Can these non-Muslims/Infidels demonstrate outside the Masjid to show they are not happy with what is going on in the Masjid?

What can a cross on a building do to make Muslims so fearful of its presence? Can this cross tarik people into the Church and also tarik people to become Christians? Are Muslims retards to allow themselves to be taken in by a cross?

Are these Muslims happy with the way corrupt Muslim leaders are behaving in Parliament? What about all those Muslims girls working in massage parlors, dangdut bars and being mistresses and girlfriends to those Malay Muslims who can afford to keep them - Ministers included! Why don't these two datuks demonstrate against wayward Sultans and corrupt Muslims politicians? Too susah ka? Maybe your datukship will be pull back?    

These Muslims say that putting a cross outside a Church is "Tak bagus...Malay areas should not be like that...especially in an area where 95% of the people are Muslims"

Really?

It is time Jakim make these sort of Muslims understand that tolerance and an acceptance of the way how other people live their lives and how they worship is a fundamental requirement for anyone wanting to live in a multi - racial society like Malaysia. 

But you know what disgust me most? 

All it takes is for the government to make it known to these kind of retards that it will not tolerate these kind of behaviour where the dominant Malay Muslim population can impose their will upon how the non-Muslims should live their lives - and if this government does that, it will stop. But they don't because it is politically expedient to keep these religious retards on their payroll to stir up the Muslims against the Infidels!

I live in a Christian dominated society. Sometimes when times are tough I go and line up for a meal at the Soup Kitchen run by Christians. Sometimes when I need some grocery to tide me over until my next pension comes in, I go the Anglicare center nearby to get some supplies - also run by Christians. There are Churches everywhere - at least five within a few minutes away from me. Yes on Sundays there are religious programs on TV  - but I do not have to watch them and there are other channels to watch if I want to watch something else....but I am not a Christian....and nobody has even handed me a leaflet to tell me about the Christian religion...what more to convert me. I can think for myself what I want to do and who or what I want to worship.

It is time these Muslims retards be taught to be tolerant and be made to understand to leave others to worship as they like. The others leave the Muslims to worship as they like - so why can't these Muslim retards return the favor....or are they too stupid to understand even that?       

And if any of you out there wants to have your say on this matter in support of these religious retards - write your piece and I will post it on this blog - just make sure that what you write is worthy of being read by others.

Guys I wrote this story today and I want to share with you my experience. I don't want to focus on the sheer stupidity of those protesting, but the kindness of a girl named Jannah from Sinar Harian who was also covering this protest. We were the only two reporters there and I was the only non-Malay. Being raised Christian myself, its not hard to see why I was affected by this. So my line of questioning to the villagers was.. sarcastic.
I asked them, what authority do you have to tell someone else to not have a church here? Who gives you the right to claim this land as Muslim land? How will a cross turn your son into a Christian.
These are sensible questions but of course, some people can't be swayed with rational thinking. This angered the group and many became confrontational, grabbing my shirt and speaking to me in a threatening manner.
I have to admit, I was pretty scared. In comes Jannah. I've never met her before. She came up to me and said, hey.. I think you should stay with me. Don't walk off by yourself. We conducted our interviews together after that. Even at times when I wandered off to try and speak with the pastor, I noticed she followed me closely from behind. And she later even walked me to my car. Wow!
I would have probably been beaten up or worse if it wasn't for her.
This story is making rounds on FB and Twitter, because it shows the kind of Malaysia we live in. Intolerant, mindless and sometimes unlivable. But there are gems like Jannah who remind me why Malaysia is a beautiful place. I think thats a story worth telling more than a bunch of people angry at a cross. Wherever you are, Jannah.. thank you!

Tun Mahathir is now fighting our fight for us?

For Mahathir the ends justify the means. As Prime Minister he has time and time again done what he had to do to achieve his ends. You can be rest assured that he will do the same thing today to do what he says Najib must do. Resign. Mahathir is now in the fight of his life - whatever is left of it.

