cakap cakap...Tian Chua, live streaming and bloggers.

12.18 pm in Melbourne
9.19 am Outside Kajang Prison.

As I am writing this, I am witnessing the release of Tian Chua from prison. Live. Azizah is there and shouts of Batu Batu Batu....Hidup Rakyat. Hidup Batu....is heard from time to time...an enthusiastic crowd is there to greet Tian Chua...and I see him in his prison haircut.... moving among the crowds of well wishers, smiling, talking and hugging anyone within his grasps. I am sure this is being seen by many others...I see over 5000 views just on this live stream alone. ..and even though I am over 3000 kilometres away in Melbourne...I can "feel" the good vibes coming through the airwaves. Fight the good fight Tian Chua...we are with you.

I can sense what part these "live stream" will play in the coming PRU14.  Nothing can match the realism of seeing things happening "live" ...and it will move many of us to do what has to be done to rid ourself of this corrupt Umno led BN government.

Every perhimpunan by the opposition should be streamed live....it would be like you are there yourself...and even if you are not physically there...you are there in spirit and in support! Support that will be translated into action at another time and another place. These "live streams" will move thousands of Malaysians to move together as one against this corrupt Najib led Barisan Nasional government. Just as the Internet was a formidable "weapon" used to his advantage by Obama in his run for the Presidency of the US...so should the opposition use these "live stream: to move and get Malaysians onto their side.

I can see that the opposition is not as organised as Najib and Umno are in using The Net to advance their political agenda. I speak from personal experience. I have between 20K to 30K clicks a day on my blog. On good days 50K. ....and while I have been "approached" by the other side to write for them...none has talked to me from the opposition. I am not talking about paying me to write for them....just  a word now and then to inform me of what is going on in the opposition so that I can write in support of what they do. For sure there are individuals in the opposition who talks to me from time to time...but these are individual efforts...nothing organised. I do not know what other bloggers are experiencing but I think it is time that the opposition does something structured and organised to keep us bloggers informed and supportive of what they do as PRU14 nears.

Do I support the opposition? Am I against Barisan Nasional?

I can only say this...if you do what is right for our people and our country...then we are on your side. And as I see it now....the opposition is headed towards that direction and so, for me, I am for the side that is doing the right things for all of us.

Enough said.

Rafizi, Tony and Tian Chua should be in DAP, a party fighting for the nation, not some family affair!

Let me get this picture STRAIGHT!

The ONLY 2 people 'consistently' on the Offensive against Najib and BN are 'Tun Dr. Mahathir' and 'Rafizi Ramli' whom sadly is NOT the 'Opposition Leader' at the moment.

The only PARTY as a whole which has been 'consistently' agressive against BN in the whole of Pakatan has been DAP, but sadly because of much of the conservative mindsets of the Malays especially in the rural and Non-Urban areas, DAP cannot take the LEAD in Pakatan simply because most of it's MAIN Leaders are NOT Malays or 'Bumiputras' to enable it to be more easily accepted by the conservative Malay/Muslim voters out there in masses.

And if Tun Dr. Mahathir's team did NOT come-up with the "PEOPLE'S DECLARATION", I did NOT see any UNIFIED effort or 'campaign' done by Pakatan's own leadership for a 'National Level'.

And the ONLY thing which has been more 'consistently' screamed by PKR's side is " BEBAS ANWAR"? While a LOT of times it seems like 'Rafizi' whom has consistently been exposing the shit and crap from UMNO/BN almost seems like he's moving 'SOLO' with the PKR Party 'tagging along' behind or focused 'elsewhere'?

So as a voter and Citizen I'm being asked to have Confidence and Faith in 'Pakatan' as a COALITION when all I see is that it is FRACTURED than truly 'united'?

If majority of our Malays out there still were NOT conservative anymore I would have preferred DAP leading the way due to their 'consistency' till now, but reality wise when dealing with the majority Malay/Bumiputra voters that isn't possible for now, while the PARTNERS which DAP depends upon to GET to the Malay Bumiputra voters has been LESS dependable ever since Anwar was put in-jail.

