Agree to disagree! But always ABU!

Let me be clear on one thing. I write as I see it. I do not write much about my cousin AJ because he goes about his life without bothering anyone. Nor do I write about another cousin of mine – the man from KP because he too lives his life far from the maddening crowd  - in Kuala Pilah to be exact. Neither of them seeks high public office or have designs to go into politics. And so I leave them alone to live their life as they see fit.

I, on the other hand, chose to write on a number of issues and in doing so I am not shy about expressing my opinions and comments of matters that interests me. When I do this I accept that there will be some of you that will agree with me and some that do not. There will be many who would not have heard of steadyaku47 even if they did come across the blog while surfing the net. But whether you agree or disagree with what I write I know that by self publishing my thoughts on my blog I tacitly invite you to debate and discourse with me on these issues.

Whether you agree or disagree with what I write we need to accept a few truths. We make our judgement on matters that matters to us based on what we perceive to be the facts. All that I ask you all to do is to do what I do – do not close your mind to anything out there. Whatever your inclinations do have the strength to hear what others have to say and then use what knowledge you have gain to form your own opinion of things.

I am taking time to write this because I sense that as more and more of us take to the net and self publish our thoughts there have been an abundance of us that tends to shoot from the hip  ala John Wayne. Sometimes that is needed when John Wayne goes into the Bad Guys territory all by himself and shoots it out to rescue the damsel in distress. But more often then not you must remember that what you write stays on the Internet for all to read what you wrote when you are agitated, upset and angry.

Let cooler heads and thoughts prevail. We are together in this fight against UMNO and BN. Yes we need the ‘Berani Mati’ guys to once in a while go after the riffs raffs in UMNO and BN but that would be needed when we get to the hand to hand combat with UMNO and BN closer to the day of reckoning. For now be focus on ABU.

Make each and everyone of your days to the 13th general election one of contemplation and of hope that our numbers will grow with each passing day. One by one we will do our duty to make change possible.

This is what UMNO and BN fears. That our numbers will grow! That our resolve to vote them out will strengthen. And that each day will seal their fate of being consign to the political wilderness that they have managed to consign  others to in the past 53 years!

You can be assured that Mahathir, Najib, Muhyiddin, Nazri, Hishamuddin, Ibrahim Ali, KJ…all these people and many others within BN and UMNO will tremble and wet their pants come Election Time.

All that we need to do is to stand together and we will be good. You are one with me we are two. Who else will join us?

  1. I am not sure where you stand HH and right now I treat you with disdain. You claim you are a strong advocator of ABU. But then would Anwar and Azmin be any different from you. They are for ABU like you and me but while we sit in our respective study rooms, you with your Apple and I with my Dell, they are there making things happen.
You and I are nothing but minnows but in our little ways like you said,we can contribute to the cause of ABU.
But you sure do things in a funny way. That is why I think you are not normal but narcissistic probably.
Why hightlight PKR leaders especially Anwar's failings when you can talk of their achievements and they have many!
Before the dawn of battle the General go round talking to his men about their strenght, what they can achieve and the honorable cause that they are fighting for. These men have to believe in that General and the leaders who are to lead them into battle. Any iota of doubt in the ability of their leaders is a sure prescription for defeat.
You are actually planting the seeds of doubt in the people. In your little way, you are causing damage. Why oh why do you have to do that at the 12th or shall I say at the 13th hour.
You act like UMNO's 'fifth columnist' actually and I dont think I am the only who thinks so.