He is not fighting for money - he has all that he needs and more. He is not fighting for position nor for vindication of any  principles and beliefs that he may have. 1MDB may be a good enough reason to go after Najib but Mahathir have been responsible for worse. 

So what is driving the old man to do this at 90 years of age?

For many, with age comes wisdom. For Mahathir wisdom took a detour down many a questionable path and none more torturous that the one he had to take through the years after his retirement. I had often wondered aloud that if only Tun had used his intellect and his legendary super powers for good rather than for evil, we would by now be well on our way to be that developed nation status that he has been talking about for many years. 

But never you mind. An olive branch has already been extended towards Tun by none other that that wily old politician - Mr Rocket himself - Lim Kit Siang. And Kit Siang would have done so because he knows that Anwar Ibrahim would want him to do so. How heartening would that be to see Anwar, Kit Siang, Mahathir, Ku Li and hopefully Hadi, on the same dais urging all Malaysians to work with them for change - the DREAM TEAM.    

Tun Mahathir is now fighting our fight for us.

You and me will make up the numbers but those in the driving seats would be the creme de la creme of Malaysian politics. Zaid Ibrahim is already making conciliatory noises breathing life into the possibility of this union and we will want him to be up there amongst the Dream Team. Musa Hitam is another. Pak Lah must be persuaded to come on board - if only to tell us that he and Mahathir have made their peace and that Negara dan Rakyat mesti di utamakan. 

What matters now is the future. Our future. 

We have been through some horrendous times these last decade or so and the last six years of Najib is one we needed to have so that we and others will  know not to allow another Najib to grace Seri Perdana ever again. You must not forget that the Rakyat gave Najib the mandate to do what he is doing now. We are complicit in the abuse of his public office for his personal gain.

That mandate now has to be taken from Najib. This can only be done when there is someone else to take Najib's place. This is Mahathir's immediate tasks - to identify who will be the person  - and more critical, that person has to be endorsed not only by the Dream Team, but more crucially by the people. Given his past choices - Musa, Ghaffar, Anwar, Pak Lah and now Najib all of them left much to be desired - I trust that Tun, in all his newly acquired wisdom, will leave the deciding to others.

I will go to sleep tonight with a smile for I know that no matter what happens tomorrow and in the days to come I am witnessing again the sort of events that happened in 1998 when the first few voices were heard to proclaim -  with much passion and fervent hope for change -  the word : REFORMASI!

Yes Mahathir was the one who gave Reformasi life by what he did to Anwar Ibrahim.

Is it not fitting then that it will be Mahathir again who will bring this sordid era in our nation's history to a close by standing together with Anwar to tell us all that the time for change has finally and truly come? 

And I will smile because if Tun and Anwar can stand together with the DREAM TEAM and declare that then I know that in his last conscious moments on this earth, Tun will also smile and say, "I have done my duty".

Remember those good old days when the DJ was King?

Remember those good old days when we use to have the radio on all the time listening to those songs requests? Guys sending songs like "Living Doll" by Cliff Richard to their girlfriends and girls sending songs like "Are you Lonesome Tonight" by Elvis to their boyfriends? And they were boys who would send Cliff Richard's song "Don't Talk to Him" to their girlfriends if they thought other guys were trying to potong jalan?

Well I was thinking about those days when I remember this old Ann Murray "Walk Right Back" and thought that in the good old days Najib would have rang up the radio station and request them to play the song and dedicate it to Mahathir  - with a request read out by the DJ - most probably Patrick Teoh - asking Mahathir to listen to the words of the song carefully!   

And then Kit Siang could also make a special request to the radio station asking them to play Anne Murray "You are my Sunshine" and make a special dedication to Mahathir asking Mahathir and everyone listening to pay attention to the words of the songs. 

Ahhh those were the good old days...no need to hantam each other like today in the media, on TV and in any which way...Patrick Teoh the DJ could do all that for us!

