What has all this got to do with Deepak? They are all good for a laugh! Let us now go on to other more pressing matters.....
And for the latest:
Deepak Jaikishan, the controversial carpet trader has dropped his suit against the government for an alleged breach of agreement over a land in Bukit Raja in Selangor.
This came in light of the recent announcement that a branch of the government investment company has acquired an 80% stake in his property development firm. The price mentioned was at RM30million. Deepak had made the headlines earlier when he sued Syarikat Tanah dan Harta Sdn Bhd, Awan Megah (M) Sdn Bhd and its nominee company Cebur Megah Development Sdn Bhd. The acquisition was made by a unit belonging to the Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT).
Smart move by Putrajaya. Only money can keep his mouth shut. Deepak is a happy man now. Later he might come up on TV to say he was threatened by somebody to say what he said.
