Waytha Moorthy : Zakir banned in 6 countries. In Malaysia he is hosted for breakfast and dinners by Najib and his Deputy.

Dear Concerned Citizens irrespective of race and religion,

We write to you as there is a serious threat to our National Security with the presence of hate preacher Zakir Naik in Malaysia. He has openly condoned terrorism, delivered hate speeches and insulted Christians, Jews, Hindus and Pagan beliefs.

He is banned in 6 countires and the UK Court of Appeal confirmed he is a threat to National security hence upheld the decision of Home Secretary to ban his entry into UK.
However in Malaysia he is hosted for breakfast and dinners by our Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister. He is given VIP treatment and invited to deliver speeches at various universities.

We do not oppose to the state inviting preachers to propagate the Muslim religion nor are we opposed to the Muslim religion or their right to practice.

However to invite a person who openly support and promote terrorism is an insult to the intelligence of ordinary citizens of Malaysia.

The duty of National security is at the hands of the country’s leaders. But if the top leaders fail to ensure the security of our country and the peaceful co-existence of the people of Malaysia, then as responsible citizens we have to act.

National Security is our collective responsibility. We need to put our case plainly without offending any parties but stick to the truth and concern for our country’s peace and stability. Keeping silent is no longer an option. I now invite you, for the love of our peaceful country, Malaysia, to join us in an open discussion to chart the legal action planned against the government.
