A media brief for the national press on the Stop Lynas Campaign

“People are prepared to lie on the road to stop the rare earth concentrate from being transported to the Lynas refinery plant in Gebeng.”
This is the message from the group of 10 Save Malaysia Stop Lynas resident representatives for the staff of the Lynas Corporation in their Perth office late last week. They were in Perth and Fremantle last week for an intensive and
extensive campaign trail to stop the Lynas toxic plant in Gebeng.
This Press Conference is called to brief journalists of the outcome of the Western Australia visit as well as SMSL’s current campaign focus and future plans.
The position of SMSL in relation to the latest move by MCA and Hua Tuan will also be clarified.

Ample time for questions and answers will be available with opportunities to get the views and reflections of some of the delegation members of their Australian visit.