No need to mention AMANAH cause they're still new, and although Mat Sabu is good 'speaker', I'm NOT too sure he makes a good party leader.

So right now the "People's Declaration" which Dr. Mahathir's camp came up with is the ONLY thing which Citizens and Voters can PARTICIPATE in?

COME ON lah Pakatan! I thought most of the 'Intelligent' ones were on OUR side. Don't tell me we've run OUT of IDEAS?

I only have a bit of faith in the party which has SHOWN more consistency in Pakatan, which is only one. Sorry but slowly losing faith in this so called 'coalition'.

I really think Pakatan Harapan in general either needs some NEW leadership or that we really need a "PEOPLE'S MOVEMENT" championed BY the people where the People can participate more independently with only little support needed from the 'opposition' itself.

Kelly Cheek When you have most ex-Umno in PKR, one has to take the risk that they will jump here and there after being elected, it happened before. Furthermore freeing Anwar is not the nation priority at the moment, the nation is suffering but yet Anwar's family is using the people for their own agenda. They clearly are not fighting for Malaysian, is a matter of time people won't trust them anymore.

Azmin and Tian Chua : Axis of Evil within PKR?

“Azmin and Tian Chua must never be allowed to take over from Anwar” That was the first line of DA’s email to me this morning. I read that at around 4am Monday morning and what it said exactly conceptualized the thoughts I have had these last week or so.

So I am not the only one thinking these thoughts! There is DA and who else amongst you hold the same thoughts?

Twice I have sat down to write on this but stopped myself unsure of where to go with my thoughts. Our common goals and shared dreams is of a vibrant PKR unshackled from the corruption of its leaders while they were with UMNO. We wanted a PKR able to build on its massive victory at the 2008 General Election and a PKR honest in its avowed commitment to social justice and anti corruption.

What we have instead is a PKR mired with overt wheeling and dealings as the time for DSAI’s sentencing nears. And as with Zaid Ibrahim this time again Azmin and Tian Chua are in the thick of it all.

This time there is no Zaid Ibrahim to stand with courage and conviction against their insistence on having their way with PKR. This time there is only a first term MP –married and with child. Obedient to her parents wishes and still unsure of her place within PKR first tier leadership level despite being elected one of its Vice President in 2010.

But what pedigree for a first term MP! Her father is Anwar Ibrahim and her mother Wan Azizah. In the 2008 general election, the first that she had ever contested, and at age 28, she defeated a three-term incumbent Sharizat who was also a Minister!

So what will Azmin and Tian Chua do with her now? Or to be more exact, what will Nurrul do when her father is again incarcerated for sodomy two?

What I want Azmin and Tian Chua to know is this. Before you move to do to Nurrul what you did to Zaid Ibrahim do not forget that she is her father’s daughter! When push comes to shove I think Anwar will blink!

Do not forget that unlike you and Tian Chua, Nurrul has a deep reserve of goodwill and affection from within PKR, from within the young and from females. Doubt this at your own peril.

What she lacks in experience and political expedience she more than makes up through her commitment to do good and what is right for our country and its people – even, I suspect, if that means defying Anwar and Azizah to do what she thinks is right for PKR and for the people she serves.

And so the stage is set for PKR to hopefully once again defy our prediction of a failed political entity. Will PKR arise from the debacle of its party elections and its inability to unshackle itself from its UMNO past to become relevant again to Pakatan Rakyat and in the long run contribute to politics at the national level? Or PKR allow itself to be railroaded by Azmin and Tian Chua to become a caricature of what is UMNO dulu, kini dan selama lama?

More to the point : Will Anwar be a spectator to all this happenings within his own party or will he seized the day and do the right thing for PKR, our people, our county and his Family?

The answer to this escapes me but I know this: If PKR is to survive politically then what DA said to me holds true:

“Azmin and Tian Chua must never be allowed to take over from Anwar”
