What is all this fuss about a work of fiction –Tanda Putera - about the May 13th Riot?
It’s a work of fiction! Come on lah…put it in the same genre as Batman,
Superman, Iron Man and Mat Bond!
Fiction: An imaginative creation or a pretense
that does not represent actuality but has been invented
Sandiwara: Farce.
Now which part of the above explanation do you not understand?
Why do you not take it in the context that the film was done at the
behest of an UMNO led Barisan Nasional government using our money and is
totally dedicated to the UMNO proposition that Malaysia is for the Malays and
that all that is needed to put the Chinese in a bad light will be done!
And if that Chinese happens to be Lim Kit Siang, Advisor to DAP – so much the
better. And if Lim Kit Siang is in a pique over it all…UMNO can give itself a
pat on the back and say “Job Done Well!”.
Pique: A state of vexation caused by a perceived
slight or indignity; a feeling of wounded pride.
Aisehman Kit Siang take five and step outside the box for a minute.
Consign Tanda Putera to the same heap of drivel that other UMNO sandiwara and
farce have been dumped. Do not make the same mistake that UMNO have made in
assuming that the Malaysian public do not have the intelligence to discern what
is fact and what is fiction.
And if you did urinate where they said you did urinate…so what? Many of
us have done worst! And let us not go to that place where we start cataloging
the sins and idiotic things that UMNO has done – even if we would have more fun
doing it than watching Tanda Putera!
This is a work of fiction! And this bloody UMNO led Barisan Nasional
government has used OUR money for much worse purposes!
The May 13th Riot is a done deal! Close. Tutup. Habis. Lesson learned! Let us
move on to other things….like putting together an effective opposition so that
we can keep those bloody Barisan Nasional bastards in parliament honest!
This stupid movie was the creation by stupid people for the stupid to watch. In the good old days before Merdeka the Malays can mix along with the Chinese and Indians like brothers and sisters and can even share the same table to makan in kopitiams. What has happened today? May13 was history and long gone but some idiots still wants to make it an issue to provoke the Malays into hating the Chinese by blaming them for starting the riot. And they are telling us to fly the Jalur Gemilang as an expression of love for the country.

ReplyDeleteThe trouble is, not everyone will appreciate it as fiction, creativity. Some will take it as the truth and this can raise anger among some Malays against the Chinese. It is only well informed Malays like you who will take it as fiction.

ReplyDeleteIt is so darn depressing reading all these idiotic news coming out of Malaysia, and the latest is that the Kedah Umno government is contemplating blocking the water flow of a river passing thru part of Penang! And all these because Kedah wants to charge Penang for the water, and Penang is not paying! Hmmmph... Umno... it is money, money , money... and the son of Mahatter!