BUKIT MERTAJAM: Two traffic policemen escorting Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s convoy to a press conference were involved in an accident on the North-South Expressway (NSE). 

Their motorcycles collided into each other and crashed at KM134.4 of the NSE at about 9.45am on Friday after one of the traffic policemen tried to avoid a car.

However, both Kpl Ramlan Arifin, 49, and Kpl Zulkifli Mat Desa, 48, sustained minor injuries and received treatment at the Seberang Jaya Hospital.

The officers from the north Seberang Prai district traffic police branch were escorting Dr Zahid, who is also Umno vice-president, and his convoy to a press conference in Permatang Pauh when the incident happened.

Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club Membership Transfer Fee: A Rip Off

 

A few of my friends have been trying to sell their KLGCC membership since they wish to relocate overseas for reasons that have to do with the politics of our country. To their horror, they have to come to know that the club membership transfer is now RM70,000 and will be able to do so only if they are prepared to absorb this fee or share it with a prospective buyer. 

It would appear that in KLGCC, you can get in but cannot get out easily.

One member received this response from private agency and I quote:

There are quite a few buyers but their offer price is around RM200k to RM230k inclusive of transfer fee (TF). Unfortunately the buyers are not willing to fork out the high transfer fee RM70k which the club increased last year from RM25k.

Last year (before TF increase) there were transactions at about RM195k to RM200k incl TF, ie. sellers received RM170k to RM175k. With the increase of TF since August last year, there have been no transactions…because while buyers are willing to share part of the TF they are not willing to absorb completely the TF price increase.

Although KLGCC declares the “market price” of the membership at RM350k, we have not seen any buyers willing to pay this amount yet. If they buy at RM350k, they would need to sell at RM420k(RM350k + TF) just to break even. Perhaps they don’t expect the price to continue to increase in the near future. This is the current situation.

I am told that this  increase in transfer fee was initiated and approved by Sime Darby Berhad, the multinational company which has a big say in the management of this so-called prestigious club  ostensibly with the support of the membership body. This is a substantial increase from RM 25,000 previously. No reason is given for this change. Even rm25,000 is already a huge sum. I wonder how much work is involved by the Club, and which hot shot legal firm is being used,  to formalise the ownership transfer. How complicated can this transaction  to warrant such a cost. So isn’t any wonder that the transfer market is dead?

One would have thought that Sime Darby would understand that the objective should be to facilitate membership change and allow those who have invested in the club membership over many years to exit and realise a reasonable return on their investment. Obviously, this is not the case. It is just nothing but a ripoff.

Will  the Sime Darby  management, the Club President and the Club Captain, Dato Mustafa Ali, look into this matter and the benefits of being a member of this Club. For example, members and non-members are charged the same rates of use of banqueting facilities for events like weddings, parties and other social functions. Surely, there are other ways for Sime Darby to make money.–Din Merican

A decade of work is now on the verge of disappearing under a deluge of suspicion and fear raging through Pakatan Rakyat.

Anwar Ibrahim, Lim Kit Siang and the late Tok Guru Nik Aziz weaved PAS, DAP and PKR into Pakatan Rakyat. They did so sans deep pockets and large armies. They knew that somewhere in the mix was the promise of a credible opposition

That soon came to pass when the coalition denied Barisan National of its two thirds majority in Parliament, and its formation of state governments in Kedah, Perak, Selangor, Kelantan and Penang in 2008.

Pakatan forever changed the political landscape of Malaysia by presenting the first credible challenge to Umno's five decades of uncontested political domination - effectively putting in place a two-party system in Malaysian politics.

Political power, influence and privilege were now no longer the domain to be abused only by Barisan Nasion. It is also now Pakatan Rakyat's to abuse as well. And abused it they did.

The party elections of DAP and PKR mirrored that of Umno. The only limitations being money - or the lack of it on the part of DAP and PKR.

