language, distinct from those of other tribal groups.

Yes we are going to talk about Najib and Rosmah whether you like it or not!

If your future in-law becomes an outlaw – do not deny it. Just accept that in life shit happens! Unfortunately you made the wrong decision when agreeing to your daughters engagement to her son – but it is just an engagement – and knowing Rosmah I think that marriage is over and done with before it even started. Mark it as lesson learnt! People with money are not always what they seem to be.  Why should that guy want to marry your daughter unless it is to take advantage of your position as PM. Anyway ..as I said…lesson learnt.

We wait to see when Azmin Ali will publicly tell Anwar to shut the f@*k up!

What do we need to do to tell these idiots in PKR that they were elected to the state assemblies and parliament to do a job! And that job, in a language that they can understand, is to work for the people who elected them. By no stretch of the imagination can that "work for the people" encompass what is happening in PKR today where "politic dendam" is the latest order of the day. It is bad enough that we have had to put up with the politics of money which is about the only form of politics that Umno is comfortable with. Now we have put up with the politics of negativity from PKR for so long that we know that this politics of "dendam" after the sandiwara in Selangor is simply the next phase that Anwar Ibrahim has come up to keep his "budak budak suruhan" in PKR happy....as happy as a monkey is when you give them a banana.

Yes these politicians are monkeys of the first order! Real primates...the politicians I mean because the monkey are already primates!

For the past one year we have been tripping the light fantastic (so he thinks!) with Anwar Ibrahim and his "budak budak suruhan" as they took us through many idiotic intrigues and dazzling rhetoric's (huh!) of this bloody Kajang Move as one after another of these "budak budak suruhan" front up in the media to parrot their rubbish and dim wisdom as and when ordered to by their sifu - Anwar Ibrahim!  

Never mind that we saw through the whole rigmarole right from the very beginning. 

Never mind that it had costs the people of Selangor the unnecessary loss of an MP in Kajang and an honest and hard working MB.

The cost to the Pakatan Rakyat coalition is still a "work in progress" but suffice to say that it is not a matter of  if  the coalition will break up...but when it will break up!

Never mind that these politicians were pushing their own personal and political agenda rather than doing the work they were elected for.

We were all witness, again, to the bloody mindedness of half bake politicians basking in their own intellectual dimness and arrogance whose idea of politics belongs to the likes of those politicians in the tin pot alley African countries where leaders like Idi Amin and Mugabe rule!

And of course Kit Siang and his DAP (who should have known better!) are happy to tag along for the ride because they saw the political gain to DAP in giving enough rope to PKR.

DAP knows that PKR will hang themselves.

Every day many many Malaysian thank God that it was not Pakatan Rakyat that won government in the last election. 

How would Pakatan Rakyat fare in Putrajaya? 

How many Deputy Prime Ministers will they have? 

How many Deputy MB's to keep every coalition member happy? 

And how many Ministers and Ministries will be appointed and created to ensure that every "loyal" member of the Pakatan Rakyat coalition will be rewarded for doing things like the "Selangor Kemelut?" 

I shudder at the thought of these things but we can see what is happening within Pakatan Rakayat today when they do not have political power.....imagine what they would do when given political power carte blanche! Huh!

I am fed up of their antics. Fed up of their arrogance! Fed up of them harping that they should be in power because the people gave them 51% of the vote at the last general election. Cukup lah Anwar....do not be under the "Gaddafi" illusion that the people love you. Those times are long passed. 

I had hope against hope that maybe Azmin Ali will be different. 

Disappointingly he has already started his reign in Selangor by going after Khalid Ibrahim. 

He is being told to do this and that by his old Sifu - the same old Anwar Ibrahim. And to show his "control" over Azmin, Anwar does all this in the glare of the media.  

We wait to see when Azmin Ali will publicly tell Anwar to shut the f@*k up!   

We wait to see when Azmin Ali will do as he had promised to - work for the people of Selangor. 

And we hope he will not disappoint us, we hope he will not fail us and for his own good, we hope that he will not fail the Sultan of Selangor by whose tenacity, grace and wisdom, Azmin became MB.

