Cop found guilty of causing Aminulrasyid's death

SHAH ALAM: The Sessions Court here has found Kpl Jenain Subi guilty of causing the death of 15-yr-old Aminulrasyid Amzah.

Sessions Court judge Latifah Mohd Tahar will decide on the sentence later on Thursday.

Kpl Jenain, 48, was charged with causing Aminulrasyid's death between 1.10am and 2am on April 26, last year, at Jalan Tarian 11/2, Section 11 here.

He was charged under Section 304(a) of the Penal Code which carries a jail sentence of up to 30 years and a fine.

On Feb 28, the court ordered Kpl Jenain to enter his defence after ruling that the prosecution had succeeded in proving a prima facie against him.