What Anwar and Kit Siang were intent on doing was the ammassing of power and influence within their own parties through the election (by hook or by crook) of their own nominees. This they pursued with scant respect for what they have always professed to uphold: Free and fair elections.

cakap cakap...feeling stupid and happy at the same time.

How many of you have felt stupid and happy at the same time? Impossible? Let me story you what happened to me yesterday.

Since I had pay TV installed a few months back I have been watching some Football. The last time I really took an interest in football was during George Best's Manchester United days in the 1960's. I even remembered that day a long long time ago, when, for the first time I was able to name ALL the players playing in MU with George Best....ahhh those were the days...though for a while I was a bit confused about Charlton until I realized that there were two of them - Bobby Charlton and Jack Charlton - two brothers!

What I do these days is surf the TV channel and when I see a game of Football being played, click that channel and listen to the commentator to see if they are any names I would recognize playing in the matches being shown : Messi, Christiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic,Suarez, Neymar,  Ronaldo, Messi, Suarez, Nehmar, Rooney, Gerrard..and if their names are mentioned I would stay on the channel to watch that match. I do not know the names of the clubs they play for only the name of the players matters to me....yes I can see some of you shaking your head in sorrow at my ignorance...but that was how ignorant I am and still am, about football.

Last night as I was surfing the sports channel I came across a football match that was just about to start and it said FC Barcelona - which sounded familiar  - so I stayed on the channel. As you know at the start of every game they put the names of the players and the position they play on the screen and I noticed that the three forwards for Barcelona were Messi, Suarez and Nehmar - my three favorite players and all playing for the same team! Jesus Christ! Why did I not know this before?

That was when I felt stupid not knowing that three of my favorite players  were on the same team and at the same time happy because I now know that whenever Barcelona plays - I can watch all three of them playing!

That is what I mean by feeling stupid and happy at the same time....have a nice day!

We have seen it all before...the two M's facing off each other, Mahathir  & Anwar, Mahathir & Pak Lah and now Mahathir & Najib. And if you want to go back further....Mahathir & Tunku. Mahathir and the Sultans. This Mahathir is a serial trouble maker par excellence so what is different this time around? 

This time around he has never been so alone in his endeavours and yet at the same time have so many on his side. 

To all intents and purposes he is fighting Najib on his own for no one has as much fire power as Mahathir himself in his attempts to dislodge Najib from the lodge at Putrajaya and yet he has so many cheering him on and wanting him to succeed in what he wants to do.

And why is that?

The object of Tun's vitriol is deserved.

Since the time of Mahathir himself no other Prime Minister has been the object of so much odium and condemnation as this husband of Rosmah.

Let me start with the most obvious : Queen Control. Mutual respect between spouses is the way to go in these days when gender equality is a fact of life. For one to dominate the other means the union is suspect. For Rosmah to dominate Najib, her second husband and the generous provider of all things that she desires including but not exclusively  - HERMES bags for the old bag -  and our Prime Minister to boot, speaks volumes about the sort of person Najib is! Apart from his bad taste when choosing a second wife the more obvious is his bad taste in holding on to her! Enough said! 

At the last count, Bill Gates has given away USD $28 billion of his own money globally through his transparently operated private foundation to enhance health care and reduce extreme poverty. Please note that the operative word here is "his money". 

In giving out money, Najib has matched, if not by far exceeded Bill Gates generosity but it is our money that he has given away and the cause is his own. BRIM is to buy the peoples vote, and for those in UMNO and BN who are the recipients of his generosity with our money,  it is to buy their support to stay as their chosen one in Umno and BN. Never in the history of Malaysia has so much money been used to buy so many to benefit so few - and who are the few? Najib, Rosmah and Family! 

There are more...much more of Najib's follies that we could together talk about until the cows come home but it is 4.26 AM here in Melbourne on a Tuesday morning and I need my sleep - so let me, in closing, say this.

Tun, you are not alone. 

Enough said!