ARAH BEKU AKAUN SMUE BTR DAN P. KLANG: AZMIN MULAKAN KARIER DENGAN LANGKAH SUMBANG

Kerajaan Selangor di bawah pimpinan Menteri Besar baharu telah mengeluarkan arahan kepada pihak bank supaya membekukan akaun bank Skim Mesra Usia Emas (SMUE) Parlimen Bandar Tun Razak dan kawasan Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Pelabuhan Klang yang disandang mantan Menteri Besar, YB Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.

Arahan yang dikeluarkan atas nama Bendahari Negeri Selangor itu dikeluarkan pada 25 September 2014 dan saya percaya ia dibuat atas arahan Menteri Besar, YAB Mohamed Azmin Ali.

Tindakan pantas Menteri Besar baharu ini seolah-oalah jawapan atau reaksi kepada titah DYMM Sultan Selangor yang menasihatkan agar kepimpinan negeri Selangor mengenepikan sengketa dan membuka lembaran baharu demi rakyat.

Nampaknya Menteri Besar baharu mahu menghukum bukan sahaja YB Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim tetapi seluruh rakyat di Pelabuhan Klang dan Bandar Tun Razak.

Tindakan keras sebegini tidak pula dilakukan kepada UMNO tetapi kepada rakan sekutu yang telah sama-sama berjuang untuk rakyat dan amat menyedihkan tindakan ini dilakukan terhadap bekas Menteri Besar yang selama ini bertungkus lumus memperkasa program-program kebajikan rakyat di bawah Merakyatkan Ekonomi Selangor (MES).

Ternyata segala jasa-jasa YB Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim selama lebih enam tahun menerajui Negeri Selangor dilupakan begitu sahaja kerana politik dendam yang disemai oleh Menteri besar baharu.

YAB Mohamed Azmin Ali memulakan karier dengan langkah sumbang dan akan menghancurkan sifat hormat rakyat dan pegawai kerajaan kepada pemimpin negeri. Budaya ini amat berbeza di bawah pentadbiran YB Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim yang telah menyemai budaya bekerja secara profesional tanpa dipengaruhi agenda politik dan peribadi.

Saya mendesak Menteri Besar memberi penjelasan munasabah bahawa arahan ini bukan kerana politik balas dendam atau mahu menghukum YB Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.

Saya percaya barisan pimpinan negeri yang lain tidak bersetuju dengan tindakan ini kerana ia boleh membangkitkan kebencian yang berterusan terhadap Pakatan Rakyat yang telah pun lama berputik dan semakin merebak semenjak bermulanya ‘Langkah Kajang’.

Azmin ‘punishing’ Khalid by freezing bank accounts?

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 1, 2014:

Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali has been criticised by former Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim’s state seat special officer Faekah Husin for starting out on the wrong foot.

In a statement released today, Faekah accused Mohamed Azmin of instructing the bank to freeze the accounts of the Skim Mesra Usia Emas (SMUE) in the parliamentary constituency of Bandar Tun Razak and state assembly constituency of Port Klang, both of which had elected Abdul Khalid to represent them.

“Directives given in the name of the state treasurer were issued on Sept 25, 2014, and I believe they were made on the orders of Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali.

“The prompt actions of the new Menteri Besar seem to be an answer or response to the commandment of the Sultan of Selangor who had advised that the Selangor state leadership put aside disputes and open a new chapter for the people,” said Faekah.

She said it seemed as if Mohamed Azmin wanted to punish not only Abdul Khalid but all the people in Port Klang and Bandar Tun Razak.

She said it was saddening that “such drastic actions were committed against the former Menteri Besar, who had worked tirelessly to empower the people’s welfare programmes under the Merakyatkan Ekonomi Selangor (MES)” programme.

“It turns out that all the services of Abdul Khalid over the past six years at the helm of Selangor were ignored because of the political revenge sowed by the new Chief Minister.

“Mohamed Azmin Ali had begun his career with a move that would destroy the nature of respect from citizens and government officials for state leaders.

“This culture is very different from that under the administration of Abdul Khalid, who had been working professionally to instill a culture without the influence of political and personal agendas,” said Faekah.

She urged Mohamed Azmin to give a reasonable explanation why this instruction was made and that this was not meant as political revenge or intended to punish Abdul Khalid.

“I believe the others in the leadership do not agree with this move because it could stir up continued hatred towards Pakatan Rakyat, which sprung up and spread out long ago after the start of the ‘Kajang Move’.”
