Never settle for 2nd best.

Too many of us are now accepting of things that were once frowned upon if not totally dismissed. We have become so because we tell ourselves that the "reality" in politics is that those in power need money to stay in power. We tell ourselves that it is a "me first" world that we live in and anybody given the opportunity that KJ had while Pak Lah was PM would be a fool not to profit from it. When we need to grease the palm of PDRM, JPJ or Puspakom - we do so willingly because the benefit of paying $30 to the mata mata to get out of paying a $300 fine is simply economics. You would be a fool to not do it! And so we have someone telling me that if DSAI copulates with a donkey he will still want him as PM because anything or anybody that can cause the downfall of UMNO/BN is good. I said anything because surely somebody who copulates with a donkey is sub human - thus a "thing". But I digress.

I do not want anyone who even copulates outside his marriage to be PM..what more with a donkey! I do not want anyone who drinks - at whatever age - to comment that Kartika must be punished for drinking beer - as Din did! And I certainly do not want any one with even a remote possibility of being involved in the murder of Altantuya to be PM.And of course where sodomy 2 is concern if there is even the possibility of DSAI being guilty (as there already is!) then he should stand down as leader of PR until he is cleared or convicted by the courts. It is simply applying what standards we expect of Najib to others. If I ask for an egg with my Rojak I expect the Mamak to put in a whole egg - not just part of an egg and then charge me 50 cents for it. For our leaders from both sides of the political divide, let us make them understand that no more will we acquiesce to their habit of taking us for fools and imbeciles. They do so to their own peril.

For those holding high public office we insist on values that will set them apart from the riff raffs (that's me and you FMZam!) that pollutes this earth of ours. Values that we ourselves might not necessarily be able to live up to, but our leaders should. If we do not insists on this then we run the risks of having the Malaysia that we have now!
Our leaders must be someone we will look up to.Everyone of them a Ku Li or a......(God there simply is no other leaders of the same stature as Ku Li....sad...). Leaders we want to try and emulate. We will never tolerate it if they stray from their marriage vows or allow greed to be the code they live by.

Impossible to find anyone like that? Then our society has failed itself. And we have failed because we allow our leaders to consistently set low standards for themselves and they still even failed to meet those already low standards.
And by these standards we will now measure Pakatan Rakyat if any of them dare to consider the possibility of being my Prime Minister! Najib is not my Prime Minister. He is a pretender to the throne that his father once graced. Perish those thoughts Din if you too think that you will one day become PM because you are not even a shadow of the man Tun Hussein was. For KJ and those sons of that Mamak from Kerala - just go and play with the expensive toys that our money has enabled you all to enjoy.

After the 13th general election I would think it impossible for any one but only the very best amongst us that would dare to contemplate being Prime Minister of our country. And this reality precludes almost all the politicians that we see in front of us today bar a few.
It is not for me or any UMNO warlord to determine this. We will all know when he or she emerges from amongst us. From afar I can already see the crowd making way for this person to walk boldly into our midst and become our leader by popular acclaim. Chinese, Indian, Kadazan, Dayak, Iban ....hell he might even be a Malay...who ever he or she is...we will know when the time comes. Until then all you pretenders to the throne can have the run of the palace.....but until then...we wait and they can dream at playing Kings!

This royal throne of kings, this sceptred isle,
This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,
This other Eden, demi-paradise,
This fortress built by Nature for herself
Against infection and the hand of war,

William Shakespeare, "King Richard II"

  2. Bro.. please lah.. don't tell me that you do not know this: Those who can lead are those who realise that there are no morals, and who knows that there is one natural right.. i.e. the rights of the upper class to rule over the middle and lower class. Please tell me Sien.. who sponsors election? After that it will be followed by years and years of pay back period of projects, projects and projects. Whom do you think would be the angel fit enough to be the next PM? Believe me bro, there will always be someone who is willing to go inside the angel's mother's womb to find out his faults and weaknesses from the moment the parents' of the angel make the angel. Don't be one of them Sien..please.

  6. Have you all ever thought why is it so difficult for you to think of a leader other than Anwar that you have to ask Hussein? Why is it you all found it damn hard to accept life without Anwar that you have to ask Hussein? I thought we all have been talking long ago about the good breed of leaders in Pakatan that we would have no problem to get a ready replacement in case Anwar is jailed? Don't just wait for Hussein to do the thinking for you or if what you have meant was nothing more than just to ridicule Hussein for making his stand against Anwar. I thought we all have heard it right that we will fight this government with or without Anwar, but I'm ashamed to see all you meant is only with Anwar.
